Highlights
The Black Manta is a 42-meter liveaboard offering diving experiences in the Maldives with 16 spacious, air-conditioned double cabins. 6 of the cabins feature sea views, all equipped with ensuite bathrooms. Designed to accommodate 32 guests, the boat provides ample storage and individually controlled air-conditioning in each cabin.
Beyond the cabins, guests can enjoy al fresco dining with panoramic views, a sunbathing deck, and a relaxation area on the sundeck, complete with massage services. Unforgettable diving experiences on the Black Manta
We had a wonderful ten days on the Black Manta. Everything was excellently organized, the crew incredibly friendly and the food absolutely top and varied. The boat is very comfortable and well equipped.Despite the challenging weather conditions, the captain and Paol guided us safely through the trip and gave us a fantastic diving experience. Our dive guide Shaba took great care of us – always with safety first.Thank you, Black Manta, for the great holidays!

Super experience with Black Manta
We've been in several liveaboard safaries in the last years, but this was the best experience ever. New, big and well maintained boat, wonderfull crew and the best food ever ( the Chef was 5 stars ). We will come back for sure to do the South. Thank you Black Manta Team!

Great boat, Great staff, Great diving!
I was slights concerned that as a French boat I might be the only English speaker, but actually the divers were a really great mixture of nationalities and English was generally used for briefings and information. This is a fabulous luxury boat with large well-appointed cabins and plenty of outside and covered space to relax. The crew could not be more helpful and were so very kind to me on the day I was unwell. The chef even cooked me up some special stomach settling broth. It worked a treat! The dive guides are very friendly and try their best to give the best dives possible whilst managing mixed ability groups. Briefings were good but often plans had to be changed when we reached the sites due to conditions. Flexibility is key out here! We saw plenty of sharks and rays and had a lovely night visit from a juvenile whale shark which was magical. Ten days was a great length for this trip and allowed time to relax into the diving schedule. I would definitely consider this boat again; perhaps for a Deep South Itinerary. The food was generally good and plentiful but, and I am being a little picky here, did become a little "samey" by the end of the trip. Also, stock up on crisps, peanuts and savoury snacks if you are a between snacker as there were only sweet biscuits available for in between meals. All-in-all, it's a highly recommended from me.

A very memorable liveaboard diving trip
Starting this liveaboard diving trip with anticipation, the 8 days and 7 nights itinerary was very happy, the diving, eating, accommodation and socializing were very comfortable, and the staff service was professional, meticulous and friendly. Plan to continue exploring the Madives ocean with Black Manta next time.

Great vibes, great food, and a smooth liveaboard adventure
Overall, the experience was very good and everything was well organized. The crew and service were excellent, and the food was very good. The trip went smoothly, and I would definitely recommend this liveaboard. The only downside was the underwater visuals/visibility, which were not as good as expected. Other than that, everything was fine.

Amazing crew and food
Amazing crew, always a smile on their faces, helping you in everything. It's my fifth life on board in the Maldives and it's the time I've eaten better. The boat is super new and everything is super clean. I will definitely be back next year.

Great staff, beautiful boat, awesome diving
Had a fantastic time on the Black Manta. Simone the trip manager was excellent and the dive guides were phenomenal - they really know and love their work. The boat was new, clean and spacious. My only area for improvement would be to have some savoury snacks available as all the snacks are sweet but that’s very minor. I highly recommend this live aboard

Fantastic diving trip!
The Maldives are a fantastic diving destination! The night dive with Manta rays is an unforgettable experience and the Black Manta is a very good ship. Friendly crew, good food and everything is arranged with care and professionally
