Highlights
M/V Andaman liveaboard is a 26mtr/85ft long steel-hulled vessel operating in beautiful Thailand. It has 6 cabins, all with air conditioning, and can accommodate up to 20 guests. Four of the cabins are double with two featuring their own ensuite bathrooms. The other two doubles and two dorm-style cabins use shared bathroom facilities. All cabins are located on the lower deck but feature sea-view windows in each one. The dive deck, where divers store gear and get ready for dives, is also located at the stern of the lower deck. On the middle deck is a spacious dining & meeting area, perfect for meals, dive briefings, and playing games. The upper deck has an open-air sun deck with mattresses and bean bags, perfect for relaxing in the sunshine. For those who prefer some shade, there is a shaded canopy with table and seating areas beneath.
Andaman liveaboard runs 3, 4 & 7-night itineraries to some of the top spots in the Andaman sea. The 3 & 4 nights options can be combined to make the 7-night itinerary for optimum choice and flexibility. Visiting some of Thailand's top dive spots such as the Similan Islands, Surin Islands, Koh Bon, Koh Tachai & Richelieu Rock.

Very good liveaboard for a fair price
Very friendly and efficient crew. Good organisation. Good food (mostly Thai). And of course very good dives, especially Richelieu Rock and Koh Tachai (without much current for once) that were fabulous as usual

Excellent value for money
High school class trip vibes, in a very good sense – just the right balance of professionalism, reasonable limits, and plenty of fun. Seamless organization, great divers, excellent boat and crew. The food and really affordable drink options on board are worth a special mention too. Also really lucky with the lack of early season crowds and nice weather. Dive sites are not all world class but it's been a nice build up to the absolute highlight: Richelieu Rock.

Incredibly fun experience with some great diving, great people and great food
I had an incredible time on the 4D 4N liveaboard on the MV Andaman. There are way too many positives and pretty much no negatives. Pros: 1) Amazing dive guides 2) Fun and friendly atmosphere on the boat 3) Very spacious boat with several spots to lounge around 4) Extremely helpful boat crew providing almost white-glove service 5) Delicious, large portions of food and free soft drinks! You aren’t left wanting for anything 6) Amazing diving. Sea Dragon is the oldest dive center in the area (30+ years) so know the sites like the back it their hand 7) Super inexpensive Cons: 1) You’d hate leaving the boat and feel the blues for several weeks afterwards :)

Great value for money
Great value for money. The food is amazing. The crew and dive guides are awesome. Stephan led the crew and I had Svante as my guide. Super awesome. The sites were great. I got to swim side by side with a turtle , spent a few minutes watching an octopus kaleidoscope. This is not a place for large pelagics… but the rock formations and fishes are awesome. 😎 Don’t expect wifi to work because cell towers are rare and star link is banned. Overall, for what I spent, it was worth it. I’ll do it again.

Harmonious, familiar liveaboard with a great mix of experienced dive guides & boat crew as well as involvement of all guests!!
- Dives at Richelieu Rock were spectacular, especially the fact that the most experienced diving group with PSak dived into the strong current again at the end (where most of the fish were, of course)
- Recommended for
- Dive guides all very competent and great mix; good harmony and family atmosphere among each other (very authentic and not artificial) and also with the guests. Boat crew is also very competent and has everything under control (especially the top kitchen). very good mix of fun diving and attention to all safety aspects with a great supervisor Lucinda.

Amazing experience
The Dive sites were amazing but the staff, Lucinda is the absolute best, so patient, knowledgeable, friendly amazing!! The boat boys Minout, Lek, new, boo, pi lek and the chef Pi Oi!! Amazing I loved them all. All of the staff were brilliant. Was the best time and experience of a lifetime! I hope we can come back!

This liveaboard was the highligt of our trip to Thailand
Beside the amazing staff and the people onboard we saw a lot of corals and different colorful fish and slogs. We will definitely do a Liveaboard in the Similan islands again!

- The staff from Sea Dragon was beyond amazing and we had the best group with such lovely different people from all over the world. The best thing though was the cook Pi Oi 🩷 She cooked the most delicious food and was so funny at the barbecue (which became an actual party).
