Highlights
The Ariyal is a 45-meter/148-foot-long liveaboard taking 26 passengers in 13 cabins on diving adventures in the Maldives. There are three types of rooms: 7 State Cabins on the lower deck, 2 Sea View Suites on the main deck, and 4 Sea View Suites on the upper deck. All cabins feature ensuite bathrooms, air conditioning, and modern amenities. The lower deck cabins provide twin beds, and the sea view suites offer king-size beds and sofa beds. Guests can enjoy a spacious second deck equipped with a freshwater jacuzzi.

Overall fair experience, I would have said very poor but diving with Manta Rays is an amazing experience.. My recommendation would be to go to a resort close to the Mantas or whale sharks.
This Liveaboard has alot to be desired. The dive guides take 8-9 divers for each dive .. first person out of air and youre dive is finished ..They dont check whether youre a new diver or very experienced diver.. You are just put in groups. The dive guides do not get to know you at all.. You dive with them and then they disappear.. They are contracted and are not tied to the boat so they dont seem to care. Know when you dive with the liveaboards they all follow the same route at the same time. It was not unusual to have over 80 divers at one dive site.. very disappointing.. It is not worth the expense, if you decide you want to dive on a liveaboard. find the cheapest one. You will notice most of the Maldives liveaboards are discounted heavily.. there is a reason for that.. So much more to say but i will leave it at that.

Dreamy Maldives trip, highly professional boat, exceptional diving !
I had such a wonderful time aboard the Ariyal, the trip from start to finish was professional, comfortable, and lovely. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone looking to cruise the Maldives and experience exceptional diving. All of the diving was exceptional, we saw hammerheads, tiger sharks, bull shark, nurse sharks, spinnner sharks, lemon sharks, guitar sharks, mantas, nudi branch, pipefish, eagle rays, mobula rays, and so much m ore!!! The dive doni and the Boat crew on the doni we’re very professional and made he diving fun, helped set up, breakout, and clean all equipment after every dive so you can go on enjoying the sun. The food was well prepared and plentiful, the cabins were very comfortable spacious and the bed was super comfy. Other activities they have on board, paddle boarding, wakeboarding, fishing, tubing, drinking (ha!), and other fun activities. Overall 10 out of 10 trip would highly recommend!!! Shout out to the Capitan Ibrahim who went above and beyond to make the trip perfect, he truly cares about the quality of the trip and the safety of the passengers on board his boat!

A great price and diving for the time of year.
For an out of season liveaboard it was an excellent trip. Visibility and the weather was not great, but as expected for the time of year. The staff did their best to make the diving very good, the boat and the food wwas great.

Heaven for Shark Lovers (and Photographers)
Joined a 7-night liveaboard trip with Ariyal. The dive sites were excellent for wide-angle photography! We encountered tiger sharks, hammerhead sharks, bull sharks, and nurse sharks. The manta ray feeding frenzy night dive was also a highlight—absolutely spectacular. Big kudos to the chefs and housekeeping staff. The food onboard was delicious. Just a heads-up: soft drinks were not included and were sold at USD 5 each. One note on dive safety—my guide didn’t seem particularly attentive to his NDL (No Decompression Limit) time. I recommend that guest divers monitor their own dive computers closely to ensure safe profiles and avoid hitting deco limits.

Relaxing, Feel like Home, great people and Amazing Wildlife
Highly recommended Liveaboard Ariyal! This is my 2nd time with this Luxury and Comfy boat with friendly crew, feel more like home instead of commercial boat and soooo relaxing after diving. Diving arrangement, briefing and sites are wonderful this time, number of sharks and rays and abundant wildlife was definitely amazing even during the low season with not so wonderful visibility due to nutrition for new born wildlife, but the rich wildlife is definitely world class, so happy to see many many fish species! Dhoni boat staff are very helpful to help everyone ready get in and out of water, and always with their smiles! All Crews are friendly and room was cleaned up during first dive, mixed western and eastern food with fresh vegetables and fruits which I love, are well prepared after diving too. And so lucky to meet many friendly and experienced divers during past 2 Liveaboard at Ariyal, they sharing not only their experiences, support each other (junior diver) but also culture exchange and some even with great stories of their life!

a wonderful experience for dive and holiday
The whole trip will be a unforgettable time in my life, makes me anticipating for diving in maldive again in the near future. There are some drawbacks making the journey not so perfect for someone like me: 1. Food was not so appealing for East Asian; 2. A Complete Dive sites List would make the trip more clear for divers.

- Never forget the wonderful moment that the huge tiger shark swimming at a hand distance manta suddenly appear with huge white wings, then soon disappear in the dark.. Room always be clean before sleep and good service alway be waiting during diner and diving..
