Enjoyed every minute, didn’t want to get off the ship

it was one of the best experiences ever! would highly recommend it to others. the highlight is the country, the people who live there, and the beautiful oceans and islands made all the more special by the crew and the Princess Aloha

Recommended for
Friendly Crew that were attentive and hardworking. Barman (marco) went over and above to ensure we had a great time. Captain even ensure we were in the best places at the best times due to weather conditions..

Choose a different boat and crew for your cruise!

From the instant we boarded, ourselves and the other passengers were shocked by the unwelcoming attitude from most of the staff - certainly those we were most in contact with during the trip. We concluded/guessed they were just tired and worn out from the cruise season, but of course the cost of the cruise remained the same. We intend to email Kompas (the company) and provide them with feedback. Many other passengers plan to do the same. The food was average, there was no service to speak of (other than serving the meals onto the tables and clearing the dishes). Other than coffee with breakfast, there was no coffee available for the rest of the day unless you were prepared to pay 2.5 Euros for it. Many passengers, and the Cruise Manager, asked for this several times, but to no avail. There were only 3 swim stops over the whole week - weather prevented it on two days, but on the penultimate day, it was warm and possible, but not offered. The sun deck furnishings are bare minimum - no cushions on the (only 4) available chairs which were designed to have cushions. Then just a big line up of loungers, also with no cushions. There was a hot tub, which was not turned on (to heat) until passengers repeatedly requested it towards the end of the trip. The cabins were nice, and the beds were comfortable. Housekeeping was minimal - we found empty sofa bottles in our cupboard from previous passengers. Our toilet paper dispenser ran out (the day of our cabin “refresh” service) and there was no spare, and despite telling Housekeeping, it was not replaced an hour later, and we had to ask again. We had a good time solely because we were travelling with our good friends, and the country of Croatia is so stunning. However, this was in spite of the actual cruise itself. Cruise Manager spent way too long in Information Sessions talking and repeating information that really wasn’t very valuable. She seemed to hold no sway with improving things on the boat itself.

The stops where we were off the boat. The beds were comfortable. The other passengers.
