Perfect!
This was a great way to experience Alaska, away from towns and cruise ships. The wild life was amazing and we were very comfortable on the Admiralty Dream. Our land experience in our second wk in Alaska doesn't hold a candle to our liveaboard wk!

Truly Enjoyable Experience
This is the first small ship cruise we've experienced. The Admiralty Dream with her crew and fellow passengers made this a truly enjoyable experience. The leisurely atmosphere made it easy to relax. The expectations of wildlife viewing were exceeded. Sea otters; sea lions; harbor seals; mountain goats; brown bears; and of course, breaching humpback whales were among the highlights. The crew's ability to learn every passenger's name and what cabin we were assigned is impressive. And, the meals and snacks were incredible. Chef Brooks always made an appearance after the evening meal to talk with passengers and hear our feedback on the food, and answer questions. All staff were pleasant and eager to share their knowledge on the local wildlife; plant life; and Alaskan culture. The ship's bridge was easily accessible for passengers to visit and chat with either the captain or first mate about our location and the workings of the ship. Shore excursions were enlightening and offered the chance for passengers to "stretch our legs."
