Highlights
Bajak is a newly renovated boat that brings forth a pirate-like atmosphere while maintaining modern-day comforts for 12 guests. Made mostly from ironwood and teakwood salvaged from decommissioned boats, the Bajak operates as a liveaboard boat in the beautiful setting of the Komodo National Park and offers access to one of the richest marine environments in the world including stunning coral reefs, seagrass beds, seamounts, pinnacles, dramatic walls, overhangs, semi-enclosed bays, and Komodo Dragons. The exterior offers a spacious, shaded deck for dive preparation and access to an unshaded rooftop with comfortable bean bags and sun mattresses for tanning and relaxing. The dining table is set right in the open galley. The living space consists of 4 air-conditioned cabins: 1 cabin with a double bed and an en-suite bathroom and 3 shared cabins with 4 bunk beds and 2 shared bathrooms. Additionally, there is a furnished undercover space primed for relaxing and keeping cool.
The itineraries can be set to meet everyone’s picture of a perfect holiday. Complementary to diving are surfing, sailing, snorkeling, and stand-up paddleboarding. Guided walks on the local islands are also possible, allowing one to see the notorious Komodo dragon. Komodo offers some of the best diving in the world, with dive sites such as Manta Point, Batu Balong, and Batu Tiga. The reserve is teeming with diversity. Dugongs, manta rays, white-tip reef sharks, and hawksbill turtles are just a few residents. There is also the option to do your advanced diving course on-site. Do your self a favor and book a trip with them right now!
Do your self a favor and book a trip with them right now! My expectations were low, because the price was too good to be true, but they were knocked out of the park. The staff were amazing: always there to help, made sure everything ran smoothly, everyone was so nice/fun, the dive masters were very skilled… all around good people. The food was soooo yummy and plenty of it! When it come to diving they took us to all of the best spots! The coral is as good as it gets, the amount of fish is mind blowing, manta, sharks, octopus, cuddle fish, everything we wanted to see, we saw, and more! Could not recommend more!

Fantastic dive trip
Fantastic trip! Our guide picked the dive sites flawlessly and were beautiful and full of life, not over run with other dive groups. Did not do much other than diving, so may want to pick something else if you want more of a mix of trekking and island hopping. Food and crew were amazing.

Bajak - Amazing!
I went solo on the Bajak Liveaboard and LOVED my experience. The boat isn't huge, but there were enough areas to relax and unwind. I am coeliac, and the chefs prepared delicious meals that catered to my dietary needs. The dive sites were very diverse and we saw some amazing sea life. The crew were always ready to make you a coffee, or get your dive gear ready - this made the experience even more comfortable. Although the cabins were cosy, the aircon worked a treat. The Bajak is very good value for money - would definitely recommend!

Amazing experience
One of the best experiences I’ve ever had. The trip was fantastic, and Komodo National Park is beautiful, both above and below the surface. The organization was flawless, and the company among the best I’ve ever experienced. If I were to return to Komodo, I would have absolutely no doubts about who to trust for diving again. Thank you so much.

Best Liveaboard Experience – Scuba Republic Komodo
Just returned from a 4-day liveaboard with Scuba Republic, and I can honestly say it was the best liveaboard I’ve ever been on. From start to finish, everything was smooth, safe, and incredibly well-organized. The crew was exceptional — warm, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. You really feel like you’re in good hands from the moment you step on board. A huge shoutout to my dive guide Engel, who made every dive feel safe, exciting, and special. His knowledge of the dive sites and marine life was impressive — we saw tons of sharks, manta rays, stunning coral gardens, and so much more. The itinerary was perfectly planned, with a great mix of adrenaline-filled dives and relaxed reef exploration. Every dive felt like a highlight. The dive equipment was in excellent condition and perfectly prepared for every single dive — something I really appreciated. The boat was clean, comfortable, with delicious food and plenty of space to relax between dives. 👉 If you’re looking for a liveaboard in Komodo, this is the one to book. It’s simply the best. I’m already dreaming of my next trip with Scuba Republic!

5 star dive trip!
I'm not very experience with diving so naturally I was nervous about the currents in Komodo. My guide Franck was patient and knowledgeable, briefing us in exceptional detail before dives making sure we are confident and comfortable. He's also so passionate about local culture and we had many nice chats during surface intervals. I highly recommend diving with Scuba Republic and sailing on Bajak!

Great Liveaboard with stunning dive sites
We had an amazing time on the Bajak with the crew from Scuba Republic Komodo. The Dive Locations picked were absolutely amazing and the dive guides were super experienced, calm and gave great dive briefings. The food on the boat was beyond what we expected. A decent variety with fresh fruits and vegetables for every meal while there obviously had to be a bit of fried food since preparation space and facilities are limited. We had the Master cabin and in terms of size and general design it was absolutely fine, the only downside was that once the generator switched off at night, there was quite a loud squeaky noise every time the boat moved side to side. So earplugs recommended if you’re a light sleeper. We also struggled a bit with nausea because with bigger waves it can get quite tough in the cabin but that is probably to be expected on a boat. Overall we were very satisfied with the service we got and the crew, guides and also remaining guests on board made the experience an absolute blast. Thanks again to Scuba Republic!
