Newly built in 2015, the traditional sailing phinisi Cajoma IV offers epic liveaboard dive trips in Komodo from April to December each year. Cruises are 3-nights/4-days long and explore the diverse area of this National Park. The itineraries have been planned with divers' needs in mind, and the maximum number of dives is offered while keeping group sizes small (4:1 ratio). The schedules cover some of Komodo's best dive sites, including Manta Point and Castle Rock, where you can see mantas and sharks, as well as incredible muck dives that reveal amazing critters. Plus, a land visit to see Komodo Dragons and flying foxes, and you have the perfect short Komodo dive trip.

Topsides, the modern 30m Cajoma IV liveaboard caters to just 8 guests in 4 en-suite cabins. There is a master cabin with a private balcony on the main deck, as well as 2 doubles and 1 twin cabin on the lower deck. All cabins feature en-suite bathrooms and air conditioning. Trip of a life time. Thank you Team Manta Rhei…you are incredible.
Great experience. It was the first time went on LOB as a family. Two divers and one snorkeller. First proper diving trip for my 15 year old son. Was nervous while planning, had an experience to remember for a lifetime. Special call out to Ricardo, Goris and Edel for the great dive guiding. Diving was spectacular with incredible visibility and vibrant marine life. From sharks, mantas to frog fish, sea horse and nudi branch everything got covered. Ofcourse the sea turtles by the plenty were a delight as always. Cauldron shot gun did not disappoint either. The boat was great with an amazing chef. Pretty sure cam off with more weight despite the intense diving activity.

Incredible Komodo experience
This trip was incredible, the diving in Komodo was fun and a little crazy, so much cool coral, schools of fish, turtles, sharks, rays and the unbelievable Manta rays. Both dive guides, Michelle and Pieter took great care of us and ensured our safety and comfort with the currents. The boat was luxurious and the staff catered to your every need. I highly recommend the master cabin with its own balcony. A great trip, I’d highly recommend and will be doing again!

Our first liveaboard - what a great experience. The entire crew of the Cajoma IV as well as Manta Rhei was great. Michelle picked out the perfect dive sites, where we had almost exclusively to ourselves. The boat as well as the food were also top - we can only recommend it!

Amazing trip on a beautiful boat
We loved our time on the boat. The dive sites, dive master and crew were incredible. We stayed in the master cabin. It was unbelievable!!!! This was by far the best liveaboard we have been on.

A very professional company, we felt safe and well looked after at all times. A warm and generous crew and guides with infectious smiles and enthusiasm. The boat is great, loved eating out on the deck at every meal chatting with the guests and guides at the table. Always an abundance of food- you will not go hungry! Free soft drinks, beers at reasonable prices. Beach towels, hot water showers, a snorkel guide, just so many extras we didn’t expect- particularly gifts on conclusion of the 4 full days. You must book early to secure the Master cabin which is amazing! We would not hesitate to recommend this boat and company. Well done!

Amazing liveaboard in Komodo
We had an amazing experience aboard Cajoma IV! The boat was nice and comfortable, the crew was friendly and helpful. We were only 8 divers on board, which made the experience even better. The dive guides were flexible in selecting dive sites and avoiding big crowds. On top, the food was plentiful and delicious. Overall, a great experience in Komodo National Park. Recommended!

Incredible Experience! Highly Recommend
Diving with Cajoma IV was an incredible experience, through and through. The crew was amazing, the boat was very well maintained, and the dives were fantastic. My friend and I booked the Master Cabin because we wanted to be a bit more comfortable -- not realizing the Master Cabin was a huge room at the back of the boat with our private bathroom and deck! It seemed more fitting for a couple on a honeymoon (they folded our towels into doves in the shape of a heart), but it was awesome nonetheless. There were more crew members than I expected there to be (at least 10) and we had 6 passengers on this trip. The crew members were all extremely friendly and accommodating, always greeting us after our dives, helping us get into our gear, etc. They served breakfast, lunch, and dinner, all delicious and nutritious - the chefs did an amazing job. FYI there is no wifi on the boat. On the last day we also had a group dinner on the top deck that felt really special. We saw so much on the dives, although I will say it was more challenging to dive in Indonesia (this was my first time diving there) as the currents can be very strong. The visibility was not ideal on a couple of the dives, but that is to be expected given the current and did not take away from the overall experience. The dives were pretty structured and we stuck close to the dive masters throughout the entire dive so I never felt lost or unsafe. The star of the dives were the Manta Rays -- we went in November which is Manta season and had multiple opportunities to see them up close. It was a magical experience. We also got to go to the Pink Beach, go on a sunset hike, and visit the village on Komodo Island to see the Komodo dragons which was an unforgettable experience. They planned the itinerary very well. It was well paced and never felt too intense or boring. I can't recommend this liveaboard enough! I would definitely go back and dive with them again.

This Liveaboard trip was super including the dives and the boat itself. The master cabin was so comfortable to stay. Our guide was great to find underwater species. All foods were so delicious. We want to be back to Komodo.

Amazing diving!
We really enjoyed the sunset hike and surface intervals relaxing on the boat. The diving was amazing - so many sharks, turtles and tropical fish! Two of the dive sites were very unique drift dives that I hadn't done before - the divemasters were great at helping us in the current. The food was good - you won't get hungry!

Worth every single penny!
We really enjoyed the good company we had on board - it was a small group mixed from people from eveywhere. Fantastic experience
From the very beginning, we felt part of a close-knit group. The entire staff and guides have done their utmost to make sure nothing is missing and to make every moment unforgettable. The dives were certainly the highlight given the pristine nature of the sites and the skilful organization that allowed us to carry out all the dives safely and above all without other divers not belonging to our group. The best boat for the best dives
The trip couldn't have been better. I had the shared room but there was nobody in the second half of it so I had the entire space to myself! It was huge and incredibly clean. The AC worked well and the food was amazing. There were giant meals every day and fresh fruit served after every dive. When we got back from the treks they had fresh towels waiting for us to cool off. Everyone was so friendly. The dive masters (Rikar and Johanne) were incredible. They did a great job showing us everything (even got to see sharks hunting in the morning!) but kept us very safe. It was my first time night diving and they helped guide us through everything. It was clear this boat is by far one of the best in Indonesia.

Not having to haul any of my own gear for the dives. The staff did everything!. The dive spots were out of this world amazing! And I felt so safe the entire time. The cabins were clean and spacious!.

Cajoma was a great experience. Stunning dive sites, plenty of manta rays & white tipped reef sharks & beautiful coral gardens were the highlights! Topped off with a sunset walk on Padar Island & a pleasant experience at Komodo village. The boat was spacious & the crew were alot of fun & super accomodating. I enjoyed two rest nights in Labuan Bajo either side which was very nice, it's a vibrant little port town with good cafes & resorts.

Everything went above and beyond our expectations. Unforgettable diving experience in Komodo
Diving with Manta Rhei aboard Cajoma IV was an amazing and seamless experience. The ship is well maintained (sadly the jacuzzi was out of order though) and all necessities are provided. The crew is very friendly and are great fun. All to make the experience of the guests as pleasant as possible. The cruise director and guides (thank you Rikard, Janui and Loris) are very experienced and make sure you get most out of each dive and spot the wonderful marine life Komodo has to offer. The food on board was delicious, couldn't get enough of the banana fritters with Nutella haha. Would highly recommend a liveaboard with them!
