Professional guides, great diving, ok boat
Great diving and not a bad boat. Our cabin was not as nice as some of the others in the same category, so a bit of inconsistencies. Guides are professional. Be prepared to dive with strong currents

Nice Christmas trip!
The best dives compensate the ones not so good. The dive guide Abdul was amazing. The Ross and Kate made the minimum effort for the comfort of guests, professionals but not great engagement with everyone.

Emperor explorer
The liveaboard itself was always very clean & cozy. The food was amazing and the kitchen made sure there was a variety of things for the people with allergies etc. We had the bad luck that there were problems with the engine. We stayed much longer than planned in Rasdhoo, which is why we didn’t cover the whole plan and best dive sites. They “fixed” this problem by transferring us to Emperor Serenity. Great boat, but not what I booked. No whale sharks were seen on this trip, whilst that is what made me book it… in the description it really seemed as if they were on look out for them. I know wild life isn’t guaranteed, but I also know captains and crew have connections to get us in the correct direction. My group’s dive guid, Muaz, was excellent, just as I can recall for some others. Let’s just say; you’ll always have better ones on dive trips.

Unforgettable Dive Adventure
This was my first liveaboard experience, and I'm so glad I went with Emperor Explorer! The boat was in awesome shape, the crew were super friendly and helpful, and the food was seriously tasty. But what really made it special was the focus on diving! We had 20 dives in total, which is three more than most other boats offer. Dive Director Emma was amazing—she's the most experienced and caring dive pro I've ever met. From her first briefing, we felt totally safe, and by the end of the trip, we were all big fans. Plus, I made some great friends along the way. Can't wait to hop on board with the Emperor fleet again for more adventures!

fantastic
The crew service is excellent. The dive guides are very professional. It's very comfortable to be able to shower after each dive. The dive boat is spacious and comfortable. The rooms are large and comfortable, and the bathroom space is also ample. The public areas are luxurious, clean, and comfortable.

Incredible trip to Deep South
Deep South Maldives - if you wanna see sharks this is the SPOT. Only downside is beach bbq is advertised, this is not the case Deep South, this is a central itinerary (i did Leo central prior to south). 4 dives a day which was excellent, be prepared this is a channel heavy trip, so if you want macro maybe stick to central. Fish factory was INCREDIBLE - hundreds of sharks everywhere, several species on a single dive. No hidden fees which was awesome. We had Charlie as our guide and she was spectacular. Would return, 10/10. Boat manager was a bit odd , we asked if we could do the manta cleaning station twice and he was somewhat passive aggressive about it, but we got the whole boat on board and we lucked out and saw 8 mantas at any given time. First day is basically check dives, but it's smart given the heavy current throughout the trip.
