Completely renovated in 2015, the Vita Xplorer liveaboard offers exciting year-round dive safaris in the Red Sea. The spacious dive deck is located at the back of the boat and has ample space for kitting up and gear storage. Itineraries explore some of the best Red Sea dive areas and include tours to Ras Mohammed marine park to dive the Thistlegorm, Abu Nuhas, and stunning reefs of Shark & Yolanda, as well as the popular Brothers, Daedalus & Elphinstone (BDE) route for the chance of some pelagic life action.
Topside, the Vita Xplorer yacht caters to 24 divers in 12 cabins + 1 instructor cabin. Each cabin features AC and private en-suite bathrooms. There are 8 twin cabins and 2 doubles on the lower deck and 2 twins plus 1 suite with a double bed on the main deck. A large meeting room (games, library, TV, DVD, video player, and stereo system) and an open-plan lounge area with an entertainment system and AC are on the upper deck. Various freshly prepared local dishes and Western cuisine are served buffet style, and dietary requirements can be catered to with advance notice. Too many troubles and issues for one week liveaboard
In my opinion, Covid-19 countermeasures on the boat were very poor. One of the guests had high fever for 2 days and was not isolated. After returning home, I tested positive to Covid-19 (my test was done on the day of return). Luckily, I had quite mild symptoms, now recovering after 10 days quarantine. During the first 2 nights, extreme strong diesel gasoline smell in my room and in the rooms of my neighbors on the main deck. This boat is mainly oriented towards French market. This means, if you are planning to communicate while onboard with other guests, learn French first (8 French divers did not speak or did not want to speak any other language - English, German, Spanish, Croatian were options). For me it is clear: never again Vita Xplorer.

I will come back to the Red Sea
I enjoy a lot in this trip with the people (divers). I didn't like the way to manage the tip at the end of the trip, open envelopes and 2 envelopes, one for the dive guide and the other for the rest of the crew. In fact the dive guide ask me about the quantity that I gave (40€ like your web recommended) because he expected 60€. I think the tip must be confidential, only one enevelope per customer and no 2 open evelopes for all the customers. Merry Xmas

Great times
Great experience with Vita Xplorer. Amazing diving, professional and friendly dive guides Hamada and Sambu. We well taken care of by the crew! From cooking and serving us tasty meals, cleanliness of the boat and cabins to helping us on the diving platform and giving us Zodiac rides to and from dive sites. This was our first liveaboard and we absolutely loved it. Thank you to all Vita Xplorer crew!

Never... VitaXplorer, Corona Horror
Finger weg von diesem Boot Any&Urs First of all, we are experienced boat safari guests and not demanding. We were at the VitaXplorer from October 10, 2020 to October 17, 2020. Starting with the harbor, the VitaXplorer doesn't start where all the safari boats start in the New Marina in Hurghada, but at a jetty at the Marriotthotel. We were 7 French, 2 German, 1 Croat and 3 Swiss guests. The guests from Germany, Croatia and both of us from CH had cabins on the main deck. At check-in there was an extreme diesel smell like none of us has ever experienced on a boat. It was so strong that our eyes burned and we vomited. The crew said that nothing could be done. Not even the crew members could stand it in the cabins for more than 1 minute. At midnight everyone was moved from the main deck to a hotel. Check-in took 1 hour because the owner of VitaXplorer was looking for something cheap. We were told that the next day everything would be better as soon as we leave. It wasn't like that. A slight smell of diesel in the port is normal. It turned out that a lot of diesel ran into the tank room when refueling. Only after washing the tank compartment several times and rinsing in the open sea did
