Join the Discovery II liveaboard for a dive trip to remember in the Red Sea. Completely renovated in 2018, she offers bright, modern living space for up to 22 divers in 11 cabins. There are 6 standard cabins with twin side-by-side beds on the lower deck along with 1 Honeymoon Suite, and a further 4 Honeymoon Suites are on the upper deck. All cabins feature ensuite bathrooms, AC, and storage space, and the Honeymoon Suites are also fitted with a minibar, entertainment system, and large beds. On the main are an airconditioned bright and modern dining room and salon. The upper deck is home to the outdoor lounge and bar area, the perfect place to mingle and swap fish tales at the end of the day. The top deck has a large partially shaded sun deck with loungers.
Itineraries aboard the Discovery II are generally 7 nights, and visit the best dive areas in Egypt. Red Sea diving is available year-round, and dive areas visited include the Straits of Tiran, Brothers, Ras Mohammed, Thistlegorm, Abu Nuhas, Brothers, Daedalus & Elphinstone. The large dive deck at the back of the boat make gearing up easy, and 2 dive tenders are on hand for dive site drop off and pick up. Nitrox is also available for those certified.

Excellent staff service and food onboard
I had an excellent diving trip – everything was very well organized and overall outstanding, from the diving itself to the equipment, food, service, and dive guides. The only point for improvement would be the cleanliness of the cabin toilets and lockers, which was borderline and could definitely be optimized.

Absolute all-round feel-good package for divers
Highlights were the wonderful underwater world, the flexibility of the guides to respond to our wishes and the very nice atmosphere on board

- The marine life and animals were breathtaking. We saw a 4m manta ray. In addition, our request to see the wreck of the Salem Express was accommodated. After each dive, we were awaited by the chef with snacks or meals that resemble a feast.

Dive trip without lifting a finger
The crew was so helpful with the dive gear before and after the dives. The chef made delicious food 4 times a day. Big boat with a lots of space inside and outside areas to enjoy.

Amazing week with discovery liveaboards
Had a fantastic week with the Samira visiting the BDE route. Diving was great, the boat was new and spacious, food was out of this world. Would definitely go again!

Cuisine on top quality, breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack, dinner delicious every time and several dishes to choose from, even people who had special requests were taken care of. Friendly and helpful crew: before and after the dive, several people helped and would even take off your suit, very committed and courteous. Dive guides with good experience, great briefings and well conducted dives. At this time of the year, at the beginning of April, there are not so many liveaboards and other divers on the way.Small but fine boat for someone who likes to dive in a smaller circle, goes on vacation.
