Highlights
The Emperor Virgo liveaboard offers year-round diving in the Maldives. Catering to just 18 divers, there is ample space for all guests on board to relax and unwind during their stay. Cabins are spread over 3 decks and have double or twin beds, private en-suite bathrooms, and individually controlled AC. Upper-deck cabins also have large picture windows and amazing sea views.
The main deck of the Emperor Virgo is home to the large indoor salon with an entertainment area and dining room. The upper deck has an outdoor terrace, bar, and an al-fresco dining area to enjoy the delicious cuisine and gorgeous scenery. Meals combine international and local dishes; a free glass of wine is included with dinner. The sun deck has comfortable loungers and offers a relaxing space to unwind between dives.
All dives from the Emperor Virgo yacht take place from the accompanying dhoni, which gives plenty of room for kitting up and gear storage and makes getting to and from the dive sites easy. Magical Week in the Maldives
Magical trip aboard the Emperor Virgo. Went as part of our honeymoon and it was more than what we even dreamed it could be. The sea life showed up and showed off - mantas, whale sharks, 40+ nurse sharks, diverse dives and countless octopus, micro life, and fish - the crew did everything possible to help us see the best sea life we have ever seen. So good it almost felt surreal. The boat is older but well maintained and the crew were genuinely some of the nicest people we've ever met. Virgo isn't the biggest boat of the Emperor fleet but I can't imagine going on a different one now. We did our homework before we came and I would encourage any future divers to not hesitate booking. Everyone went above and beyond and it was a trip of a lifetime we will never forget!!

Great dive trip!
Such an amazing week! We had a great time with some fantastic diving and a wonderful crew! The boat was super clean and comfortable, and all of the crew went out of their way to make the trip special and enjoyable for everyone! Would absolutely recommend this trip to any divers visiting the Maldives!

Amazing Diving with safety and care
The highlights of the trip were simply - we got lucky and our dive group was able to come across a whale shark without the hordes of other snorkelers and divers out there. We saw sharks on every dive and dozens / hundreds on some dives. On the manta night dive, mantas hit us! It was all just so amazing. The crew was very kind. The diving was suprisingly difficult given the currents and we had to abandon 2 dive sites due to unwieldy/washer machine currents which is better than risking low air to continue. All in all it was an unforgettable and incredibly experience.

Shark- and Manta-Tastic Week
Had a great week diving with Russ, Jacky and Issey- definitely lived up to the 'Sharkatstic' itinerary...with two great manta dives to boot. Alimatha Jetty and Rangali Madivaru are now in my Top 10 list. The cabin was comfortable, the boat was great, and Chandana and the staff kept us all well fed. Also had a great group of folks to dive with. Would gladly do it again.

There were 17 dives in a week, so it is for people who want go for lots of dives. There was a variety of dive sites, they were all different.

Nice week in the indian ocean
I had a great time during my trip, the crew made sure that we all were well looked after specially with food allergies and intolerances always with a big smile. The cabins were always very well looked after and the beds very comfortable. The dive guides were very friendly and polite, although the cruise director was very challenging. To improve: the boat need renovations as the furniture is old and worn out. The outside areas are not very comfortable for socializing which could be improved. The first aid kit was really poor and not prepared to react with cuts and other injuries so it should certainly be updated.

Great dives aboard the Virgo!
Beautiful table coral landscapes in S. Ari. Manta rays at Maya Thila. Tons of sharks while channel diving. Guides were super professional and briefings were quite complete.
