Wonderful week of diving aboard Golden Dolphin 2!
Omar was an experienced, professional and fun dive guide. Together with the helpful crew, everything was arranged perfectly. Marine life and especially the coral were in good condition and incredibly beautiful. Lots of fish, even some sharks, turtles and rays. We were very lucky because we were the only boat at most locations!

Amazing trip!
Golden Dolphin delivered the experience beyond expectations! Nothing to complain about, all perfect! Boat, equipments, crew, office service and the dive guides all were just great! Most importantly I felt very safe, because of how organized they were, and how responsible the dive guide was. They take safety seriously and are very keen to details. I had a great time with golden dolphin and already can say next time when I visit Red Sea again I will definitely go with them onboard again! (Highly recommend their newest boat VI)!

four to the North
we were only four (4!) divers + 1 guide on this tour, quite an experience - thanx to Golden Dolphin that we still could take all of the iternary. The dolphins of Sha'ab El Erg were in the mood to interact with us - how cool that was! Only two other boats at the Thistlegorm - always worth another dive, down the decks of Giannis D - amazing! Every single night dive was most enjoyable. The drift dives at shark reef among the biggest schools of fish ever - moving! Also moving was wind and waves on a two hours crossing - almost scary and I had to rely on Dramenex, but the crew made an excellent job, likewise our guide. Everything was on track even as we lost one of the ships propellers (four guests only need one propeller ;-) ) Solid 30% Nitrox in the tank throughout the week Thank U big time! What I didn't like was the last day in Hurgada at the Golden Dolphin Pier which was at this time a building site and about 4km south the new Marina and €275.- fees (national park, port, fuel) - the most I've ever had to pay, other operators charge less to none.

Amazing oceanic whitetip experience
Really enjoyed my week diving the BDE itinerary with Golden Dolphin. I had perhaps expected to see a few more sharks on the trip and the dives were quite similar over the course of the week but that is a reflection of the BDE itinerary and not the operator. Boat was clean and comfortable, outside decks were nice, the food a bit repetitive for vegetarians by the end of the week but still really tasty for how many people the boat is catering for. To be picky, I would have liked a better choice of alcohol and filter coffee available with greater frequency, but in general the trip was great value

Will be back
From the outside, the boat is getting on in years. Luckily we had a cabin on the upper deck. Which we found to be very good. For the first liveaboard we were satisfied. The bottle filling, organization, worked great. The team was super well-rehearsed. Due to the last three windy days, the visibility and the crossing were of course a bit shearer, but the captain led us safely to the harbor. Thank you and see you soon. At breakfast I don't wish for a little more variety. Toast every day is not so great. In the cabin you could tighten a little screws, put drawers back in so that they don't fly out again and again during strong winds/waves.

Comfortable-Safe-Excellent Crew
The boat is very comfortable, the food is good and the crew very helpful and fun. Highlight the dive master Mahmoud, charming, gets a good atmosphere, cares about safety and customer satisfaction. We were unlucky due to several unforeseen events that we thought could have been better solved by the Golden Dolphin company, and for which we did not receive any compensation except for the apologies of the dive masters.Despite this, I would recommend it for people who prioritize safety and comfort. In my opinion the dive sites can be monotonous and I would have appreciated a little more excitement.
