Highlights
Completely renovated in 2019, the MY Sunlight liveaboard is a 34m yacht offering year-round Red Sea dive safaris. She caters to 20 guests in 10 modest cabins, each with single and double beds, individually controlled air-conditioning, and private ensuite bathrooms. The indoor salon and dining room feature air-conditioning, comfortable sofas, and a drink station. A large, partially covered sunbathing area and an outdoor lounge are on the upper deck. The perfect place to hang out with your new dive buddies to swap dive stories at the end of the day.
Located at the stern of the boat is a large dive deck with rinse tanks, storage space, and a platform for easy entry into the 2 zodiacs or straight into the water. Divers can choose 3 itineraries, the North Route, South Route, and Deep South Route, aboard the M/Y Sunlight. The North Route is perfect for wreck lovers with dives as the world-famous SS Thistlegorm, Rosalie Muller, and Carnatic, as well as reef dives at Ras Mohammed National Park & Tiran. The Southern Red Sea route offers amazing drift diving and big fish action at the Brothers, Elphinstone, and Daedalus. For the more adventurous, the Deep South Route explores that little bit further to St. Johns for pristine diving and stops at Rocky, Zabargad, and Elphinstone.

Good experience
The experience has been very good, I was the only Spaniard on the boat and they have treated me very well, they have been very attentive to me at all times, especially kamal who knows quite well Spanish. The dives are spectacular and the crew is always attentive to help you with the equipment and food in abundance very good.

Good travel with MV Sunlight
Generally, it is worth of the money paid. Boats general conditions are good, general areas and cabins are clean all the time. But especially foods were amazing! Thanks tot he chiefs working hard in that small kitchen.

The dives as well as the life on board was very pleasant. I had a great time, the food was very tasty, a good mix between western and local cuisine. The crew was amazing! They were so attentive and helpful and helped me prepare, before I even knew I might need help. The dive guides were awesome We saw and swam several times with dolphins, a magical time

Very recomendable liveaboard, complete route with beat diving and.guides
Diving was super nice, we did a very complete north route, Hamada, our local guide is super good, he loves what he do and allowed us to enjoy long dives in the best spots, very good guide with lots of patience, also Daria, the other guide, super good and doing her best for us. I find the groups were quite big, another guide would have made it better reducing the amount of divers per group. The staff of the boat were all attentive and doing the best for us, special attention to Mahmoud and the cook who prepared us delicious food

AN INCREDIBLE TRIP
I went on a trip with my brother, it was for me the first life on board and for him, the second. I can say that it was an incredible experience. Although they changed the port of arrival and notified us a week before the ship left, both the company and the crew solved everything perfectly at all times. I want to personally thank the whole crew for how comfortable they make you feel, from the cook, who despite being in the middle of the sea, I can calmly say that he is a barbarian in the kitchen, every day he was amazed with how good everything was. Also Mahmud, the waitress, a 10-year-old guy. Sometimes we got dizzy because of the waves and we didn't have dinner and he always kept some of our dinner just in case we wanted to, super nice and he loves to learn languages in a self-taught way. Also to Hamada, the dive guide, that both the breefings and the dives were incredible, always looking for incredible animals or showing us things that we could overlook as we are not from the area.Overall it was an incredible trip, we saw hammerheads, oceanic whitetip sharks, ovispo rays, turtles to bore and even a whale shark, what more could you ask for?I asked them if I only did the southern route and they said no, they changed, so without a doubt, if I go back to the Red Sea, I will go back with them.

Very positive
I wanted to express my sincere satisfaction with my recent dive cruise with on the Sunlight - St John's. The experience was memorable in many ways.First of all, I would like to highlight the quality of the dive guides. Their professionalism, expertise, and passion for diving have made every trip both safe and memorable. In addition, the atmosphere on board the Sunlight was very pleasant. The crew was very welcoming and attentive to every detail, which helped to create a friendly and relaxing environment. The meals were also delicious and well prepared, providing a great way to eat after each dive.Finally, I would like to thank the entire team for their dedication and commitment to the safety and enjoyment of participants. Great experience for good money
We had a really good time during our 8d/7n trip with the sunlight. The crew is super friendly and anxious 24/7. The food is amazing and fresh and they try to serve all the leftovers from the days before in a new and modern way of cooking. I really love that! Please don't stop this. Diving was great, we did 17 dives at Deadalus, big and small brother, elphinstone, Abu Dabba and Marsa shouna. The guide is really great. He makes diving safe and guards you properly through the red sea. We saw many Longimanus and a silk shark, Mantas, Murray eel and many colorful fish and corals. We did one night dive which was amazing, loved it! Guest were mostly Russians, just 6 European guests (including us). There is a free group transfer from Hurghada Airport (just ask for it via email, otherwise they support you with a private transfer which we payed 60€ for, because flight times didn't fit). The boat itself is not a brand new one but still offers everything you need. Definitely recommended!
