The Carpe Diem liveaboard is well-known for having a focus on superior service and quality. There are 10 cabins onboard spread over 3 decks with the choice of cabin standards, each with en-suite bathrooms and AC. On the lower deck are 6 standard cabins, 4 of which have 2 single beds which can be converted to doubles and the other 2 each have one single bed and one semi bunk bed. On the main deck are two double cabins with queen size beds and the upper deck has 1 deluxe cabin with a queen bed and 1 suite with a king bed. All main and upper deck cabins feature a smart TV and stunning sea views. Social areas are spread out over 3 decks and encompass an indoor salon, outdoor terrace and dining area, and sundeck with comfortable loungers.

Dive itineraries aboard the MV Carpe Diem liveaboard are 7 or 10-nights long and explore some of the best dive sites in the Maldives, including Kudarah Thila, Manta Point, Maaya Thila, Fish Head, and Machafushi wreck. Get up close with mantas, whale sharks, nurse sharks, reef sharks, turtles, and huge schools of fish in the stunning Indian Ocean. The incredibly experienced dive crew is on hand to ensure the perfect Maldives liveaboard experience. Great in every way!
This was a great trip. The boat is spacious, clean & comfy. Dining was at an outdoor table, which prompted socialization among all. The food was amazing! The crew was friendly & helpful. The diving was mostly drift & current, in super warm, 85F water. We saw sharks, sharks, mantas, & more sharks. The highlight were 2 close encounters with whale sharks! While hooked in, 1 whale shark swam right over us, so closely. The other was hanging out behind the boat at night & stayed over an hour. People could be in the water w/ it or stand above, inches from it. What an incredible trip!!!

Excellent boat and a great week of diving
Carpe Diem is a very large & well laid out boat. The standard twin cabin was very large and well appointed. Food and drinks were excellent, one of the best menus I have experienced on a liveaboard trip. Daily fresh towels were provided for after the dives. Dive Briefings were well run & the organisation of the boat, dives, briefing, safety was all to a very high standard.

Amazing crew along with fantastic dives to make the a perfect dive vacation.
What a fantastic trip we had! The crew does everything in their might to make this liveaboard a perfect cruise. Underwater, we saw sharks on 95% of our dives, plenty of mantas, along with other rays and giants schools of fish. The food was also a highlight with the chef keeping us full between dives :)

Deeply grateful for this trip
The diving with Munkko and Redey was simply amazing! Every dive turned out to be something special :) They made the right choices, they really know where to go at the right time of the day. We had a lot of laughs, jokes and even under water we were having a lot of fun (careful, you can swallow a lot of salt water when laughing during a dive...). Our Sri Lankan chef made us putting on some kilos during only one week. Very fresh and tasty food! The whole crew from the roomboy to the captain were exceptionally friendly. Thank you so much, Carpe Diem Crew! I'm already watching out for the next holidays to spend at the Maldives with you!

Amazing trip - great dives - great people
We saw so many different sharks and their was practically no other divers it was amazing. First time diving with Nitrox and all worked perfectly. Very professional crew. Not the last time I go on a liveaboard :-)

Manta rays and sharks were screaming.
Didn't you see any whale sharks, but I was able to carefully observe the sharks sleeping!The staff is helpful. The friends I dived with were also wonderful and had good memories. I recommend it.

Me and my boyfriend really enjoyed this liveaboard
We realised a dream to snorkel with whale sharks. All the dives were wonderful. It was super that each one of us recieved his own bottle for the trip. If we can suggest something, I'm sure you could improve the ecological way in reducing all the wrappings (tea, coffee, sugar, cookies...) you can have boxes with loose coffee per example.

Astonishing trip with many sharks and mantas
Very good arrangement of the whole dive trip, professional and patient briefing before every dive. Nice crew can take care every scope so that we can fully into diving. Delicious foods can help us recovery quickly after each diving. Memorable experience when night diving and attract manta with torch. Make many new friends from different countries.

Good times cruising the Southern Maldives
The scenery while cruising around the Maldivian Atolls is stunning. The Diving was good and water’s warm, even though the highlight dives are artificial. The Boat was comfortable and the Crew were accommodating.

A week in heaven on the Carpe Diem
Our first time on a week long liveaboard. Fabulous! The Carpe Diem was kept clean and well run. The dive lead Munkko was excellent at keeping everyone informed. All the crew was friendly and attentive and all the dive guides were helpful and pleasant. Munkko was our private guide for the week and was extremely knowledgeable and went above and beyond to work on improving skills with my 16 year old and helped me obtain my advanced certification. The dive sites were carefully picked daily. Of course wildlife doesn’t always comply. We checked many reef shark cleaning stations with great rewards but the mantas were elusive until we were snorkeling on the last day. They found tons of macro life. We also went diving at a spot with large sharks in Male by the marina and enjoyed lemon, tiger and bull sharks along with giant rays. Incredible. The beach bar b que night was a night shore break at a beautiful location under the stars. Fabulous operation. Smoothly run. Great crew. Beautiful part of the world.

Fantastic week's diving with a great crew and guides.
We really had a fantastic time. The best live aboard experience we have had. The diving was amazing and the crew incredibly efficient, hard working and fun. The highlight has to be the manta rays at night, all the sharks and beautiful reefs. Our dive guide Wathey was excellent as were all the guides. The cabins were comfortable and always clean and there were changes in towels every day. The food was excellent Highly recommend

The diving was better than I expected. The boat was spacious and the cabin and ensuite had plenty of room. Food was plentiful. The crew were fantastic-helped with everything and looked after us. The dhoti was well equipped and the ladder made getting out of the water a breeze. I will go again

Despite ropey weather (extending shoulder season), the trip was amazing, saw everything I wanted, safely and efficiently. Great team. Food was really good, and much better than I expected. Worth knowing you get into Male on Friday pm 1600, might have done other things as Male is not the best part of the (amazing) Maldives

My favourite liveaboard
In the first 2 days of diving, we had seen more than we could have hoped for in the entire week! Every dive was fantastic. The whole trip was amazing due to friendly, helpful and extremely knowledgeable crew. It is by far my favourite liveaboard and I cannot recommend them enough.

This Trip was again a Highlight for Safaricruises in the maledives. Excellence helpful Crew and Instructors, bevor, during and after the dives. Vessel is a little bit older but good in shape and technical top. Highlights: i‘ve enjoyed all offered 25dives. We have had chopy water conditions in the north of maledives, so they changed the route. This was absolutly no problem for me, because the have orderd a Inland flight for me from Male to Dharavandhoo. Great Trip

Great Dive Week
We had a great week on Carpe Diem. Helpful and friendly service/staff, excellent food, food choices left nothing to be desired, even for vegetarians. The captain and dhoni crew did a great job navigating difficult weather conditions, as did the dive guides. Special thanks to Munkko! He is very knowledgable and a lot of fun to dive with.
