An unforgettable adventure in the Maldives – the Ariyal is simply exceptional!
The diving safari on the Ariyal was an absolute dream! From the very first moment, I felt completely welcome – the crew is warm, attentive, and truly passionate about what they do. The captain guides the ship with calm confidence and the guides are amazing – professional, caring, and full of enthusiasm for the underwater world. Every dive was a magical experience – encounters with manta rays, sharks, and vibrant coral reefs that I’ll never forget. The encounter with a whale shark will also remain unforgettable. Life on board was just as wonderful: delicious food, cozy cabins, and a warm, family-like atmosphere. Thank you to the entire Ariyal crew – you made this journey in the Maldives an unforgettable experience! 🌊🤿💙

Highly recommend for groups
My first liveaboard dive trip and it is a great one. Ariyal boat is so new and our staff are kind/our dive guides (especially my group DM - Wish, hope to see you again soon) are also very professional/helpful. We were assigned with a group of Spanish guests, they showed how wonderful if you are travelling as a group.

Highly recommended experience
We have just finished a seven day live aboard dive expedition on the Ariyal. Though the conditions can be challenging at times because of currents, the diving is superb and the dive masters are exceptional. They made sure we were safe at all times and organised a thrilling variety of experiences. You will certainly return with amazing photos and videos. Our room was spacious with a large ensuite, the food was delicious and plentiful and the staff went out of their way to make the trip memorable. A beachfront dinner was a highlight, the communal areas fitted with every luxury. Enjoy your trip, I am looking forward to booking a new expedition with them in the near future. Grateful for an unforgettable diving week on the Ariyal
The week on the Ariyal was wonderful. Nishan (captain) and his crew on board are super friendly and eager to help. After a day, they knew the guests and their preferences. The boat is modern and clean. The food is fantastic and varied. The beach BBQ gigantic and beautiful! We were well catered for and in case of problems the crew was always approachable and helped. The dive sites were just unique! The communication and organization around it is great. We knew at all times how the day would turn out. I didn't want to stop diving. There are many retreats on board, so that you could enjoy your coffee in peace and quiet in the morning without the hustle and bustle. What the Ariyal lacks is a permanent European instructor who organizes the freelancer guides and ensures quality. The team changes more or less every week, so it's a bit of a lottery as to how good the guides are. In my opinion, such a submersible cannot afford that. That's why I'm subtracting a star. The dives were sometimes a bit wild, because under water it was not clearly communicated what we would do, in case the current was different than expected or something came up. Personally, I find clear communication important in order not to deal with organizational things but to enjoy the indescribable beauty and abundance of the dive sites.

Pure luxury and great dive sites
My liveaboard with Ariyal was a consistently great experience. As soon as I entered the ship, I immediately felt at home – the entire crew and the dive guides were extremely friendly, warm and professional. There is real luxury on board: the cabins are comfortable, the beds are made twice a day, and there are fresh towels every day. The food was also excellent – maybe even too much of a good thing – but definitely varied and tasty. The dive sites were very well planned, with a balanced mix of thilas, drift dives, night dives and stations with feeding. The reefs we visited were beautiful – mostly colorful and vibrant. In strong currents, reef hooks were used, which made the diving particularly impressive. At the same time, attention was always paid to safety – safety standards were taken seriously, but a certain degree of personal responsibility was also required, which I appreciate very much. The flexibility of the team is particularly noteworthy: When one or two guests ran out of air faster, larger tanks were easily provided so that everyone could enjoy the same diving experience.Even though a maximum depth of 30 meters and a diving time of 45 minutes applies in the Maldives, 60-minute dives were also made possible under suitable conditions - another example of individual support.

Epic trip and so many incredible memories
This was our first liveaboard and we loved every second of it. Firstly; the boat itself is spacious and has lots of nice areas to relax, the top deck was our favourite, we had a cabin on the upper deck and was spacious enough for two and good sized bathroom. The rooms on the middle deck are even larger, a friend had one of those and everything kept very clean, there was even a set of 5kg weights if you wanted to do a little workout!! The crew; super friendly, loved to hang out and chat, excellent service and food was plenty and lots of variety, if you have specific dietary needs such as being vegan you will want to take your own milk if you enjoy tea and coffee. The day to day is well organized and just effortless as a guest. The dive guides, exceptional dive briefings by Shamil before every dive with safety being by the main focus every time and currents and we loved our dive guide Allatey, had a sharp eye for the big fish and we saw so so much, he even made some amazing go pro videos that he shared with the group. We had the most wonderful dive group and we have made forever friends. Dive gear was good quality mainly Seac BCDs and any issues like o rings etc were resolved promptly, the dive boat crew work really hard. The beach bbq was highlight, literally on an island in the middle of nowhere! We had the best time and cannot wait to do it again. TIPS: -Bring your own x large pegs for drying your items mine kept disappearing not bothered but handy to bring your own. -Pack some mints for after each dive the nitrox after a couple of days will dry your mouth out. -You will literally wear the same 3 pairs of shorts and t shirts the whole week don’t over pack - have 4 sets of swimwear to rotate and dry -bring a small dry bag for the dive boat

Must do if you’re a passionate diver and highly recommend Ariyal boat with its crew
I joined Ariyal 3rd August 2025 - I booked the trip in 2024 and what attracted me to this offer was the price and the fact that the boat was new. Everything, from the comfort of the cabin, to all 16 dives we did, the crew and the team of divers, was incredible and I couldn’t expect anything more. Tip if you will join: bring pegs for drying your gear/clothes, start interacting with people from the first moment on the boat, mark your gear/clothes with your initials, bring your water bottle. Tip for the boat: create a board with the crew’s photos and names, use the top deck more often. Thank you to the crew and our amazing team of divers for making this an unforgettable adventure!

Highly recommended
The boat is great. The team was great. Dives sites were nice (we had bad weather so the visibility was not always great - but this could be due to the weather). The food was exceptional. There was always a very good salad, vegetables and fruit (next to other things like very good fish, shrimps, curries etc). We will come back for sure. There are two rooms on the main deck which are huge! We had one of them and would always book main cabin again (also huge bathrooms). The upper deck rooms are also in a reasonable size but smaller.

- Great room (main deck - biggest rooms). Great crew (from the dive instructors to the kitchen team to the captains - everyone was super friendly). Great food (with a lot of healthy options).
