An amazing first liveaboard experience
What an amazing trip! It was my first liveaboard and I’m not sure how I will ever top this trip. The entire crew was amazing and held safety to the highest standard. The dive guides/boat crew were attentive and knew the dive sites very well. The food was delicious and plentiful. The rooms were much more spacious than anticipated and the dive dhoni was very spacious as well, making getting to each dive site very comfortable. The dive sites were amazing, lots of sharks and mantas! From the initial pick up at the airport till the very end of the trip things were efficient, organized, and easy. Thank you to the Aggressor II for an amazing trip.

Best liveaboard experience
The Aggressor came highly recommended, and now I know why. I would absolutely plan to dive with them again in other locations. Their end to end customer experience was superb - from the initial online communication to the logistics of the return to shore (and everything in between). I also felt the dive crew and operations took special care to ensure we saw the exciting stuff -- while keeping safety #1. This is a great liveabaord if you are looking for quality, service and experience.

Recommend Staying on the liveaboard the whole 7 days. Don’t do the tour.
Highlights were the Nurse Sharks behaving like puppies around us, Night dive with Manta Rays, and 5 different types of sharks at the Shark Tank. Some bad things were out of their control like the weather hurting visibility. Some days very clear and other days not so great, but even the not so clear days were amazing sites and were incredible despite the visibility. Just reflecting at the end of the trip about those dives if they were actually clear. One bad thing was the land tour on the last day. I don’t know why it took so long to go on the tour because we finished all the dives and had to wait another 5 hours before going on the tour. And when we went we were left with someone not from the liveaboard, took us to an overpriced souvenir shop of course then to a very sketchy restaurant that had $30 instant noodles and $17 shakes. We couldn’t go to the fish market and we’re late to the stingrays by the reef. It would’ve been better to be shown the city by a crew member or let us explore by ourselves. I didn’t feel safe around our guide. There were other people who were on our liveaboard that didn’t go on the tour, they’ve said they did it before, I should have listened to their comments and stay on the liveaboard with them and had lamp chops and beef tenderloins. On the last day I’d skip the day tour next time and enjoy the hot tub. One other odd thing was there is an extra charge for the Wi-Fi, I had no idea before booking. One super cool thing though was being able to fish at the back of the boat. One of us had a fishing pole and caught a fish every other day. The Chef took that fish and made sashimi for us all the time. It makes me want to take a fishing pole the next liveaboard so I can fish while waiting for the next dive. It was always a crowd pleaser when he caught one. The whole boat cheered him on even if it was a small fish. To sum it up I’d definitely recommend this trip, but change it up on the last day.

An Unforgettable Diving Experience on The Aggressor, Maldives
My recent trip aboard The Aggressor in the Maldives was an experience I’ll cherish forever. From the moment I stepped on board, the crew welcomed me with warm smiles and unparalleled hospitality, setting the tone for what was to be a remarkable journey. The crew members were the heart and soul of The Aggressor. They went above and beyond to ensure that every guest felt valued and cared for. Their attention to detail, friendly demeanor, and constant availability made a significant difference in our daily experience. They weren’t just staff; they became like family, always there to share a laugh, offer assistance, or provide insights into the Maldivian way of life. Culinary delights awaited at every meal. The chef on board was a magician in the kitchen, crafting delicious dishes that catered to a variety of tastes and dietary requirements. Every meal was a feast, with a perfect blend of international cuisine and local flavors, ensuring a delightful culinary journey throughout the stay. The accommodations on The Aggressor were beyond my expectations. The rooms were not only spacious but also immaculately clean and well-maintained, offering a haven to relax after a day full of diving adventures. The thoughtful amenities and comfortable furnishings in each room added to the overall luxurious feel of the liveaboard. Diving with The Aggressor was an absolute thrill. The dive guides were exceptional, possessing deep knowledge of the Maldives’ underwater world. Before each dive, they provided thorough briefings, explaining the dive site’s topography, the marine life we might encounter, and safety protocols. Their expertise and dedication to safety were evident, ensuring that every dive was not only enjoyable but also secure. Under their guidance, we explored breathtaking reefs, witnessed the vibrant marine life, and even had encounters with manta rays. My time on The Aggressor was nothing short of spectacular. It was a perfect blend of adventure, relaxation, and luxury. I left with a heart full of memories and a deep appreciation for the crew’s efforts to make my experience so special. I would highly recommend The Aggressor to anyone looking for an unforgettable diving adventure in the Maldives.

A real taste of the variety of dive sites in the Maldives
Some really nice dives with sharks and some great manta ray encounters. I would note that many of the dive profiles on this trip are challenging due to depth and current. But the briefings were very helpful and none of the dives felt over the top. There were a couple of disappointments when expected creatures didn't show up but that is the way of life in the ocean.
