By the end of the trip most of us onboard were frustrated and disappointed.

All the above were great, but although we got to swim with mobula rays a number of time and witnessed them jumping numerous times we did not get to be with orcas at all and spent an inordinate amount of each day aimlessly searching for them. This resulted in much less time snorkeling than we hoped for. The last full day on the boat we didn't get in the water at all, but spent more than 7 hours in our snorkel gear in the rigid inflatable boat just, as it turned out purposelessly looking. There were, unfortunately a number of days with very little time in the water. The divemaster was not very communicative and offered little information about what was happening and had to be asked if we could go in the water and often to no avail. In addition, there was a lot of marketing about a spotter airplane, but in the entire week we never saw it and it was no help. Many of us on the trip felt frustrated and disappointed by the end of the week. I cannot recommend this trip and found in retrospect the marketing for it was misleading.

The Sea of Cortez and Galant Lady disapointing

They got a late start because they could not find the key to the skiff. When we got on board, there were very few instructions on where to store things and set up. The crew seemed very disorganized. None of the dives went on schedule, and several dives did not happen. The visibility was horrible, and the water below 40 feet was frigid. Several of the dive sites were boring. Diving the Sea of Cortez will not be on future dive plans.

The hostess (Mar) was the best ever. Fun group. See the Seals.

Great crew and fun guests.

This small, older boat has the benefit of a small group of guests. However, the boat is noisy when transiting, which they do at night, so very difficult to sleep! Also there were several boat issues that resulted in us leaving port more than 12 hours late and often being late on the dive schedule throughout our short trip. We missed out on three dives during our already short trip. The crew were friendly, helpful and tried their best to make everyone happy. Chef prepared generous, delicious meals. Mother nature wasn't kind to us, cold water currents and low visibilty made for disappointing diving. We did see and dive with sea lions.
