Livesboard that lives up to its dual mission of safety and the enjoyment of guests. Lovely diving that is not overly challenging. No big stuff but an abundance of marine life on healthy corals. Highly
We had a relaxed and enjoyable time on the Phinisi. All the crew are very friendly and welcoming and we felt in safe hands. They could not have done more.

Excellent trip where to sharpen your diving skills
I needed more dives before attempting Raja Ampat and spots if such level, farther away. Excellent place where to gain experience, safely, in comfort, at a reasonable price (what it would cost you per dive in Europe but on the beautiful Phinisi, all inclusive, with minimal equipment hassle, and 27C waters at 20m). We could not see any pelagics though, and the sea was choppy, preventing us from exploring Richelieu Rock (we just went once in low visibility). I've learnt nothing is guaranteed on the seas over several days. But overall excellent experience, certainly at my level.

Outstanding, such a hard-working crew, exceptionally high standards!
I cannot recommend the Phinisi as a liveaboard experience more enough - this was the most incredible and professional liveaboard I have been on. From the safety briefings, to the dive sites, to the food, the onboard pharmacy, the aesthetic of the wooden boat (with functional sails…!) it was all amazing. The crew are incredibly friendly, professional and fun - the boat is so spacious with lots of areas to hang out and have space from other members, and the cabins are all air conditioned with en suites and so comfortable! The diving was beautiful with Richieu Rock being a stand out dive site - highly recommend taking the crews advice and getting up early as the site can become crowded with lots of divers - but it is so worth it. We didn’t have as many big fish i.e. mantas, whale sharks but we went early November which is slightly out of season - and sadly the water was very warm (the bigger fish liking cooler water). All in all an absolutely outstanding experience with the crew making the effort to put the sails up on our last day which was so special - and it truly is the most beautiful boat on the Andaman Sea!

Would do it again!
This was my first liveaboard experience and I am so happy that I chose the Phinisi. Naturally, I was a little nervous because I wasn’t sure what my skill was like in comparison to other diverse who might have done this many time. My dive master was very reassuring and checked in on me throughout the dive and the trip. One thing I must point out, though is that they will not put the sail up which is understandable because it’s a lot of work for a short trip. It wasn’t an issue, but I just wanted to point that out.

awesome, even for a first-timer.
My personal achievement of being able to deploy a SMB. Better bouyancy. First time doing night dive (and not afraid of it). The ITININRY certainly facilitated all these, nice dive masters, and accomodating guests (we just laughed over it someone made mistakes like forgetting the masks or went into the waters without fins)

- The family-like bonding amongst thr guests, crew and staff. Chill-out nature of the schedule (we are afterall on a holiday right), and people care for guests who were ill.

Second time for me
There are so many things about this trip, it is hard to state any one on its own, the crew were great and nothing and I mean nothing was to much hassel, and this applies to any time in the day or night. the diving was great too, there are so many reefs and all have their own unique personality if you can attibute that to a reef, for me it was the crew on the boat that made the difference and will be diving with them again.

Solo diving in the riches of Richelieu Rock Surin and Similan
Absolutely amazing crew on board the Phinisi. With Marco lead dive instructor giving in depth briefing, good explanation and organisation of groups. My dive guide Guitar was super friendly and knowledgeable. She was put in some difficult situations with environment and other more demanding, less experienced divers. She handled herself well in some non-favourable events. The crew were all amazing, from captain and his deck team to the galley, hospitality and host. They all made the effort to make this a memorable liveaboard and even had a chance to put the sails up for photo opportunities. Unfortunately, during this time of year and luck we were visited by the green monster. Something mother nature cannot change. Best dive site was Richelieu Rock, an abundance of life underwater. Incredible site. Would 100% recommend anyone to join the Phinisi on their next liveaboard trip in Thailand!

Wonderful diving and crew
This was our first liveaboard trip, and the Phinisi did not disappoint. We had a great experience onboard—absolutely nothing to complain about. The crew did everything possible to ensure a safe, fun, and relaxing trip. The food was amazing, with a ton of healthy options to choose from.
