Highlights
The Ocean Lovers is a 45-meter/148-foot-long liveaboard with 5 decks taking 32 guests on dive safaris in the Red Sea. There are 10 double cabins and 6 suites with views, all air-conditioned and equipped with private showers and toilets. The saloon and dining area on the main deck is perfect for relaxing. Entertainment options include a 65-inch LCD TV, a DVD player, and a sound system. In addition, the Ocean Lovers offers free Wi-Fi throughout the ship as long as a mobile signal is available. The Ocean Lover's 2 sun decks are spacious, with sun loungers, lazy bags, hammock swing chairs, and a hammock swing. Ideal for relaxing between dives, reading a book, or enjoying the sunset. Part of the sun deck is shaded, so guests always have a choice of whether they prefer the sun or protection from the heat.
The Ocean Lovers offers the chance to explore the famous Red Sea wrecks and reefs, including the Tiran diving area, composed of four main reefs that form an underwater bridge near the Gulf of Aqaba. Named after British cartographers (Jackson, Woodhouse, Thomas, and Gordon), these reefs are famous for their coral life and large pelagic fish. Expect a combination of wreck and reef diving, with the Northern Red Sea boasting impressive wrecks like the SS Thistlegorm. Other sites include Abu Nuhas, the "Ships Graveyard," and the Brothers Islands, with their thriving marine life and colorful corals. Anticipate encounters with reef sharks, eagle rays, oceanic white tip sharks, Napoleon fish, thresher sharks, hammerhead sharks, grey reef sharks, and more.

The Liveaboard That Spoiled Me Forever
This was probably my favorite dive trip so far. The whole experience was amazing. Every crew member was incredibly attentive — the service honestly felt like being on a moving five-star hotel. Accommodation: I stayed on the lower deck, and what really surprised me was that they cleaned the room after every dive. Every time I went back to my cabin, it felt like a little surprise. On my last Maldives liveaboard, they only cleaned once a day, so this felt really luxurious. After every dive, I’d come back to a freshly made bed and a clean bathroom, which was such a nice feeling. The crew even folded the bath towels into wave shapes, which was really cute. Food: One day the weather was beautiful, so the crew moved the dining area onto the deck, and it felt like a luxury yacht party. They also prepared cakes for anyone celebrating a birthday, which was very thoughtful and made it feel really special. Diving: The northern Red Sea offers an incredible mix of history and marine life. All the dive guides were fantastic — Ahmed, Sammy, Simone, Shawe — it was just a perfect dive trip. The crew helped prepare your gear and helped you put everything on. I get cold easily and the water wasn’t very warm, but after every dive, the crew would hand us juice and hot tea. Those small details really made the whole trip special.

My first liveaboard and it set the bar very high
My first liveaboard experience with Ocean Lovers was genuinely top notch. The diving itself was outstanding - beautiful, well-chosen sites with incredible marine life. Elphinstone was the highlight for me, despite the questionable weather conditions! What really elevated the trip was the crew. They were consistently attentive and proactive, always helping with gearing up, filling tanks quickly, and handling any ad hoc requests without hesitation. That level of service makes a huge difference when you’re doing multiple dives a day. Other than that, the crew kept the liveaboard consistently clean and cozy. The food was delicious. I was worried that as a vegan I wouldn't have anything to eat or I would be eating the same thing every day, but I was well taken care of and had plenty of variety throughout the trip. The dive guides clearly knew the sites well and ran things professionally. If I had one piece of feedback, it would be to spend a bit more time during briefings on marine life - what to look for and how to spot the more elusive species. I also appreciated how well-equipped the boat was. I came onboard with a cold and had some trouble equalizing, but the guides helped me out with medication, and I was able to get back in the water quickly. Overall, an amazing trip with fantastic diving, a great crew, and a very smooth operation. I’d absolutely recommend Ocean Lovers to anyone considering their first (or next) liveaboard.

First Liveaboard was an absolute dream
What an amazing experience! My first ever liveaboard and I am so glad I went with Ocean Lovers. Incredible food with plenty of variety, friendly and knowledgeable crew and comfortable cabins. Went to some beautiful dive sites, diving Thistlegorm was definitely a highlight. Thanks for the best time!

Great experience on the OceanLovers boat
The trip was really nice! The crew made it feel like you were really welcome and helped you get ready between dives. The dives were explained very well even allowing for some unguided dives towards the end. The food was done very well woth tasty deserts. Snacks were always available upstairs and down stairs. Lots of fresh water to drink if needed. Guides were great and really respectful of marine life asking clients to show that same respect. Lots of laughter and fun was had! 😄

Overall, this trip was an excellent experience – a combination of a professional crew, a comfortable boat and varied dive sites made this liveaboard truly memorable. The diving was really great: lots of time in the water, good visibility, beautiful reefs and rich marine life – exactly what you hope for on a trip like this.

Excellent itinerary, vessel and service
Loved my experience aboard Ocean Lovers. From check in to check out, the entire trip was comfortable, well planned and organized, stress free with luxury touches without being over the top. Gouda, Martina, Simon and Ali all are passionate dive masters and instructors who made every effort to make our dives enjoyable and safe. A comprehensive safety briefing was given and the boat was well equipped to deal with any emergency that might arise, the crew even handled a medical concern onboard with professionalism and care while maintaining the full itinerary for the guests onboard. The triple dip thistlegorm dive was the highlight of the trip, and the expert level of the dive guides really shined here. While I did not take a course I did watch as a diver completed his rescue course with Ali, who is a top notch diver and instructor. The boat crew shined in providing excellent service and meals and making up our cabins nicely in between dives. Robes added a nice comfort item in the cabin, and the crew were proactive in offering to fill the jacuzzi though I did not use it.

Best liveaboard
The boat is one of the best in Egypt. Staff are great throughout the whole team. The dives sites were amazing, so much to see. Dive briefs were detailed and constantly checking for current ensured we knew what to expect.
