Nusantara liveaboard is a 20 m-long (65-feet-long) traditional Indonesian vessel offering divers and guests a unique experience to Komodo while keeping things simple and easy. Taking up to 12 passengers, Nusantara accommodates guests in a dorm cabin sleeping 8 with all beds having privacy curtains, fans, and power sockets available. A further 4 mattresses allow guests to sleep on deck under the stars, enjoying cool night breezes. There are also 2 shared bathrooms onboard. Nusantara has a spacious dive deck area to gear up and enter the water for diving. On the top deck is a large sun deck with bean bags, perfect for relaxing between dives or simply enjoying the surroundings.

Offering different trips between 2-4 nights throughout Komodo, Nusantara offers simple, quick, and easy dive trips to get divers to famous dive spots in Komodo, where they can get between 9-15 dives per trip. Most diverse diving…..locations, marine life and techniques.
Highlights were the Manta dives and the Komodo Dragon walk. Overall experience was very professional. Crew was safe conscious, friendly and knowledgeable.

An amazing experience
Value for money wise this can’t be beaten. The dive guides are extremely friendly & professional and are always putting the customers first. The diving itself is truly world class in Komodo National park and you will get to do all of the famous sites such as Shotgun, Batu Balong, Crystal Rock etc. The boat is relatively small, but well maintained and comfortable. The sleeping areas are fairly basic but perfectly fine for a short 3 day trip. The food is amazing and there’s plenty of it. I would highly recommend this trip to anybody

Awesome value, great trip
We had an awesome trip, the crew was really lovely and friendly, really well fed and great tasting food. The dive sights were stunning and most weren’t to crowded. Sleeping upstairs on the deck was a highlight. Would 100% recommend, awesome value for money.

The most sensational diving experience!!
A truely sensational experience! The crew were awesome, highly professional, knowledgeable and organised. You feel at ease knowing you’re in safe hands. The diving was amazing - beautifully vibrant coral gardens, huge diversity of marine life big and small (Giant mantas, dolphins, sharks) The boat was clean, food quality fantastic.

Amazing, once in a lifetime experience.

An unforgettable experience
It was certainly one of the best experiences ever. We saw documentary places, with thousands of beautiful colorful fish and corals. The food on board was extremely good and varied. The crew made the stay really comfortable and enjoyable. The guides were very prepared, even with the dives in strong currents they made everything clear and incredible. In addition, the group that was created with the travel companions was really a plus!

Mantas, monitor lizards and a great time!
An overall great experience, especially for the relatively low price. The combination of diving and two shore excursions – Komodo dragons and sunset hike – was successful. The manta rays at several dive sites were unforgettable, and the dive guides did a great job, paying attention to safety and detailed briefings. Food top! The only minus point: In the dorm on the lower deck it was often warm and stuffy despite fans. Nevertheless, absolutely recommended!

An absolutely fantastic experience
The Nusantara live-aboard in Indonesia was an absolutely fantastic experience. The food on board was delicious, with a great variety of local and international dishes that catered to all tastes. The diving was incredibly interesting and enjoyable - we saw so many amazing marine creatures that I had never seen before. The trip to Komodo National Park to see the Komodo dragons was a real highlight as well. The crew on the Nusantara were all incredibly friendly and helpful. They were very professional and knowledgeable, especially the experienced dive guides who led us on incredible dives to see the vibrant underwater landscapes and diverse marine life. The entire crew went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing and memorable time. Overall, I would highly recommend the Nusantara live-aboard to anyone looking for an unforgettable dive adventure in Indonesia. The combination of great food, excellent diving, and outstanding service made this one of the best travel experiences I've ever had. I can't wait to return someday!

Brilliant budget liveaboard
Highly recommend this brilliant liveaboard! The crew were incredibly helpful and friendly throughout our trip and the food was delicious. The dives themselves were awesome - we felt very safe with the guides (Sahril and Faldes) and the equipment was all in good condition, they also catered well to divers of different levels and adjusted dive groups according to air consumption. All the dives and land excursions during the trip were timed so we were the only group there which was an added bonus. During the trip we slept on the upper deck and it was very comfortable, the bunk beds downstairs were large and comfortable as well. Fantastic value for money!

