The Carpe Diem liveaboard is well-known for having a focus on superior service and quality. There are 10 cabins onboard spread over 3 decks with the choice of cabin standards, each with en-suite bathrooms and AC. On the lower deck are 6 standard cabins, 4 of which have 2 single beds which can be converted to doubles and the other 2 each have one single bed and one semi bunk bed. On the main deck are two double cabins with queen size beds and the upper deck has 1 deluxe cabin with a queen bed and 1 suite with a king bed. All main and upper deck cabins feature a smart TV and stunning sea views. Social areas are spread out over 3 decks and encompass an indoor salon, outdoor terrace and dining area, and sundeck with comfortable loungers.
Dive itineraries aboard the MV Carpe Diem liveaboard are 7 or 10-nights long and explore some of the best dive sites in the Maldives, including Kudarah Thila, Manta Point, Maaya Thila, Fish Head, and Machafushi wreck. Get up close with mantas, whale sharks, nurse sharks, reef sharks, turtles, and huge schools of fish in the stunning Indian Ocean. The incredibly experienced dive crew is on hand to ensure the perfect Maldives liveaboard experience. Diving takes place from the dedicated diving Dhoni, where there is plenty of room for gear storage, rinsing, and kitting up. Free nitrox is also available for those certified.

An unforgettable experience that you will never forget.
The diving holiday on safari was just amazing! From the first moment we felt super comfortable on board. The crew was extremely friendly, helpful and professional – you can tell right away that there is a real passion for diving behind it.The dive sites were breathtaking: crystal clear waters, impressive reefs and a fascinating variety of marine life. We noticed particularly positively that care was always taken to approach spots that are not overcrowded, so you could enjoy the underwater world in peace. We saw countless rays, manta rays, hammerhead sharks. There was no dive where we didn't see a shark. Individual wishes were also flexibly responded to in coordination with all guests, which made the experience even more personal.A big praise also goes to our diving instructor Wathey: He was always there when you needed support underwater, always made sure that everything ran safely, and at the same time made sure that we could discover the most beautiful highlights.The crew was in a great mood throughout, which made the atmosphere on board particularly pleasant. The team on the dinghy was also very helpful at all times and did a great job.The organization on board went smoothly, everything was perfectly coordinated and stress-free. The food was also top – fresh, varied and always delicious. After the dives, you could relax wonderfully and enjoy the time with like-minded people.For us it is already clear: We will definitely book the boat for the southern route again! Overall, an unforgettable experience that I would repeat at any time. Totally recommended for those who love adventure, nature and diving!

An Unforgettable Maldives Experience – 10/10 Highly Recommended!
From the moment we met the team representative at the airport until the very last second of our trip, everything went incredibly smoothly. We were warmly welcomed at the arrival terminal, assisted with our bags, and seamlessly transported to our main vessel. Upon arriving at the Carpe Diem, we were greeted with a delicious welcome drink. Right from the start, the team prioritized safety, presenting the safety protocols while we enjoyed our drinks—a detail that was extremely important to me. World-Class Crew & Seamless Diving The entire crew was professional, friendly, and supportive 24/7. The Staff: Everyone—from the captain and main manager to the barman and supporting staff—went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The Dive Team: The dive guides were exceptional. They, along the staff members on the boat, meticulously helped us set up our gear for every dive and provided thorough, detailed dive briefings beforehand. They were always there for us. The boys refilled our tanks before every dive and were literally there for anything and everything we needed. The room: Cleaned twice a day, and pretty spacious! Exceptional Dining (100 out of 10!) The food was beyond amazing, featuring incredible variety and fresh, delicious fruit every single day. Between breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks—with coffee and water always available—we were thoroughly spoiled. Buffet style. As someone with dietary restrictions, I was deeply impressed by the chef's effort. He went out of his way for every single meal to ensure I had more than enough to eat, even personally approaching me to guide me through which dishes were safe for me. Going the Extra Mile Until the Very End This was my mom’s very first liveaboard experience, and she completely fell in love with it. The crew’s hospitality truly shone on our final day; because we had an early flight, they organized an early airport transfer. Our dive guide even accompanied us all the way into the terminal until we were safely checked in. We are so incredibly thankful for this experience. If we get the chance to return to the Maldives, we would choose this exact vessel and crew without a second thought. Thank you so much to the entire Carpe Diem team! We highly, highly recommend them to anyone looking to dive in the Maldives!

One of the best time of my life, I'd do it again in a heartbeat if I can.
I enjoy every minutes of the trip. Diving everyday, resting, watching the endless sea before your eyes and temporarily forget all your worries. The trip exceeds my expectation and I can't wait to come back in the future.

Amazing trip - great dives - great people
We saw so many different sharks and their was practically no other divers it was amazing. First time diving with Nitrox and all worked perfectly. Very professional crew. Not the last time I go on a liveaboard :-)

Ideal live-aboard dive holiday
Mid day snacks and all meals were excellent. The made local traditional food as well as typical western food. They even shared recipes with us. Everyone on the boat was very attentive to our needs. The dive guides were very professional and had great pre-dive briefings. Even the bar keeper was super friendly helping me stop dolphins. Book any trip with the Carpe Maldives company and you will be more than satisfied.

From Tiger Sharks to Nighttime Whale Sharks: A Truly Special Maldives Liveaboard
We just finished a fantastic liveaboard trip in the Deep South of Maldives with Carpe Diem and overall had a wonderful experience. One of the biggest highlights was the incredible wildlife we encountered throughout the trip. We were lucky enough to see tiger sharks, thresher sharks, grey reef sharks, silvertip sharks, and mantas. One particularly unforgettable moment happened one evening when the crew set up a light at the back of the boat, which attracts plankton — and with it, large marine life. That night three whale sharks came to feed under the boat. Those of us who wanted jumped in with fins, snorkel and cameras. The whale sharks were feeding right in front of us only a few meters away, while devil rays were gliding past below us. The dive guides, Munkko, Saaz, and Wathey, were excellent: professional, knowledgeable and clearly passionate about the ocean. Their briefings were clear, they managed the groups very well and helped us get the most out of each dive. Life on the boat was also very enjoyable. The food was very good with plenty of variety, and the boat crew were outstanding — always friendly, helpful and attentive. They worked incredibly hard behind the scenes to make everything run smoothly and create a relaxed atmosphere on board. Interestingly, the boat was supposed to host 20 guests, but in the end there were only the two of us and three other guests due to the current situation in the Middle East and consequently disrupted flights and travel plans. The 5 of us immediately became friends and had such a fun time together throughout the trip. It also worked out perfectly for diving, as we were very much in sync both above and under water — our diving style and air consumption were very similar, which made the dives especially smooth and enjoyable. The only downside for us was the size of our cabin. We had the main deck cabin called “Sea”, which felt quite small with limited space to move around and store gear. The bed, however, was very comfy! It wasn’t a major issue since most of the time is spent diving or relaxing on deck, but it’s something to be aware of. The cabins on the upper deck and the lower deck, which our friends had, were noticeably more spacious — and one small suggestion for the crew: adding Velcro to keep the roll-down curtains from swaying, letting in light or making noise while cruising, would make sleeping even more comfortable (the upper deck cabins already had this). Overall it was a fantastic liveaboard experience with an amazing team and unforgettable diving.
