Highlights
The Ikan Biru can house up to 8 guests. The boat has two guest bathrooms with hot freshwater showers below deck. The onboard chef serves freshly baked bread every morning, which he makes in the fully stocked kitchen. Upon request, the Ikan Biru can cater to specific dietary requests. The spacious upper deck is the perfect place to relax between dives in the daytime. In the evening, it is set up as a comfortable dining area. At night, the comfortable mattresses and bedding make it the perfect spot for guests to keep cool while sleeping under the stars, dreaming of all the incredible wildlife they’ve seen.
Thanks to its one-of-a-kind “hop-on, hop-off” concept, you can board the Ikan Biru for 3-12 nights, allowing you to explore the region as you see fit. Two dayboats are ready to take you to land when you wish to disembark. The Ikan Biru only accepts Advanced Open Water divers, or you can get your AOW certification and other diving courses on board. While aboard the Ikan Biru, you can dive three times a day, sometimes more. This lets you visit the best sites, such as Manta Point and The Cauldron.

You can survive without a cabin for 3 nights
I was a bit dubious about not having a cabin but it works quite well for a trip of this duration. The upstairs area is a large living area between 8 people during the day and at night it becomes the bedroom. Because there are no cabins, the generator goes off at 10pm and it's actually so peaceful and quiet on the water with the generator off. I would highly recommend the Ikan Biru to solo travellers and families alike.

Best dive trip ever
This is a great crew and really fun boat. The sleeping up on the top deck in the open air is so nice and peaceful, and not stuffy like inside a cabin. The food was spectacular every day, you will not be hungry. And the diving is some of the best I’ve ever done in my life. Incredible, healthy, diverse, and dense reefs with soooo much life. I would love to come back on the boat. One of the best things was AK, the dive supervisor, guide, and leader on the boat. She is an amazing person and made the trip even better. Highly recommend Ikan Biru!

Best dive experience for solo travelers
This was a fantastic trip and much more enjoyable than the giant lives boards. This is great for solo travelers that don’t need their own room. The food was a nice blend of Indonesia and Western food with a lot of fresh fruit, meat options, and vegetarian options. The dive guides are locals and super friendly and enjoyable as guides and a boat guests. Everyone does a really good job of making your life super easy. Oh, and the dive locations are world class

Superb experience!
Superb experience! There are no cabins on this boat, everyone sleeps on the upper deck: it's much more comfortable than a cabin and you have air. Everything was well organized and clean. Thank you to the whole team and especially to AK!

Most amazing liveboard!
We had the most amazing liveaboard on the Ikan Biru! The crew was amazing. Josh made us fresh en delicious food en snack everyday. De crew was very friendly and wanted to help us with everything. The instructors (shout-out to Joe and Harold!_ made sure we were well prepared before every dive. The dive sites were stunning and they even took us to see the Komodo Dragons in the National Park. I also dit the Advanced Open Water Course on board, which was done very throughly, but in a fun way. Everyone on the boat wanted to stay and/or would come back whenever we can

A must-do diving trip!
Our 4 day liveaboard adventure on the Ikan Biru was wonderful. The diving was world-class: we saw so many turtles, many mantas, improved our diving with strong currents, night diving and were even able to choose one of our final dive sites, whether we wanted to repeat one we already did, or explore somewhere new. All the staff, from dive and boat crew, were very friendly and extremely accommodating. We felt very looked after every part of the trip, and very much felt in safe hands throughout.

An breathtaking experience on board Ikan Biru! You won't regret the trip!
I had a truly awesome time on the Ilan Biru liveaboard. Our dive instructors (Harold and Joe were amazing! The diving itself was incredible, we saw manta rays, tons of sharks, eels, turtles, mantis shrimp and plenty of other cool stuff. The boat itself is cosy by very comfortable and the food was amazing. The cost of the boat was very good value for what we received

Great trip
Amazing trip. My guide was kind and informative, helpful, answered any questions you had happily. Food was amazing, boat was perfectly big enough. 12 dives and 4 days on the boat was perfect amount for me. There are some really expensive liveaboards, this one was a lot cheaper and still 5 star experience. I would recommend this to anyone who loves diving and wants to check out Komodo. Thank you to my guide Harold and the kind boat staff. Max 🇬🇧: )

Amazing trip!
Excellent trip. This was my first liveaboard and had an incredible time. AK and Athend were great dive guides. The briefings made sure we were prepared for the currents. I really trusted the team and had so much fun. Great vibes on the boat too!! Very social since you’re all eating sleeping and diving together all day.
