Nusantara liveaboard is a 20 m-long (65-feet-long) traditional Indonesian vessel offering divers and guests a unique experience to Komodo while keeping things simple and easy. Taking up to 12 passengers, Nusantara accommodates guests in a dorm cabin sleeping 8 with all beds having privacy curtains, fans, and power sockets available. A further 4 mattresses allow guests to sleep on deck under the stars, enjoying cool night breezes. There are also 2 shared bathrooms onboard. Nusantara has a spacious dive deck area to gear up and enter the water for diving. On the top deck is a large sun deck with bean bags, perfect for relaxing between dives or simply enjoying the surroundings.

Offering different trips between 2-4 nights throughout Komodo, Nusantara offers simple, quick, and easy dive trips to get divers to famous dive spots in Komodo, where they can get between 9-15 dives per trip. Visiting well-known dive sites such as Manta Point, Batu Bolong, or muck diving at Wainilu.

Unforgettable Honeymoon Trip – Expert Crew & Incredible Diving We spent 4 days and 3 nights on the Nusantara with Mikumba Diving, and it was easily a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Being here for our honeymoon made it special, but the Nusantara staff made it world-class. The Highlights: • The Crew: Truly exceptional. They handle everything—from assembling your gear to helping you with your fins before you jump. You barely have to lift a finger. • The Diving: Our dive masters were experts at navigating the conditions. We had about a 60/40 split of heavy current vs. non-current dives. • Conditions: In early April, visibility ranged from 25m down to 10–15m. The team was great at explaining how the sites and visibility shift (Central vs. North) depending on the season. • Life on Board: The food was awesome with a huge variety. Between dives, the upstairs beanbag area is the ultimate place to relax. • The Bunks: Sleeping quarters can get warm, but there are fans in every bunk and portholes in the top bunks for airflow. We will remember this trip forever—not just because of the beautiful locations, but because of the incredible Nusantara team. If you’re heading to Komodo, this is the way to do it!

Amazing Liveaboard Experience with Mikumba Diving!
I recently joined a liveaboard trip with Mikumba Diving, and it was truly an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The boat crew were friendly, professional, and attentive to every detail. They made sure we were comfortable, safe, and well taken care of throughout the trip. The dive guides were outstanding! They are knowledgeable, patient, and deeply passionate about the marine life. Each dive was well-briefed and thoughtfully planned, allowing us to enjoy the underwater world to the fullest. We saw incredible biodiversity and always felt in good hands. A special shout-out to the cook for the amazing meals, which were a highlight of the trip in itself. Overall, Mikumba Diving exceeded all expectations. Salla was an incredible team leader & really made us feel special. The food was outstanding. The captain & boat crew were exceptional! They truly made the trip wonderful- making our beds, getting our dive gear ready & taking care of all the details! They even put our fins on for us! They were incredible! 4 days - 12 dives, each dive site was unique and a fabulous experience. Our guides were experienced and knew the sites well. We were briefed clearly pre dive. All the crew were helpful and attentive. The hikes were a welcome change of pace and fun! We had a great group on board that made it even more pleasant. The accomodation was comfortbale although the cabin was warm despite the fans. The food was plentiful and dietary requirements catered for. There were many highlights during the dives, but overall to see the reef so vibrant and healthy every dive site was great, and there were never crowds at sites, it was very well managed.

Incredible!!!
My first liveaboard and Mikumba diving have got me addicted. Don't be put off by the small dive centre as the dive guides, crew, boat and food were all outstanding and a very reasonable price. 12 dives in 4 days plus seeing Komodo dragons and hiking on Padar Island. So much life and some fun currents. Dive guides extremely knowledgeable and really focused on your safety and having fun! Would highly recommend. Thanks to Sallah, Faldez, Hans and all the crew for helping make incredible memories.

Brilliant budget liveaboard
Highly recommend this brilliant liveaboard! The crew were incredibly helpful and friendly throughout our trip and the food was delicious. The dives themselves were awesome - we felt very safe with the guides (Sahril and Faldes) and the equipment was all in good condition, they also catered well to divers of different levels and adjusted dive groups according to air consumption. All the dives and land excursions during the trip were timed so we were the only group there which was an added bonus. During the trip we slept on the upper deck and it was very comfortable, the bunk beds downstairs were large and comfortable as well. Fantastic value for money!

Sleeping under the stars
We did the 4D/3N tour and have been sleeping on the star deck. I took the best naps and had an amazing sleep these 4 days! The hospitality & friendliness of the crew was top notch. Also the knowledge and experience of our dive guide was amazing. She was taking good care of us and we felt great under her wing. The equipment was new and well maintained. There was always more than enough food and it was served quickly. We made a trip to Komodo Island and one sunset hike which has been a lovely addition to the diving. We would definitely recommend this Liveaboard! It was the perfect first Liveaboard experience for us.

This was one of the best experiences of my life! Cannot wait to do another.
Nusantara LiveAboard 4d, 3n. 100/10 experience. I was excited for this but it STILL blew my mind. The diving was phenomenal, the crew was so lovely, the boat was really charming and comfy, the food was great. We loved sleeping on the deck but even the people sleeping in the bunks said it wasn't too hot. The dive guides were very knowledgeable on the dive sites and very safety conscious. We felt well taken care of. I will be back and bring my family AND my friends! Rian was our dive guide and he was kind, caring and knowledgeable.

The crew set a really friendly and warm tone on the boat and were so helpful in every way. The food was excellent and plentiful. An absolutely fantastic experience
The Nusantara live-aboard in Indonesia was an absolutely fantastic experience. The food on board was delicious, with a great variety of local and international dishes that catered to all tastes. The diving was incredibly interesting and enjoyable - we saw so many amazing marine creatures that I had never seen before. The trip to Komodo National Park to see the Komodo dragons was a real highlight as well. The crew on the Nusantara were all incredibly friendly and helpful. They were very professional and knowledgeable, especially the experienced dive guides who led us on incredible dives to see the vibrant underwater landscapes and diverse marine life. The entire crew went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing and memorable time. Overall, I would highly recommend the Nusantara live-aboard to anyone looking for an unforgettable dive adventure in Indonesia. The combination of great food, excellent diving, and outstanding service made this one of the best travel experiences I've ever had. I can't wait to return someday!
