Highlights
The Ariyal is a 45-meter/148-foot-long liveaboard taking 26 passengers in 13 cabins on diving adventures in the Maldives. There are three types of rooms: 7 State Cabins on the lower deck, 2 Sea View Suites on the main deck, and 4 Sea View Suites on the upper deck. All cabins feature ensuite bathrooms, air conditioning, and modern amenities. The lower deck cabins provide twin beds, and the sea view suites offer king-size beds and sofa beds. Guests can enjoy a spacious second deck equipped with a freshwater jacuzzi.
Ariyal also boasts a range of onboard facilities and activities. It includes 2 Yamaha Jetskis, paddleboards, wakeboards, water skis, and various inflatables for water sports enthusiasts. Beach BBQ setups with portable grills, speakers, and dining furniture are available for shore excursions. The boat is equipped for fishing with 24 line fishing sets. Onboard entertainment includes a 75” smart TV in the lounge, WiFi, a PlayStation 5, portable Bose speakers, and board games. An Unforgettable Live aboard experience in the Maldives!
My trip aboard the Ariyal was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment I stepped on board, the crew made me feel welcomed, relaxed, and completely taken care of. The boat itself is beautifully maintained — spacious decks, comfortable cabins, and plenty of cozy corners to unwind between dives. Every detail felt thoughtfully handled, creating the perfect balance of adventure and comfort. But the true standout of the entire journey was our dive guide, Napshu. His passion for the ocean is contagious, and his knowledge of Maldivian dive sites is on another level. Whether we were drifting alongside manta rays, hovering above vibrant coral gardens, or watching sharks cruise effortlessly through the blue, Napshu always knew exactly where to take us and how to make each dive feel special. The briefings were clear, his energy was uplifting, and his calm confidence made every diver — from beginners to veterans — feel safe and inspired. If you’re considering a liveaboard in the Maldives, the Ariyal is an experience you’ll carry with you long after you’ve dried off. I’m already dreaming about the next trip.

The diving safari on the Ariyal was an absolute dream! From the very first moment, I felt completely welcome – the crew is warm, attentive, and truly passionate about what they do. The captain guides the ship with calm confidence and the guides are amazing – professional, caring, and full of enthusiasm for the underwater world. Every dive was a magical experience – encounters with manta rays, sharks, and vibrant coral reefs that I’ll never forget. The encounter with a whale shark will also remain unforgettable. Life on board was just as wonderful: delicious food, cozy cabins, and a warm, family-like atmosphere. It was our first liveaboard and it was a spectacular experience. Both the boat and the people have been amazing. The dive boat is spacious and very comfortable. The food was very tasty and varied. If you come in the rainy season the visibility will not be very good, but the marine life is still amazing. A highly recommended experience!

A great trip!!The staff is wonderful, the boat is spotless, the food is delicious and the dive spots are great. The diving instructors care a lot about the dives being wonderful and that we can enjoy them and see as much marine life as possible. It was a great ship where the attention is 5 stars, the room is better than a hotel and the common areas are great. I can't say anything bad. Everything was very good!! I'll be back!! Thank you Ariyal Team!!

I joined Ariyal 3rd August 2025 - I booked the trip in 2024 and what attracted me to this offer was the price and the fact that the boat was new. Everything, from the comfort of the cabin, to all 16 dives we did, the crew and the team of divers, was incredible and I couldn’t expect anything more. Tip if you will join: bring pegs for drying your gear/clothes, start interacting with people from the first moment on the boat, mark your gear/clothes with your initials, bring your water bottle. Tip for the boat: create a board with the crew’s photos and names, use the top deck more often. Thank you to the crew and our amazing team of divers for making this an unforgettable adventure!

We had an unforgettable experience at the Liveaboard Ariyal, where we celebrated the second week of our honeymoon. From the first moment, the treatment was exceptional: knowing that we were on our honeymoon, they surprised us with a cake and a bottle of prosecco. A beautiful detail!All the staff of the boat were always super attentive 24 hours a day, taking care of every detail so that we did not miss anything. The four dive guides are a real blast: Ali, Alex, Shamil and Wish, cracks! We hired a private guide, which was a great choice, but we also found that groups of five per divemaster work great; All the divers seemed very happy.The food was delicious, with snacks between meals that always came in handy. Dinner on the deserted island was simply magical.Without a doubt, we would repeat without thinking about it! A diving experience and care that exceeds expectations.

A completely no hassles experience.
Being able to dive without a wetsuit in clean, clear water was magical. The cabins were comfortable and housekeeping fantastic. I would love to see some more towel racks in the bathroom and a fish identification guide in the saloon. The food was beautiful and fresh and SO MUCH of it. Thank you for everything.

Big fish diving with the Ariyal
New ship, very attentive crew, Sauperkeit tip top, food excellent, everything tasted good!! One of the highlights was diving in the port of Male with countless different species of sharks and rays. Once a cool beach barbecue took place on an island. On the last evening, we were able to admire a huge fireworks display on the occasion of the national holiday in the port of Male from the yacht.

Highly recommended experience
We have just finished a seven day live aboard dive expedition on the Ariyal. Though the conditions can be challenging at times because of currents, the diving is superb and the dive masters are exceptional. They made sure we were safe at all times and organised a thrilling variety of experiences. You will certainly return with amazing photos and videos. Our room was spacious with a large ensuite, the food was delicious and plentiful and the staff went out of their way to make the trip memorable. A beachfront dinner was a highlight, the communal areas fitted with every luxury. Enjoy your trip, I am looking forward to booking a new expedition with them in the near future.
