Highlights
Nusantara liveaboard is a 20 m-long (65-feet-long) traditional Indonesian vessel offering divers and guests a unique experience to Komodo while keeping things simple and easy. Taking up to 12 passengers, Nusantara accommodates guests in a dorm cabin sleeping 8 with all beds having privacy curtains, fans, and power sockets available. A further 4 mattresses allow guests to sleep on deck under the stars, enjoying cool night breezes. There are also 2 shared bathrooms onboard. Nusantara has a spacious dive deck area to gear up and enter the water for diving. On the top deck is a large sun deck with bean bags, perfect for relaxing between dives or simply enjoying the surroundings.
Offering different trips between 2-4 nights throughout Komodo, Nusantara offers simple, quick, and easy dive trips to get divers to famous dive spots in Komodo, where they can get between 9-15 dives per trip. Visiting well-known dive sites such as Manta Point, Batu Bolong, or muck diving at Wainilu.

Great experience! Will be back for more.
4 days - 12 dives, each dive site was unique and a fabulous experience. Our guides were experienced and knew the sites well. We were briefed clearly pre dive. All the crew were helpful and attentive. The hikes were a welcome change of pace and fun! We had a great group on board that made it even more pleasant. The accomodation was comfortbale although the cabin was warm despite the fans. The food was plentiful and dietary requirements catered for. There were many highlights during the dives, but overall to see the reef so vibrant and healthy every dive site was great, and there were never crowds at sites, it was very well managed.

It was our first liveabaord and the first time we were diving in Komodo. We are not experienced divers but we really felt safe and we did enjoy every moment even it was « sportive » dives. The manta dance for almost all our dive was an amazing experience. Also, the shut gun was something aha. We had a nice crew too so it did help for the experience overall!

Amazing Komodo trip
The diving sites in Komodo are amazing. Our guides did. A really good job of showing us beautiful things in a professional and safe manner. The boat crew was very good. The food as well. Would definitely book again with Mikumba diving. Very good value for money.

Best part of our trip to Indonesia
This was my first liveabord and absolutely blew my expectations out of the water. The ship was comfortable, the crew was outstanding, and the food was some of the best food I've had on the trip. Other than that the dive sites were fantastic. We had Illham as a guide and he knew the areas so well and was fantastic about pointing things out. Komodo Island was very cool too. If I was ever lucky enough to come back to Bajo I would book with the same crew!

An absolutely fantastic experience
The Nusantara live-aboard in Indonesia was an absolutely fantastic experience. The food on board was delicious, with a great variety of local and international dishes that catered to all tastes. The diving was incredibly interesting and enjoyable - we saw so many amazing marine creatures that I had never seen before. The trip to Komodo National Park to see the Komodo dragons was a real highlight as well. The crew on the Nusantara were all incredibly friendly and helpful. They were very professional and knowledgeable, especially the experienced dive guides who led us on incredible dives to see the vibrant underwater landscapes and diverse marine life. The entire crew went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing and memorable time. Overall, I would highly recommend the Nusantara live-aboard to anyone looking for an unforgettable dive adventure in Indonesia. The combination of great food, excellent diving, and outstanding service made this one of the best travel experiences I've ever had. I can't wait to return someday!

Epic trip!
We had the best 4 days on Nusantara- a beautiful boat with everything you need. Brilliant staff, delicious food (massive portions), incredible diving and an overall excellent trip. Komodo National Park was amazing.

An exceptional cruise, beyond my expectations!The boat was great, I chose to sleep on deck: a magical experience under the stars (little advice: if you are cold, bring a good sweater 😉). Those who slept in dormitories also slept very well — the beds are super comfortable.The food on board? A flawless performance. Delicious, varied, and always served with a smile. Everything is designed so that we can enjoy it to the fullest.In terms of atmosphere, it was just perfect: a team of travelers in their thirties, all with the same state of mind. Moments of sharing, laughter, relaxation, and above all... unforgettable dives.The seabed of Komodo is incredibly rich. Manta rays, sharks, turtles, multicolored corals... I experienced in 3 days some of the most beautiful dives of my life. Some dives were technical, with current, but always in total safety thanks to a team of ultra pro Dive Masters.And that's where I want to emphasize: the team makes all the difference. The boat crew is adorable, taking care of them from morning to night. And the diving team? A nugget. Perfect knowledge of the sites, always smiling, reassuring, passionate. We feel supervised, listened to, in total confidence.So yes, it's a budget cruise, but the service is far from small. Quite the contrary.Thank you from the bottom of my heart to the whole team.
