Absolutely amazing dive
The meeting at the airport was smooth and ahead of schedule. The connection @the airport by Leena was very organized. She got there ahead of time. Connected with everyone and helped introductions. The bus to the port was clean, good air conditioning and had newer leather seats. The bus was large enough where the 15 of us had our own 2 seats. The boat is beautiful, in great condition, the crew is fantastic, the beds are heaven. I think memory foam of some sort. Briefings are high quality. Pictures of fish. The dive guides Maged and Nina were professional and experienced. Their insight and patience made each dive amazing.

Nice dives with tigers and hammerheads on many dives!
I enjoyed the boat but there was a definite gasoline smell in cabin 4 for the first 3 days.

Super reefs
Everything about the trip exceeded expectations. The reef diving was excellent, and devoid of the usual features associated with overdiving.

- Professional, safety focused guides and crew.. Excellent and varied reef diving. Also lovely Wreck,Iona.. As no other liveaboard or dayboats at the dive sites, the sites were quiet, with undisturbed life..

Great experience in the red sea
Great experience, the only weak point had been the dive guides a little to pushy during the dives (we were mostly dive pros so no need to be controlled)

Diving in this region of the Red Sea is likely best during winter months
In early September, the water is warm to hot. The stress on coral is evident, and the quality of fish and shark encounters dramatically reduced. Many dive sites were unfortunately quite ordinary

great liveaboard in unchartered areas in saudi redsea
Almonda was a great liveboard experience in saudi red sea. I did 19 dives, 2 were exceptional, 8 were very good, 5 okay and 4 quite bad as we stayed in the blue and literrally saw nothing airport transfers excellent, cabin crew excellent, dive crew excellent, food excellent. i liked that we were some of the first divers to do these dives. high risk high reward a few things to improve: - i think i was the only one with a bad cabin experience where water was dripping from the ceiling on the bed and the cabin smelled exhaust gas for the entire trip - it would be great to get better wifi. today satellite wifi is availble for cheap - our guide was great technically, as a leader but first time diving on these sites so it would be good if ocean breeze take the dive guides to sites before they lead group

- best food ever on a liveboard. cabin crew and dive crew. some of the dives were memorable with unplanned encounter of a tiger and a whale shark.
