Memories and friends for life!
Our liveaboard experience with MQ8 was overall very very good. Great diving in every way: dive masters, instructors, dive briefings and service from the boat-boys made the whole experience very smooth and felt luxurious for us that previously only have gone for day trips when diving. Getting to know the crew and your gear was very nice. We were lucky enough to see both Manta Ray and Reef Shark around Koh Bon/Koh Tachai. Marvellous aquatic life such as huge schools of jackfish and barracuda, and not to mention a palm sized sea horse at 30m depth at Richeliou Rock. We made memories and friends for life, so happy we did this. Great great great value for money! Love from Sweden!

Safety is always the top priority, the team is taking care of everyone! Though it would be better to ask the preferred language before assigning people into groups instead of by nationality.

Very nice experience !!
The best thing is friendly boat step! I forgot the name of every crew.. all the staff including Junior helped us so well to prepare the dive or finish the dive. When diving, experience under the water is important but I think people who are together are important. Everyone and everything is best. Thank you for making a pleasant memory.

Very nice surprise with this cruise on the Similans / Richelieu.
Dive 6N/5D on the Similans.Nice welcome, nice brand new SSI center, same for the diving equipment (new BCD in my case)Night sailing to the Similans. Then the days go by quickly and it's dense! Wake up at 6 am, adapted briefings, safety is always highlighted, 4 dives per day (or even 5 with night diving) by changing sites continuously: on the 9 islands among the Similans with a small afternoon tour on a beach, Koh Bon, Tachai and finally Richelieu for a whole day (on the same site 4 dives, but it is also the most famous in the cruise industry... and rightly so).Last day 2 dives around Koh Bon to hope to see mantas... No luck it will be for next time!Very good food before / after each dive, we are not likely to die of hunger! On the diving side, visibility much better in the Similans than in the Phuket/Koh Phi Phi sector, great seascapes with a lot of life (fixed and fish), impressive schools, especially the hunting scenes at the Dome first and even more so at Richelieu. Quite a few nudibranchs, relatively few crustaceans. Much more interesting than the Red Sea for me, but a notch below Indonesia where there is more life in all the gorgonians, alcyonarians and other comatulas...

- Nice and knowledgeable staff (boys, cooking, diving). Interesting and varied diving program. Good atmosphere with the other divers, and not too many on board (16 for 24 maximum).

If you haven’t done a liveaboard, this should be your first.
The sites were incredible and well selected. The interval between each dive and the whole trip in general was organised very well.
