“Comfortable cabin and boat, better that expected (and better than the pictures).”
Highlights
The Neptune One is a luxurious 38-meter/125-foot vessel that accommodates up to 16 guests in 8 beautifully appointed cabins, including 4 deluxe suites, 2 deluxe sea view cabins, and 2 deluxe sea view cabins with balconies. All cabins are air-conditioned and have en-suite bathrooms with warm water showers. On the main deck, you'll find the large saloon and restaurant, as well as the spacious dive deck. Up on the sundeck, you can enjoy stunning views of the ocean and sky while sunbathing or stargazing. Two dive tenders accompany the main vessel, ready to take divers to the best dive sites Indonesia has to offer.
The Neptune One operates in 3 destinations: the Banda Sea, Komodo, and Raja Ampat. The Banda Sea is an ideal destination for intermediate and advanced divers, with its stunning coral reefs, warm water, and excellent visibility. In Komodo, divers can drift over sandy bottoms or rocky corals, hover on top of pinnacles that attract pelagic fish, or go diving with Manta Rays. Since conditions can be challenging in Komodo, the Neptune One won’t take divers with fewer than 50 logged dives there. Raja Ampat boasts an impressive array of underwater environments, from easy reef dives to deep sea dives and high-speed drift dives.

As good a trip as I could imagine
This was our second trip on a liveaboard. We had a spacious room with an excellent firm bed, lots of windows and our own little patio, so much nicer than cramped quarters with only a porthole for natural light. The crew was without exception very competent, helpful and friendly. The choice of dive sites was excellent, one great dive after another, which required some creative commuting, but everything happened according to plan. Very happy with the whole Neptune experience.

The perfect Raja Ampat adventure
1 - The crew. Everyone is so lovely, and I do mean everyone because every person on the crew helped me with something, whether it was my air, my gear, my food, my ginger tea, my dive, my towel after shower, the cleanliness of my room, my boat ride (to dive and across the sea), or my oxygen tank. But what is more important, they did that with a massive smile and great politeness every time we passed each other. Thank you all for being so kind and sharing a bit of your life with me! 2. The food. The boat’s kitchen is excellent. Everything was fresh, delicious and thought out. I am especially grateful for accommodating my needs as a non-meat eater <3 I would come again for the food only! - Dives organisation. Super professional, organised and on point. Names, tags, towels, numbers, instructions, buddies, equipment, checks, everything.

A bucket list item checked off!
Excluding the insane amount of time it took to fly to Indonesia from Ottawa, Ontario, this was the best trip of my life. The boat, the staff, the attention we got as guests, the diving, the other guests…. Everything was perfect.

Beautiful diving trip
Everything was super organized, the pick-up, the diving, the detailed briefings, the excursions, the food up to the transfer to the airport / hotel. The staff very friendly and helpful. The boss also lends a hand. Max. 4 divers per guide and the guides were great. The food was top and varied. There was even coffee beans! Only yoghurt and muesli were even available after a few days.

Awesome week on Neptune One!
My week on Neptune One started with an early morning airport pick up by the crew followed by a boat tour and breakfast. Most of the other guests didn’t arrive until mid day but the boat was ready and I was able to get settled in and lounge around until we set off. Day 1 was just a single checkout dive and then we set sail for the night. The next 6 or 7 days are a blur. Everything was fantastic, if we weren’t diving we were eating great food and if we weren’t eating we were diving or it was bedtime. The schedule was for 3 or 4 dives a day and we did 20 total. The crew do a great job to make sure you are happy. Everyone was amazing and very friendly. The boat is large enough that it didn’t feel crowded with the 16 guests and 17 crew onboard. I was in one of the deluxe cabins which is below deck and the room was large and well laid out. The upper cabins were very nice as well with the ones off the back having private balconies. Diving met my expectations. We went up to central and north Raja Ampat. I think we were suppose to go south but weather prevented that. We had abundant fish life and beautiful corals. We got lucky and saw lots of Mantas and even a school of Mobula rays! Macro life was exceptional as well. Nudis, pigmy seahorses and sooo many different shrimp. Our guide had a great eye for finding the little stuff for us. Support before the trip was great as well, they answered all my questions and I felt prepared before getting on the boat. Thanks for a great week! I’ll be back for one of the other itineraries!

Perfect experience!
It was our first experience on a liveaboard and we couldn't have been happier. The trip was perfectly organized by Athena, the director, so all the timings were perfectly complied with. We loved the combination of scuba diving with some land-based activity. For example, we went to see the komodo dragons, trekking on Pasar island or a barbecue on the beach. The service is always attentive, adapting to your personal tastes and trying to personalize the experience. The dives are very interesting, we loved them. We have not seen such a lively and vigorous coral anywhere else (we have dived in Maldives, Thailand, Mexico, the Philippines...).As for the food, we were surprised for good. Very varied and quite good. Without a doubt, a great experience.

If Komodo or Raja Ampat, then only with Neptune One.
I've already experienced a few liveaboards, but this trip with Neptune One was the best by a huge margin!I can't rave enough about how the crew made this trip a memorable one. What a terrific, helpful and competent team. So many different demands come together in a small space and they have managed to make all guests happy: The safety before/during/after diving, the commitment, the attention to detail, the extremely pleasant atmosphere (always a friendly smile, always nice words) and the terrific food. Sounds overly enthusiastic, but it's simply the truth.

- The service and friendliness of the staff (service, dive guides etc.) was just TOP!. Super nice dive sites - perfectly timed (current etc.) by the organizer (Savri). The Neptune One is a super-equipped boat with spacious cabins and enough space to linger (shaded + sunny, depending on your needs).
