Highlights
The Ocean Lovers is a 45-meter/148-foot-long liveaboard with 5 decks taking 32 guests on dive safaris in the Red Sea. There are 10 double cabins and 6 suites with views, all air-conditioned and equipped with private showers and toilets. The saloon and dining area on the main deck is perfect for relaxing. Entertainment options include a 65-inch LCD TV, a DVD player, and a sound system. In addition, the Ocean Lovers offers free Wi-Fi throughout the ship as long as a mobile signal is available. The Ocean Lover's 2 sun decks are spacious, with sun loungers, lazy bags, hammock swing chairs, and a hammock swing. Ideal for relaxing between dives, reading a book, or enjoying the sunset. Part of the sun deck is shaded, so guests always have a choice of whether they prefer the sun or protection from the heat.
The Ocean Lovers offers the chance to explore the famous Red Sea wrecks and reefs, including the Tiran diving area, composed of four main reefs that form an underwater bridge near the Gulf of Aqaba. Named after British cartographers (Jackson, Woodhouse, Thomas, and Gordon), these reefs are famous for their coral life and large pelagic fish. Expect a combination of wreck and reef diving, with the Northern Red Sea boasting impressive wrecks like the SS Thistlegorm. Other sites include Abu Nuhas, the "Ships Graveyard," and the Brothers Islands, with their thriving marine life and colorful corals. Anticipate encounters with reef sharks, eagle rays, oceanic white tip sharks, Napoleon fish, thresher sharks, hammerhead sharks, grey reef sharks, and more.

Awesome Experience, boat and crew were top notch.
The trip was amazing, we unfortunately didn't get luck on the dives so no hammerheads or thresher sharks, but the dive guide made every trip fun and the boat crew and amenities made it a value even if you never get in the water. I always worry when I see the pictures and wonder what the boat will actually look like and I can tell you that the pictures are deceiving at all. I would recommend this boat and crew to anyone looking for a relaxing week.

Great trip!
We really enjoyed this trip, it was our first live aboard. The entire crew took great care of us. The captain is also the owner, so is very focused on good service. The boat was sparkling clean, and got scrubbed down at least twice daily. The chef prepared amazing meals, there was no lack of food.

Great time on Red Sea
I went to the north wrecks/reef route and was not disappointed. The boat itself is less than a year old so the facilities and the boat condition is very good. I did have an O-ring issue underwater, but afterwards the crew made sure to replace and test my o-ring on my tank ensuring a smooth rest of the trip. Guides were fantastic and very personable. And of course the Red Sea is beautiful. Value exceeded price of boat.

- Great guides - we had a very good guide to diver ratio, one private guide + 3 guides for the rest of the divers which worked out great.. Boat condition is excellent!. Crew was wonderful..

Great experience
Some memorable dives with excellent staff and a fantastic group of guest. We had the opportunity to swim with dolphins in the wild between dives, thanks to Alaa. Hammerheads, Thistlegorm and octopus were all very part of highlights. The food was excellent and plentiful. One area that needs improvement is to have more dive guides. Two guide for 18 divers is a bit tight.

Exceeded Expectations
It was my first liveaboard and I wasn't quite sure what to expect but I knew my expectations for the food on board was low. Ocean Lovers served amazing meals everyday and they were all made out of fresh ingredients and tasted very delicious and satisfying! The crews were above and beyond trying to make us feel welcomed and comfortable on the boat. The boat itself is very well maintained and well cleaned! Nice interior. My favorite dive guide was Karim, he was very patient with all divers on board with varying diving skills. Ocean Lovers definitely set up a really high standard for my next liveaboard adventures.

Great diving but be prepared for every dive to be guided, regardless of your experience.
Great diving but this was sold as a Wrecks and Reefs tour. Out of 21 dives, only 4.5 of them were wrecks. I say 4.5 as one dive was on the MV Jolanda but as soon as we arrived at the wreck, our guide took us off it and on to the reef. The other issue was that every dive had to be led by a guide regardless of your qualification and experience and every dive was micromanaged. For example, I went to look at the bridge of the Salem Express with my buddy and was immediately signalled to get back to the group by the guide. This was very frustrating for those who had done multiple trips to the Red Sea and knew the sites well. I had to persuade the guide to let me and my buddy dive the Thistlegorm unsupervised and he very reluctantly agreed but only when I pointed out that this was my seventh liveaboard in Egypt and I was a PADI MSDT with 1000+ logged dives. This style of guided diving is great for new/inexperienced divers but not for the experienced.

Great trip - however disappointing additional charges at at the end of the trip
Crew very friendly and helpful boat in good condition - knowledge and approach of instructors very good. Unfortunatley the sting in the tail was the e175 charge right at the end of the trip! Which was just the cost for visting the marine parks, not for the fuel charge that some other passengers thought, and was mentioned in the T&C's. it took a lot of the pleasure away from what was good trip. It felt like money making was more important than the value for money aspect. Having been on 10 other liveboards in the past, the marine park cost has always been included in the price.
