Built in Sulawesi, which is considered the “boatyard” of Indonesia, Jelajahi Laut is a beautiful phinisi boat constructed in 2021 with local teak wood and ironwood, ready to take you to the hottest dive spots in Indonesia. Jelajahi Laut means “Explore the Sea,” which is exactly what she delivers with expeditions to Komodo, Raja Ampat, Banda Islands, Alor, and Ambon, just to name a few. This traditional phinisi was designed by divers, optimizing the comforts for diver guests with a spacious equipment area and camera station, where you can gear up and prepare for your underwater adventure.
With 6 comfortable cabins onboard, Jelajahi Laut offers an intimate dive cruise for up to 14 guests with a sense of adventure, who appreciate exploring not just the popular dive sites but also some of the remote islands, local villages, and new dive sites. With a small, local team of dedicated boat crew and dive guides, the staff onboard Jelajahi Laut will invite you as part of their family, introducing you to their home in the Indonesian archipelago. Great 7day/ 6 night trip in Raja! Would do it again with this crew!
Amazing diving! Top notch crew and dive guides, plenty of food, comfortable cabins, lots of space on the boat for relaxing. Safety was the top priority with a briefing for the boat on day one and dive briefings before each dive. Accommodates up to 14 guests, which was the perfect sizer for me. Chef prepared great meals with a bounty at each sitting! Eric and Camie are top notch cruise directors and the staff was warm, welcoming, and great to hang out with.

Best, liveaboard experience ever
Everything about this trip was fantastic. The crew really made it special with everything from amazing service and taking care of us to the absolutely phenomenal food and being able to spend some moments with the crew and the captain playing the guitar and them singing our excursions and the barbecue They set up for us on the beach was breathtaking. We got rained on but it was still amazing... A truly spectacular trip

Excellent - This is a 1st class operation.
Manta Ridge - (15) mantas came in to be cleaned and were within (2) meters of the group. Playing chess with the crew was cool too.

Fantastic Liveaboard with outstanding staff
Incredible coral and sea life, dives were not only beautiful but diverse with a night dive and some exciting current dives. We dove with our children for the first time and the lead dive guide was able to make us all comfortable and safe. The food was very good and plentiful, and the views from our on board room were unforgettable.

Fantastic
My husband and I just finished a 10 day/9 night diving trip aboard the Jelajahi Laut with Mikumba Diving. It was our first big liveaboard trip and the experience was superb. Staff was fantastic. Everyone is so friendly and good humored and they worked incredibly hard to make sure we had a blast while keeping safety as their highest priority. The boat is beautiful and spacious, dive deck is dialed, bed was comfortable, and food is good. The Sea View cabin is glorious and absolutely worth the upgrade with its panoramic views and private balcony. I wouldn’t hesitate to book this operator again on a return trip.

Wonderful 6 days of diving in and around Komodo National Park
The mix of land activities and diving, ensuring we didn’t miss one highlight of Komodo National Park (such as Padar, Rinca, flying foxes or any of the best dive sites). The talented crew doing a sunset jam session was so much fun too!

Amazing experience
Dives sites were great, dive guides and instructors were amazing and very friendly, thank you @Salla, Abda and Hans! Very friendly environment for snorkels too! Excursions were perfect and we got to see some incredible places and views. Food was always very tasty and different, I wonder how the chef managed to cook so well in a tiny kitchen and limited ingredients. The rest of the crew was so nice too, all very friendly, always ready to help and to have a chat with. We even got the opportunity to watch them sing and playing instruments. So in the end the trip was great if not perfect. Nothing to complain about but on the contrary it felt like every little detail was carefully thought to give to all the guests the best experience possible. Every day is packed with lots of activities for a quite schedule but there’s always a bit of time to chill and just enjoy the sceneries passing by. Highly recommended trip!