Excellent affordable liveaboard in Komodo
Would absolutely recommend diving from the Nusantara, I had a great Komodo tour with them. The staff is excellent, taking absolutely everything out of your hands and letting you focus just on the diving. The dive guides were really passionate and showed us a lot of great marine life. They also take good care of safety, i.e. by checking in regularly on me after I had some equalizing problems on one dive. The boat staff kept the boat in impeccably clean condition and made us great food. The liveaboard is quite affordable, because the facilities are not super luxurious: it is basically a floating hostel for divers. If you are looking for more luxury another boat might be better. But for me, I was more than happy with the value for money! The one thing they could improve is a bit more transparency in the pricing upfront. The park fee is quite steep (and it was not communicated clearly that the price of 300k was per day, and not per trip) and there was a fuel surcharge after booking. I would have preferred everything to be included in the price upfront.

A wonderful experience!
The guides make their outmost best to provide great dives in the best dive spots in complete safety. The guides are indeed very expert and have good knowledge of the sites. The boat crew took good care of all the rest, from the diving gear to tidying up the decks and even our beds. Last but not least, the food was just amazing, with a lot of variety, big portions for big hungers, and good quality and taste. Probably the best food had since traveling in Indonesia.

Unbelievable diving experience
I spent 4 days and 3 nights on board the Nusantara with Mikumbu Diving and the whole experience was perfect from start to finish. The boat and crew were all excellent, and my dive guide Hans, was brilliant. All the dives were really well briefed, I loved the little dive site drawings on the white board, and felt safe on all the dives. The land based trips for the Komodo dragons and a sunset walk were also really great additions. The food was class, really above my expectations of what was possible to prepare on a little boat, and various dietary requirements for people on board were all catered for well. The sleeping cabin is on the cosy side, but after a day of diving its perfectly possible to sleep well, there are portholes to let fresh, cooler air in. There's a nice spot on top with bean bags to chill out on, or an area below for some shade. The equipment was all pretty new and in very good condition. And the dive sites are world class!

Amazing Liveaboard on Nusantara
I have been on a 4 days and 3 nights liveaboard with Mikumba diving on the boat Nusantara. This experience was amazing, the dive crew is so nice, very experienced and we had a lot of fun with them. They are very good guides, they perfectly know the sites and will share their knowledges with pleasure. Big shoutout to Gavur who was my guide on this trip. The boat on itself is perfect for four days, with good places to chill, the dorm is very confortable. The boat crew is amazing as well, always here to help you and trying to make your trip as perfect as possible. The food is excellent; very fresh and varied. I highly recommend this liveaboard, I had wonderful time and I would definitely go back with them

Amazing experience! Highly recommend!
Absolutely incredible!!! The diving was amazing. The dive masters were very knowledgeable, safe, kind, and fun. The crew was so amazing and proactive. The food and snacks were delicious. We had a fun, busy schedule of dives every day and would relax on the bean bags in the sun between dives! We also went to see the Komodo Dragons at Rinca island early in the morning so we were some of the only people there which was very smart. And we did a sunset hike! My boat was 8 solo travelers and two couples mainly in their 20s and 30s which was perfect. We all had lots of fun together!!

Nusantara LiveAboard 4d, 3n. 100/10 experience. I was excited for this but it STILL blew my mind. The diving was phenomenal, the crew was so lovely, the boat was really charming and comfy, the food was great. We loved sleeping on the deck but even the people sleeping in the bunks said it wasn't too hot. The dive guides were very knowledgeable on the dive sites and very safety conscious. We felt well taken care of. I will be back and bring my family AND my friends! Rian was our dive guide and he was kind, caring and knowledgeable.

Amazing diving in Komodo
Highly recommend Nunsatara and Mikumba Diving for your diving liveaboard in Komodo. The trip was short which was great as it fit into our travel plans and budget, but it hit all the dive spot highlights and got to do an awesome land tour on Rinca island to see Komodo dragons. The boat staff were AMAZING, food was plentiful and delicious, guides were fantastic, equipment rental was easy and worked well. Would definitely dive with Mikumba team again!

4 days of incredible diving!
Nusantara was an amazing diving experience. 4 days packed to the brim of diving and activities (including hiking, national park visits, snorkeling and more!) All of the crew were incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and supportive. They helped make the experience go very smoothly and helped with all the gear! Cristian, Thalib and Sahril were particularly amazing and I was very grateful for their continuous good vibes and expert knowledge throughout the trip! The boat itself was perfect for the number of guests - including decent bathrooms, great rooftop sunbaking area and communal eating area I think this tour attracts a friendly crowd too. By the end of the tour we were all amazing mates :) Very much worth it!

Incredible 3D2N trip through Komodo NP, with all 9 dives offering something spectacular. The guides were super competent and instructive. The crew were amazing - prepping dive gear, cleaning up, and cooking yummy meals at all times.
