Highlights
The MV Lapat is a liveaboard that accommodates a maximum of 16 guests, providing an intimate and personalized diving experience in Thailand’s Andaman Sea. There are 2 cabin types available: 2 Master cabins with en-suite bathrooms and 6 air-conditioned twin cabins with shared facilities. All bathrooms are stocked with eco-friendly toiletries, and hot water showers are available in the Master cabins.
The boat features an indoor salon equipped with a TV and entertainment system, a shaded outdoor dining area, and a spacious sundeck with comfortable mattresses and partial shade, ideal for relaxing between dives. Meals are freshly prepared and served buffet-style, offering a delicious mix of Thai and Western cuisine. Guests also enjoy freshly brewed coffee on board, a favorite among divers. Whether lounging or dining, MV Lapat provides a comfortable and social setting for divers to unwind.
Trips aboard MV Lapat range from 3- to 4-night itineraries exploring world-renowned dive sites including the Similan Islands, Koh Bon, Koh Tachai, Richelieu Rock, and the Surin Islands. Expect up to 15 dives on the longer itinerary, with opportunities for sunrise, sunset, or night dives. The experienced crew, with over 30 years in the Andaman Sea, ensures safe and exciting dive adventures. Hotel transfers are included, and non-overnight day divers are welcome to join for select dives.

Please note: Lapat liveaboard may also collect divers for day diving during its cruise itinerary. These divers will dive from the boat during the day but not necessarily stay on board overnight.

The first liveaboard was satisfying and met expectations
The team members were friendly, the organization was well-organized, the dive guide was diligent and responsible, the food on board was delicious, and we visited all the classic dive sites along the Similan North Line. Our previous expectations mostly met expectations, and I was satisfied with my first liveaboard experience

Incredible dive guides, safe, organized, and truly unforgettable underwater experience.
I had an amazing time on the MV Lapat liveaboard in Thailand! The boat itself was comfortable, and the crew ran a well-organized operation. The absolute highlight, though, was the dive guides—they were exceptional. Each dive, they gave thorough briefings, kept a close eye on everyone, and really knew how to spot the hidden marine life—from tiny nudibranchs to big mantas. I always felt safe and well-guided. If you’re looking for a solid, friendly crew and a great diving experience, I can’t recommend them enough!

A pleasant and relaxing trip with a great crew
The liveaboard was a good experience overall, with a pleasant atmosphere and a supportive crew. The organization on the boat worked well, and everything felt safe and structured. Dives were enjoyable with spectacular and diverse marine. It was a nice way to spend time.

Opened up a new way of diving
Meeting lots of different people from numerous countries and of course the diving. Diving on Richelieu rock was incredible. The boat was brilliant not too big. The staff and the food were exceptional ;)

Amazing 1st liveaboard experience - wish we stayed longer!
We absolutely loved our 4 day trip. The only negative was leaving. The dive sites were amazing, our guide Pao was the best (he even took us to an incredible dinner back on the mainland), and the entire boat crew was phenomenal. The meals were A+ and we met some awesome people. Dive gear was solid and wait times to get in the water were minimal (even on days with the most day divers). Marja (boat leader/director) was awesome as well - she handled everything efficiently and made sure we were up to speed ahead of every dive.

Too many divers on the boat
Under water was great! Dive guide was wonderful but the boat is older and tired. There were way too many day trip divers on board which meant that it took 2 hours to get everyone in and out of the water as groups went in stages.
