Highlights
The M/Y Aqua liveaboard in the Galapagos offers the choice of 7-night diving itineraries or 3, 4 or 5-night naturalist itineraries. Nine cabins spread over 3 decks cater to 16 guests onboard and a choice of twin or matrimonial bedding. Each room features a private en-suite bathroom, individually controlled air-conditioning, and storage space. Main and upper deck cabins also have picture windows to offer sea views. Social areas dotted around the yacht include a shaded outside lounge, sun deck, indoor lounge, and library and dining area. The cuisine served on board combines local Ecuadorian and international cuisine.
A wide range of activities is included in all itineraries, giving guests a chance to get up close and experience the unique wildlife of the Galapagos Islands. Naturalist cruises include guided hikes, bird-watching, and incredible photography opportunities. Divers will be blown away by the amazing marine biodiversity, with the chance to see whale sharks, schooling hammerheads, and even Mola Mola. A spacious dive deck has plenty of room for kitting up and gear storage. Two diving tenders make diving from the MY Aqua a comfortable experience, and enriched air nitrox is available for those certified. Divers will also receive a personal marine rescue GPS, a storm whistle, a diving beacon, and a surface marker tube for added safety and peace of mind.
Note: 50 logged dives is the minimum required experience for the Aqua, due to the more advanced conditions of certain dive sites.

Friendly liveaboard with great food
Overall, the trip was really enjoyable. We saw lots of sealife and the crew was friendly and helpful. There were 6 dives at Wolf Island at the same repeated dive site, and 5 dives at Wolf at the same two dive sites. The aim of these dives was to see sharks. We saw lots of different sharks, which was great, but it would have been better to mix it up more and do more dives in the other islands as well.

Amazing experience worth repeating
My first trip to Galapagos . I have enjoyed every minute of it. Crew of Aqua were devoted, hard working. Cabin cleaned spotlessly. Diving instructors ( specially Max ) made our dives special every time. Food was amazing, well above expectations. Would be more than happy to go again!

Easy 10 out of 10
Diving the Galapagos was a bucket list item. This trip crossed it off and then immediately put it right back on again. Daniel and Jesus were brilliant dive guides and ensured we saw everything there was. The crew are brilliant too and work well together. They operate like ninjas where tasks are done without you even seeing or asking. Well oiled machine!

Nitrox should have been included in the price, since it us almost compulsiry to use it in this kind of diving trip. For the rest, all very good and pleasant. Extraordinary dive masters

Fantastic One-Week Diving Trip on Aqua
My boyfriend and I went on a one-week liveaboard trip on Aqua, and it was an amazing experience! The boat was simple but very well maintained, and the staff was fantastic—extremely friendly and professional. They took care of everything we needed. The dive guides were excellent and explained everything clearly. The rental diving equipment seemed new and in great condition. We loved all the dives, even though we traveled during the warmer season, which is considered less popular than the colder months for liveaboards in the Galápagos. Still, we saw plenty of marine life, and it was worth every dollar! The service on board was excellent. The boat was always clean, and the food was delicious and varied. There were also snacks and juices after the dives, which we really appreciated. I highly recommend this liveaboard—it’s absolutely worth it!

Aqua liveaboard
I'm 67, with 500+ dives, and this was my first liveaboard, so I was a bit anxious. But, the trip fulfilled all my expectations, the crew is the best, food was excellent, the dive guides did their best to show us everything that is "available" this time of the year.

Fantastic trip!
We saw lots of sharks, eagle and manta rays, even a couple mola mola and marine iguanas. The rental equipment is well maintained and safety is priority. The crew kept the boat clean, always helpful with any concerns and always with a smile. The dive guides are also naturalists with lots of info while on the panga rides and giving informative talks about the islands in the evenings. Only thing I would change is the beer to the Pilsener! 😁
