Highlights
New for 2019, the MY Solaris yacht was perfectly designed for first-class cruises in the Galapagos Islands. With state-of-the-art amenities and modern comforts, the Solaris Galapagos can cater to up to 16 guests in 11 en-suite cabins. On the upper deck are 3 cabins with a queen bed plus a single bed and 2 with a queen bed plus a double sofa bed. On the main deck are 1 double and 5 single cabins, making the Solaris one of the few yachts in the Galapagos, which caters to solo travelers with no single supplement. All cabins feature wardrobes, a writing desk, charging ports, reading lights, and panoramic ocean views.
Bright social areas throughout the yacht make great spaces to relax between dives. The indoor lounge is bright and inviting, with comfortable sofas, a dining room, a TV, a fully stocked bar, a library, and a games area. An open-air terrace on the main deck is perfect for enjoying a cocktail while admiring the stunning Galapagos landscapes. On the upper deck is the sun deck with comfortable loungers and an al-fresco dining area where mouthwatering cuisine is freshly prepared and served by the professional chef.
The M/Y Solaris yacht offers distinctive itineraries throughout the Galapagos, which make optimal use of your time in the islands, with visits to 2 sites per day. The onboard expert Naturalist Guide brings nature to life as you enjoy unexpected encounters with unique Galapagos wildlife. Two small inflatable dinghies make boarding and disembarking the yacht easier and faster, increasing the chances of spotting wildlife along the way. Cruises are from 4 days long and can be extended to combine itineraries to make the most of your time in the Galapagos.
Personal attention from the welcoming crew will make all guests feel right at home. Book online today to reserve your Galapagos small-ship cruise.

Awesome wildlife experience from the comfort of a luxury cruise
An excellent luxury cruise with organised activities to explore the Galapagos from land and sea. Very comfortable cabin and lounge areas and an exquisite culinary experience with different types of fresh fish and seafood every day. Access to and from the islands was very easy and very safe with the help of an expert crew and a welcoming hand into and out of the ribs. The variety and accessibility of the wildlife was very bit as amazing as I had been led to believe. However, swimming with turtles will be my longest lasting memory.

Galapagos are wonderful; food and guide need to be improved
Instead of highlights, how about problems? The food is not good. One night the "beef" was virtually inedible. I have been on a number of small boat cruises and the food was much better on each of them. Guide is a problem. He is very knowledgeable, but talks too much and repeats himself constantly. Also don't appreciate all of the celebrity name dropping and the interjection of his political views. He needs to be replaced. The toilets on the ship are also a problem, backing up frequently. The islands are a treasure, and the crew is fantastic, but I would not take another cruise from this company.
