The Bergsund is a 27-meter/89-feet-long small cruise ship taking 12 guests in 6 cabins on adventure cruises in the Arctic. There are 6 double cabins and 5 toilets, and 5 showers. There is a large lounge area with 20 seats and a TV for lessons and lectures. Delicious meals are prepared by a professional chef. The Bergsund’s dedicated dinghy, complete with an experienced driver and guide, takes guests on thrilling adventures. There are multiple itinerary options. Immerse yourself in the thrill of seeking orcas and get up close and personal with these majestic creatures through exhilarating snorkeling excursions. One night, guests will get to listen to the sounds of orcas and humpbacks through the ship’s Hydrophone, provided weather conditions permit. Guests can also increase their knowledge with USEA Lectures led by Orca Expert Pierre Robert de Latour, where they can earn their USEA Certification. Each evening, there is a one-hour lecture on these magnificent creatures.
