Highlights
The Queenesia II is a beautiful 32meter/105ft long phinisi liveaboard in Indonesia. This boat was built in 2016 and is made of ironwood, making it sturdy and durable. The Queenesia II accommodates up to 16 guests comfortably in 7 cabins: 1 master cabin, 1 main deck double cabin, 3 double cabins, and 2 triple cabins. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, refreshments, and mineral water, as well as tea and coffee, are included in the trip. Dives from Queenesia II follow a 1-to-4 dive guide-to-guest ratio.
The areas visited by Queenesia II include Manta Point, Komodo National Park, Crystal Rock, Castle Rock, and Batu Bolong reef. These areas are known for their stunning corals, abundant fish life, and clear waters. Manta Point is a must-see as this dive spot is known for its large population of Manta Rays, Eagle Rays, Clown Triggerfish, and Unicorn fish. The average visibility in Komodo is 20 to 30 meters, and guests can see Manta Rays & White tip sharks. Crystal Rock is popular due to its colorful corals and diverse fish life, including moray eels, scorpion fish, as well as Tuna and Mackerel. Castle Rock is an excellent spot for seeing larger pelagic fish such as barracuda, trevallies, and mackerel. Sharks are often spotted here as well. Batu Bolong reef is covered in corals, anthias and other reef fish, sharks, napoleon wrasse, and Manta Rays. For macro lovers, there are nudibranchs in the shallow reef area.

Amazing liveaboard experience
This liveaboard trip was outstanding! The crew was welcoming and professional, the dive sites were stunning, and the dive guides were knowledgeable and attentive. Onboard, the cabins were comfortable, the food was excellent, and the shared spaces perfect for relaxing. Every aspect of the trip was well-organized, making it a seamless and unforgettable experience.

Great crew, great location
The boat is very nicely equipped, the common areas are pleasant. The crew went out of their way to make everyone feel comfortable, and to meet any requests. They even did an on island BBQ one night. The reasons I knocked them on value are the lack of nitrox, the fact that anything beyond the basics was an upcharge, and their policies on this were inconsistent as they accept bookings from multiple sites. There are a few mechanical things that need to be worked on, post covid lots of companies have similar issues with equipment needing some TLC.

A lot of fun.
This was my first live aboard and it more than met my expectations. From seeing manta up close to visiting the Piaynemo islands to having beers at sunset all just made this trip memorable. All the boat and dive crew worked as a team to make every activity and mealtime seamless. Negative points. The toilet didn't flush properly, and toilet handheld bidets needed to be reinstalled as they were missing. The room often stank of diesel. The roof in the cabin leaked onto our beds when there was heavy rain.

- The boat crew did an excellent job of preparing and serving meals.. The boat dive crew did an excellent job of preparing and loading the dive gear onto the dive boats.. I couldn't have asked for a better bunch of international diving friends to share this trip with..

Good but could be better
Needs improvement regarding diving management, had lots of issues during the trip. The national park fees were more expensive than advertised on liveaboard.com. The cruise director was on holidays and it really showed, management should have hired a replacement. Ratio with dive guides was not what was advertised on liveaboard.com as we were a group of 4 diving with nitrox and a group of 9 with air. The dive guide Noffre was well intentionned and tried his best all along the trip. I do not agree with the way my dive guide Steven was acting underwater and a report has been made (3 of us in the 4 nitrox divers were diving instructors). The dive crew helping with the gear was not used to take care of the client's own gear but we had a discussion about it and it was all better afterwards. However, the dive sites were all very beautiful, we saw many things small and big ! Apart from diving, the comfort is what you expect with the price paid compared to more luxurious boats, but fairly good enough, the food is mostly local but really good and not too spicy, with lots of fruits. Every boatcrew member is really nice and always smiling ! We had two hikes to see the amazing landcapes, it was a great addition to the whole experience !

Great diving , good rental gear , nice comfortable diving
The diving in Raja Ampat lived up to the reviews of many i have heard as to why it is one of the top dive locations in the world. The islands also make for a stunning scenery of untouched natural beauty. The crew service was great from meals , making the beds, getting our dive gear loaded and unloaded onto the dinghy. If i could suggest an improvement would be better communication on the hike up to Wayag viewing point . Some of the guests with no hiking experience found it difficult and did not feel they were adequately informed of the appropriate shoes to bring. They were able to use the diving boots which worked well enough . The boat was comfortable with air conditioning in the cabins, the bunk was laid out well for ease of getting up and down. Towels provided to dry off after every dive was more than i expected.
