First liveaboard trip but won't be our last!
Sooo many fish! Being used to Cozumel diving the visibility wasnt as great but the number of fish and species seen simply cannot compare. Huge schools of barracuda and trevally.

Great Experience!!
I had a great time on the MV Bavaria. World class diving with great dive masters. The food was amazing and the entire crew worked hard to ensure you were enjoying the trip. The dive deck crew was great, helping any time you needed a hand with gear, etc. The rooms were clean and air conditioned. I loved relaxing on the sun deck with a book during surface time and then chilling in the dining area with a beer after the evening dive. This trip was well organized, I’d definitely do it again!!

The Right Attitude
We took a short trip (3-4 days) as an intro to L/As for one of us, and re-intro for another. We also opted to “upgrade” our dive-certifications by taking a class from an instructor on-board. We appreciated the diving schedule which offered 4 dives plus snorkeling opportunities each day. This was welcome because it is easy to over-do it on a L/A. The crew was so incredibly kind, helpful, intuitive, efficient and experienced. Food was delicious and bountiful; not fancy-schmancy…just savory, diverse, fresh, wholesome goodness. We noticed right away that the Similan Islands have been well visited, and dived…but still saw many interesting critters. The dive masters were incredibly knowledgeable, and most important: patient. We came away feeling rewarded and completely satisfied with the experience, gained certification as ‘advanced’ open-water divers, had a great time, met many people from all-over the world, and would have no hesitation doing it all again.

First Liveaboard experience and it didn't disappoint
Richelieu Rock was amazing. The seas were rough, so we couldn't complete all dives at this location, but the area was teeming with life. The night dive with Black Tip Reef Sharks did not disappoint.

Great experience!
This was an amazing trip! We saw tons of underwater life, including octopuses, whale sharks, lobster, crabs, eagle rays, shrimp, eels, snakes, cuddle fish, and many others. The best dive site of the trip was definitely Richelieu Rock. Food was great, and crew were very helpful and friendly. My husband got his advanced open water certificate. Only thing that wasn’t five star was the comfort of the rooms. The AC went out sporadically, and by the third day our bathroom smelled a bit from the marine plumbing system. But this is a very minor complaint. Overall great experience and great value for money. This trip cost approximately half of what we have paid for similar liveaboards on the Great Barrier Reef.
