Highlights
Nusantara liveaboard is a 20 m-long (65-feet-long) traditional Indonesian vessel offering divers and guests a unique experience to Komodo while keeping things simple and easy. Taking up to 12 passengers, Nusantara accommodates guests in a dorm cabin sleeping 8 with all beds having privacy curtains, fans, and power sockets available. A further 4 mattresses allow guests to sleep on deck under the stars, enjoying cool night breezes. There are also 2 shared bathrooms onboard. Nusantara has a spacious dive deck area to gear up and enter the water for diving. On the top deck is a large sun deck with bean bags, perfect for relaxing between dives or simply enjoying the surroundings.
Offering different trips between 2-4 nights throughout Komodo, Nusantara offers simple, quick, and easy dive trips to get divers to famous dive spots in Komodo, where they can get between 9-15 dives per trip. Visiting well-known dive sites such as Manta Point, Batu Bolong, or muck diving at Wainilu.

Best value liveaboard experience
I did the 3D2N Komodo liveaboard, and loved every minute. The boat is comfortable and has good common areas to relax. I slept on the upper deck, which had a nice breeze and beautiful view of the stars. It felt like camping at sea. The dive guides were very professional and accommodated beginner and experienced divers. Very good dive briefings, safety first. They were also conscious of avoiding crowds, both for the Komodo dragon trek and for the dives, which made everything a better experience. Thank you to the whole Mikumba team!

An amazing experience
Value for money wise this can’t be beaten. The dive guides are extremely friendly & professional and are always putting the customers first. The diving itself is truly world class in Komodo National park and you will get to do all of the famous sites such as Shotgun, Batu Balong, Crystal Rock etc. The boat is relatively small, but well maintained and comfortable. The sleeping areas are fairly basic but perfectly fine for a short 3 day trip. The food is amazing and there’s plenty of it. I would highly recommend this trip to anybody

Most diverse diving…..locations, marine life and techniques.
Highlights were the Manta dives and the Komodo Dragon walk. Overall experience was very professional. Crew was safe conscious, friendly and knowledgeable.

Christmas Fun in Komodo
It was a great experience. The boat is small and could use some more shade, but the rest was exceptional. We had a medical issue with one guest, but the crew was super helpful and handled the situation great. The dives were awesome, so much life underwater, I loved it.

Amazing liveaboard, beginner- and solo traveller friendly
Had an amazing 4 days at Nusantara with Mikumba diving. The boat is very basic, but has everything you need. The food was very good and there is so much variety, each meal was different but delicious! The boat crew is so incredibly friendly and helpfull. The rental gear is of perfect quality. The diveguides were very professional and gave extensive briefings of the dive site. I’m still a beginner diver but the briefings made me feel very prepared and comfortable. The divesites are phenomenal and the guides really take all the conditions in consideration. There was flexibility to change the planning to try to give us the best experience. I would definitely reccomend this to everyone. Still sad that it’s over already.

Best Liveaboard ever
I just loved everything about the trip. I am a solo traveller and this was the best experience because i met so many other solo travellers on that trip. The whole crew, dive masters and other guests were just amazing people. We even had a Dinner back at Labuan Bajo to celebrate the whole trip.

Most incredible experience!
I loved every bit of my trip on Nusantara. The crew were absolutely amazing - always helpful, taking extra care of us, expert on the dive sights, providing us with delicious food and refreshments. The diving was incredible - such life on the coral and great sightings. Seeing the Komodo dragons was great, and the sunset hike was beautiful. The fun, young and experienced other guests were an added bonus! Thank you all!

They took great care of us.
Overall it has been a great experience for my first liveaboard trip. Komodo national offers great dives at a fantastic temperature. The diver-guide ratio was max 3 to 1 and they distributed well the skill levels between the groups.

Best diving experience I ever had! The crew was amazing and elevated the whole experience to another level. Komodo is a great place for diving, and the boat is very comfortable to live on for multiple days. Hope to be able to come back in the future!
