The Blue Lotus welcomes up to 12 guests in 5 cabins spread across 3 decks. The lower deck features twin and triple cabins with en-suite bathrooms, while the main and upper decks offer deluxe and balcony suites, including a master cabin with ocean views. Extra beds are available upon request through customer support. Each cabin is finished in teak and fitted with en suite washrooms and ambient lighting, creating a relaxing atmosphere between dives.

Wonderful dive trip in Komodo
Where to start? Everything about the 6 days that we spent on Blue Lotus was exceptional. It far surpassed our best expectations! The diving was fantastic- world class. Coral reefs, so many fish, sharks and mantas etc. Maxro also very good. The boat is new, very well designed and comfortable. The cabins have lots of usable space (we had a twin). The beds are very comfortable and there’s lots of space on the boat for chilling out with beds and bean bags across the decks. The food was excellent. Every meal was varied , tasty, with 3-4 protein dishes each meal (fish, prawns, squid, chicken, beef, tofu) and lots of vegetables, rice, noodles, fruit, cakes, ice cream etc. Presentation was also good restaurant standard. The crew and catering staff were top notch, very happy and did everything for you. The dive equipment was pretty new and very good quality and condition. The dive masters were great and, whilst the group maximum is 4 divers per divemaster, our group had 4 divemasters for 9 divers due to the mix of diving standards in the group. We had the great fortune to dive with Stefan Rayworth who was by far the best divemaster we’ve ever dived with. Planning and execution of the dives were spot on, we felt extremely safe with him, and he finds everything from mantas and shark to nudibranchs and seahorses. The back office team were also great with prompt communications from Feli. We would go with Blue lotus again in a heartbeat

Fish, food, and fun..... all over the top.
My week aboard Blue Lotus exceeded all of my expectations. You are on a liveaboard to maximize your diving and the sites around Komodo did not disappoint. The quantity and variety of the sites and the fish seen was exceptional. The highlights include 14 turtle sitings on one dive, spending 60 minutes watching 6 manta rays glide and circle about, and the current of the Shotgun. The staff and other guests also made the trip fun and memorable. The peace and solitude experienced each morning was a world away from my usual work and urban living. The trip was relaxing and exciting beyond expectation.

Great experience, great crew, great guides, great organisation
Great first impression when a Blue Lotus staff member was waiting for me at my hotel on the morning of our departure. The level of organisation and client focussed support only flowed from then, through the rest of the trip until our eventual return to port. Typical day involved (i) early morning wakeup, (ii) light breakfast, (iii) morning dive, (iv) cooked breakfast (smorgasbord), (v) mid-morning dive, (vi) cooked lunch (smorgasbord), (vii) time for a nap, (viii) afternoon dive, (ix) evening/night dive (three times), (x) cooked three coarse dinner. Rinse and repeat. Total variation in meals and dive sites. Dedicated equipment area at rear of main vessel with transfer to dive sites on one of two specially configured runabouts. I chose the budget accommodation, which had surprisingly more storage area than the photos showed. There was more than sufficient space under the upper bed for those, like me, on the lower bed to store personal items. Clean, well maintained vessel. Well run...no issues As with any budget liveaboard, selection of beverages was limited to a few select soft drinks (complimentary) and one beer (for fee). So if you want something different, you're free to bring your own and utilise the boat's fridge

My best diving experience by far
The diving trip with Blue Lotus was absolutely amazing. The staff were superhelpful even prior to the trip to help me find gear in Labuan Bajo I wanted to bring for the trip. The boat was beautiful and so was the rooms. The beds were comfortable and the AC worked great. The local food was great and the staff were kind, fun and helpful. And last of all, the diving was the best I’ve experienced. The gear were in good condition, the dive sites were planned to make the best out of the trip, and were changed if current and weather conditions, only to make our trip the best. I couldn’t have asked for anything else. This trip with Blue Lotus was amazing! Thank you!

Fantastic Komodo Adventure!
I joined the 6D/5N liveaboard on Blue Lotus to explore diving in central and southern Komodo in January 2026. Weather conditions were challenging, but the diveguides and crew navigated dilligently to epic dive sites and ensured safe exploration with thorough, well-explained briefings every time. Many dives were fantastic: we spotted mantas, several shark species, and wonderful coral gardens teeming with life. Breakouts to Padar Island for great views and Rinca Island for Komodo dragons, where super well timed and created nice breaks in the trip. Dive guides and crew were professional, forthcoming, and friendly. Food was delicious, especially the lunches. Huge efforts from everyone—both on and off the ship—made this a great and memorable liveaboard. Full marks and my highest recommendation to Blue Lotus.

Highly recommended!
Fantastic. Amazing crew and guides, and a lovely on board experience. Their knowledge of the dive sites is first rate, and their care for us as divers and guests was first rate. The food was wonderful and plentiful. There was something new every day. It was amazing what they turned out, and it’s a great mix of Indonesian and western. The cabins are pretty comfy, and are all ensuite. I highly recommend this outfit if you want a more personal and amazing dive trip.

Enjoy the Macro dives and Manta dives
Thanks Ricky’s excellent dive guiding and found many different kinds of Nudie Branches for me to take photos. Manta dive and drift dives are also memorable. The crew is so good for arranging dives, even in the raining days.
