Incredible experience as my first liveaboard
It was my first liveaboard experience, and I was a little nervous at first. However, I quickly realized there was nothing to worry about. The crew was incredibly kind and helpful, and they provided everything you might need, including diving gear, meals, snacks, and even medication. I experienced seasickness for the first time, but it improved quickly after taking the medicine they offered. They even hosted a sunset party on the boat on the last day, which made the trip even more special. If you are planning to visit the Similan

Great diving with lovely crew
We had a really lovely week on board the Manta Queen 1. Admittedly, we were incredibly lucky with the weather and visibility which definitely made this trip one of the best we've been on in Thailand, but it wouldn't have been the same without our amazing dive guide, Monja. We were a group of 2 (plus guide) and she really made the dives incredible. Tailored dive briefings, took an interest in what we wanted to see, very relaxed dives. She made a big effort to help me look for nudibranchs as I'd said I was really interested in finding the smallest of the small! She even had a magnifying glass so I could get a good look. Monja managed our dive profiles really well and made sure we had the longest dives possible within the safety limits. Back on the boat she was really helpful with debriefing and identifying things we'd seen. The trip leader, Peter, was also great and made sure everyone was enjoying the trip throughout. He was available for feedback at all times. The equipment we rented (BCD and regs) was in great condition. All Mares brand, and pretty new! The wetsuits that other people were renting looked to be in good condition too, especially the long wetsuits. The food was great and varied - there was a different choice at every meal and a variety of spiciness. It's amazing what the chef is able to make in such a small kitchen! Housekeeping was also very good - daily cleaning to a good standard. The boat boys were very helpful and friendly, and worked very hard to make sure everyone had an easy time with their kit both before and after dives. Our only small complaint would be that the double bed in the cabin was very small - smaller than a small double. It was about 120cm wide, and the pillows were not very comfy - quite hard and lumpy. New pillows would make a big difference! Also, the sun bed mats on the top deck were more comfy than the mats on the bed which were very firm. Overall a fantastic liveaboard and we'd definitely book again!

Perfect Trip dive with MQ1
Richelieu Rock is one of the best dive sites I have ever had, so many fishes swimming around me. Wreck dive on the last day was also a awsome one, a lot of special fishes in there. Crews on MQ1 were very friendly and helpful, my dive master Peter is a very gentle and kindly and handsome man.

Couldn't have been better 10/10
I booked the 5-day Similan Island tour on the Manta Queen 1! The dive boat is well maintained (cabins with private shower and toilet)and the Thai crew very nice and courteous, you will be welcomed here very warmly and there are no wishes left unfulfilled! From the course of the trip:Very well structured route through the Similan National Park, dive sites very varied, food 10/10 (fresh Thai cuisine, snacks, drinks tiptop)To the dive guides:Everything is super nice and you feel safe and in good hands with each individual. And in addition: Many thanks to Monja (my dive guide) for these relaxed TG's, I got a lot of interesting animals from her!If only because of her 5* for the trip
