The crew and dive guides of the Horizon III liveaboard are among the most experienced in the Maldives, boasting over 15 years of experience diving in the region. They know all the best spots to escape the crowds. Beautiful liveaboard in the Maldives
Had a beautiful liveaboard that left nothing to be desired. The crew and dive guides went out of their way to make for a pleasant experience. A spontaneous route change, which was discussed with all divers, led to unforgettable dives with manta rays and whale sharks. We also got to see some sharks. A big thank you to the captain, the entire ship's crew and also the dive guides. That's exactly how I introduced my first liveaboard. An unforgettable experience with the Horizon 3.

Amazing Diving!
Lots of sharks, manta rays, fishingfromback of boat. Amazing diving. My wife was able to snorkel with nurse sharks, manta rays and we saw coral reefs, schools of beautiful fish. Thinking about coming back.

great dive trip with lots of great dive sites
Great dive trip to 4.The cabins were spacious enough for us and were cleaned several times a day. The crew was very friendly and helpful, but not too intrusive. The dive sites have been adapted according to weather conditions and circumstances. In some cases, the guests were also involved here, which we found very positive. The boat had 4 diving guides with 17 guests, which meant that the groups could be divided very well according to ability and thus you could dive more individually under water (thanks Maa'dhu and Cha Cha). The BBQ on the island was great (here you could also get snacks and drinks cheaper than on board).Otherwise, we had great dives and a night snorkeling with manta rays and nurse sharks. Great experience.Criticisms:- Nitrox not included - should be standard today.- 3 dives of 30 meters a day, also with guests without nitrox. One diver had signs of DCS, she was given oxygen but no doctor was called in (but the diver was to blame herself through a yo-yo dive).- the food was of good quality, but unfortunately with little variety. There is definitely room for improvement here and we know much better from other boats.

Great experience for decent price.
Nurse Shar zoo was quite an experience, lots of sharks, whale shark snorkeling was also a success, despite high competition from other boats. Great food and wide variety of it. Highly recommend central route.

Thank you for the wonderful trip!
Diving in the Maldives is always an adventure and a great pleasure! Even if the Horizon 3 is not the newest boat and they could do some more maintenance work ( f.e. on the Dhoni and the sunbeds ) the crew was a big gift. Maa‘dhu as the Cruise Director was always keeping up the good spirit on Board and Cha Cha as a Guide did a great job. Also the rest of the crew was always friendly and did a good job!The briefing was great and in detail and the diving often a very good lesson to improve your currents and channel diving skills. The guides tried very hard to make us see everything: all kind of sharks including lemonsharks, lepardsharks and tiger sharks 🥰 and whalesharks and also the healthy corals of the Deep South. It was a great pleasure having such experienced and locals guides!

- Maa’dhu as the Cruise Director and Cha Cha as the Training Guide did a great job!. They prepared us very well for the challenges of diving in the channels and with the current. Besides the „Big stuf“ they also showed us the beautiful corals in the deep South of Maldives.. The kitchen did a great job too. The food was tasty and even adapted for vegetarians 😊.

I took a 14 day cruise from the south of the Maldives to Male Thanks to Maa'dhu and Denis for all these beautiful dives Sharks galore and beautiful encounters with eagle rays in particular The only downside would be a cabin a bit old-fashioned but personally I came for some beautiful dives and they were beautiful The atmosphere was excellent, the food varied and of quality Thank you to all the crew of the horizon for this beautiful vacation
