Highlights
The Ariyal is a 45-meter/148-foot-long liveaboard taking 26 passengers in 13 cabins on diving adventures in the Maldives. There are three types of rooms: 7 State Cabins on the lower deck, 2 Sea View Suites on the main deck, and 4 Sea View Suites on the upper deck. All cabins feature ensuite bathrooms, air conditioning, and modern amenities. The lower deck cabins provide twin beds, and the sea view suites offer king-size beds and sofa beds. Guests can enjoy a spacious second deck equipped with a freshwater jacuzzi.
Ariyal also boasts a range of onboard facilities and activities. It includes 2 Yamaha Jetskis, paddleboards, wakeboards, water skis, and various inflatables for water sports enthusiasts. Beach BBQ setups with portable grills, speakers, and dining furniture are available for shore excursions. The boat is equipped for fishing with 24 line fishing sets. Onboard entertainment includes a 75” smart TV in the lounge, WiFi, a PlayStation 5, portable Bose speakers, and board games. Great experience
We enjoyed the trip a lot. The dive guides were excellent The chef and the food were great and the Cabins were very good. The only thing that we did not like was there were little cockroaches in some areas

Lovely trip
Excellent trip overall, will definitely do it again. I would only wish the groups were defined by experience instead of rooms. It’s frustrating having to surface when still having 110+ bar. A few times the guide sent me to another group to complete the dive, which I really appreciated, but this was only possible when we bumped into another group by the end of the dive

Highly recommend for groups
My first liveaboard dive trip and it is a great one. Ariyal boat is so new and our staff are kind/our dive guides (especially my group DM - Wish, hope to see you again soon) are also very professional/helpful. We were assigned with a group of Spanish guests, they showed how wonderful if you are travelling as a group.

Highly recommended experience
We have just finished a seven day live aboard dive expedition on the Ariyal. Though the conditions can be challenging at times because of currents, the diving is superb and the dive masters are exceptional. They made sure we were safe at all times and organised a thrilling variety of experiences. You will certainly return with amazing photos and videos. Our room was spacious with a large ensuite, the food was delicious and plentiful and the staff went out of their way to make the trip memorable. A beachfront dinner was a highlight, the communal areas fitted with every luxury. Enjoy your trip, I am looking forward to booking a new expedition with them in the near future. Truly unforgettable experience!
Hands down an incredible liveaboard! The team were fantastic, providing the best service and always accommodating to your needs. Food was fresh and was not repetitive. Lounge area was spacious and always clean. Rooms were great and always well maintained. But the diving was the phenomenal part... lots of giant mantas, green and hawskbill turtles, healthy reefs, bull sharks, tiger sharks, spinner sharks, general reef sharks etc. The two best experiences during the holiday was the night diving with the manta rays which was an amazing thing to experience. Also, the final days dive at Hulhumale Neru with the bulls, tigers, spinners and other sharks. There was 25 guests in total and everyone on board was incredible, friendly and amazing. They truly made the holiday unforgettable. I'd highly recommend the Ariyal to anyone seeking a high class liveaboard with a well put itinerary.

Pure luxury and great dive sites
My liveaboard with Ariyal was a consistently great experience. As soon as I entered the ship, I immediately felt at home – the entire crew and the dive guides were extremely friendly, warm and professional.There is real luxury on board: the cabins are comfortable, the beds are made twice a day, and there are fresh towels every day. The food was also excellent – maybe even too much of a good thing – but definitely varied and tasty.The dive sites were very well planned, with a balanced mix of thilas, drift dives, night dives and stations with feeding. The reefs we visited were beautiful – mostly colorful and vibrant.In strong currents, reef hooks were used, which made the diving particularly impressive. At the same time, attention was always paid to safety – safety standards were taken seriously, but a certain degree of personal responsibility was also required, which I appreciate very much.The flexibility of the team is particularly noteworthy: When one or two guests ran out of air faster, larger tanks were easily provided so that everyone could enjoy the same diving experience.Even though a maximum depth of 30 meters and a diving time of 45 minutes applies in the Maldives, 60-minute dives were also made possible under suitable conditions - another example of individual support.

Relaxing, Feel like Home, great people and Amazing Wildlife
Highly recommended Liveaboard Ariyal! This is my 2nd time with this Luxury and Comfy boat with friendly crew, feel more like home instead of commercial boat and soooo relaxing after diving. Diving arrangement, briefing and sites are wonderful this time, number of sharks and rays and abundant wildlife was definitely amazing even during the low season with not so wonderful visibility due to nutrition for new born wildlife, but the rich wildlife is definitely world class, so happy to see many many fish species! Dhoni boat staff are very helpful to help everyone ready get in and out of water, and always with their smiles! All Crews are friendly and room was cleaned up during first dive, mixed western and eastern food with fresh vegetables and fruits which I love, are well prepared after diving too. And so lucky to meet many friendly and experienced divers during past 2 Liveaboard at Ariyal, they sharing not only their experiences, support each other (junior diver) but also culture exchange and some even with great stories of their life!

Must do if you’re a passionate diver and highly recommend Ariyal boat with its crew
I joined Ariyal 3rd August 2025 - I booked the trip in 2024 and what attracted me to this offer was the price and the fact that the boat was new. Everything, from the comfort of the cabin, to all 16 dives we did, the crew and the team of divers, was incredible and I couldn’t expect anything more. Tip if you will join: bring pegs for drying your gear/clothes, start interacting with people from the first moment on the boat, mark your gear/clothes with your initials, bring your water bottle. Tip for the boat: create a board with the crew’s photos and names, use the top deck more often. Thank you to the crew and our amazing team of divers for making this an unforgettable adventure!

Mantas, Tigers and Memories for Life
I had an absolutely fantastic trip on this liveaboard and would highly recommend it. The boat itself is beautiful, comfortable, and very well maintained. The crew were brilliant throughout—friendly, professional, and always willing to help—and the dive guides were exceptional. Their passion for the ocean and commitment to protecting it was clear to see, which made the experience even more special. The food was excellent, with plenty of variety and quality throughout the trip. The diving was fantastic, with an incredible amount of marine life. We were lucky enough to see numerous manta rays, several shark species including tiger sharks, turtles, and octopus. While some reefs were unfortunately not in the healthiest condition, there were still many stunning dive sites, and the healthier reefs were absolutely teeming with life and a joy to explore. A wonderful experience from start to finish. I would love to come back again in the future.
