Safe, Fun and Personable
The highlights of my trip was definitely all the amazing dives and seeing such a beautiful healthy underwater environment. I also loved visiting a couple hiking locations like Pianemo and the Jellyfish lake! Nice to mix up the diving a bit. All of the boat crew was amazing and friendly and most importantly, I never felt unsafe. Highly recommend!!

Incredible and wonderful
What an incredible trip, having not done a liveaboard before and with only 15 dives under my belt, I was a little apprehensive but the staff were amazing and couldn’t have done more for us. The diving was unforgettable in a good way and we had a great bunch of guest too. Will treasure the experience forever.

Amaya is the GOAT BOAT in Komodo
There are dozens of boats to choose from in Komodo - but Amaya stands out. The new boat is so clean, the staff is warm and welcoming - plus the diving is some of the best in the world. Would love to return in the future, its that good! On Amaya we came as strangers and left as family amongst the staff and crew. Everyone was happy! 1 million stars!!

Wonderful experience with a friendly, well organised crew.
The diving was incredible. The guides and crew took great care of us and our equipment. Organisation of the diving and communication was excellent. The boat itself was well designed, clean and comfortable, with lots of options for resting places between dives. The kitchen crew did a great job preparing delicious meals and snacks. All we had to do was dive, eat, sleep, repeat! A brilliant first liveaboard experience.

Like I said, just a wonderful week. The diving, the people, and the food.
Just a really wonderful 8 days and 7 nights. The diving in Raja is obviously some of the best in the world, but the dive staff on Amaya makes it easy, setting up all the equipment on the dinghies and cleaning everything after each dive. The level of service is very high

Unforgettable tour
The Amaya Explorer is a really nice boat with everything you need. The crew is super friendly and always supportive. The food was great and there were always enough vegetarian options. Thank you Dion for checking and explaining. The dive equipment is the best we had so far. The dives itself were great. We are so happy to see so many colorful corals.

Diving memory for a lifetime!
From pick up to drop off in Sorong, the entire experience was well-organized. Crew and dive guides were professional and experienced, a pleasure to spend time with. Rental dive equipment was top condition, there was plenty of space for getting prepared on the dive deck, wash/rinse stations for cameras, dive computers, etc. Briefings were clear and the actual diving was some of the best I have ever seen. Food & drink services was great, it's amazing what they can put together in that small ship's galley! There were some nice hikes included as part of the experience as the beauty of Raja Ampat is not entirely below water. Crew even helped recover a camera drone which yielded some of the most amazing videos of the islands. Shark Point was also very memorable. The boat itself was well-designed, but some of the rooms apparently had leaks which were sealed with tarps and reportedly would be fixed in the next refit. My cabin had no trouble with this at all during my weeklong liveaboard experience. Once that is fixed, it's a 10/10.
