A great holiday
Third time I come to dive in Komodo and a renewed wonder for what we see underwater: millions of fish and creatures, small and large. First time I do it in Liveaboard version: the feeling of being on a luxury vacation without any mental load, with the staff taking care of strictly everything.

Beyond what we can hope for
We loved everything, the landscapes are breathtaking, the most beautiful dives of our long life as divers: mantas, sharks, turtles, napoleon wrasse, but also pygmy seahorses, nudibranchs, shrimps... and even a marlin for some. A very caring crew, very helpful, a great service on board, a very beautiful and comfortable boat and promoting conviviality. Beautiful encounters on board and in the water. A huge thank you to Amaya!

6 great days in Komodo
It was a great trip. Tons of excellent diving. Crew and dive team made it seamless and easy, always attentive. Good mix of on land activities as well. Group of guests was a lot of fun as well!

Amazing experience with Amaya Explorer
We've loved our overall experience with Amaya. The boat is relatively new (built in 2019) and it was very comfortable. It would make a great choice also if you had a non-diver with you as there's plenty of space where to sunbathe or just chill. We chose the Upper Deck Suite. It was very clean and it made a perfect choice for this trip as we've had some long navigation at times. Our dive guide was very prepared and we felt very comfortable with him. Throughout the whole diving preparation process we've received great assistance from the crew. You basically just get into your wetsuit and the rest is done for you. Food on board, as well as other services, were impeccable. We'll definitely choose Amaya again in the future.

Awesome first live aboard experience
I really enjoyed this trip in Komodo. The scenery is spectacular and it was a privilege to see a Komodo dragon. The Amaya is a beautiful boat, plenty of shady spots on deck to read and relax between dives (or sun yourself if you wish). The staff were awesome - so friendly and helpful. The food was great - I can’t believe the quality and variety produced in that little galley. We had a couple of special dinners on the deck that were wonderful. The diving that I managed to do was very enjoyable (sadly a cold interfered and I missed some dives) - our dive guide Wilson was excellent and helped us keep the dives appropriate for our skill level. I would love to go back and visit Raja with the Amaya crew one day. Thank you to you all!

Seamless and incredible experience
The liveaboard experience with Amaya was unforgettable. The incredible teamwork and coordination between the crew created a very friendly, seamless and attentive environment that made me feel very taken care of, especially with the amazing food and beverage service throughout the trip. The professional dive guides were trustworthy and flexible, allowing me to have an incredible and unrestricted diving experience. The cabin and boat deck were also high-quality and very comfortable, making for amazing lounging and socialising between dives.

Awesome crew with a great sense of humor and service attitude; always tasty food and a warm towel waiting with a smile for us after diving; amazing vibes throughout the week below and above water with tons of fun! The most amazing liveaboard
I‘m not exaggerating when I say this Liveaboard is one of a kind. We had such a great time. The diving in Raja Ampat is exceptional. It is very well organized from pick up over excursions (which all have been great) and the drop off at the airport. The team of Amaya makes sure that you feel welcome and their service is 5 star level. The amenities onboard and the food with different dinner styles every day were amazing. Rental gear is also top notch. Thank you for that awesome week onboard.
