The Ikan Biru can house up to 8 guests. The boat has two guest bathrooms with hot freshwater showers below deck. The onboard chef serves freshly baked bread every morning, which he makes in the fully stocked kitchen. Upon request, the Ikan Biru can cater to specific dietary requests. The spacious upper deck is the perfect place to relax between dives in the daytime. In the evening, it is set up as a comfortable dining area. At night, the comfortable mattresses and bedding make it the perfect spot for guests to keep cool while sleeping under the stars, dreaming of all the incredible wildlife they’ve seen.

Thanks to its one-of-a-kind “hop-on, hop-off” concept, you can board the Ikan Biru for 3-12 nights, allowing you to explore the region as you see fit. Two dayboats are ready to take you to land when you wish to disembark. The Ikan Biru only accepts Advanced Open Water divers, or you can get your AOW certification and other diving courses on board. While aboard the Ikan Biru, you can dive three times a day, sometimes more. This lets you visit the best sites, such as Manta Point and The Cauldron.

Best dive trip ever
This is a great crew and really fun boat. The sleeping up on the top deck in the open air is so nice and peaceful, and not stuffy like inside a cabin. The food was spectacular every day, you will not be hungry. And the diving is some of the best I’ve ever done in my life. Incredible, healthy, diverse, and dense reefs with soooo much life. I would love to come back on the boat. One of the best things was AK, the dive supervisor, guide, and leader on the boat. She is an amazing person and made the trip even better. Highly recommend Ikan Biru!

I loved our crew, they took such good care of us and made the perfect team. Komodo national park is stunning, so beautiful. The activities were perfectly balanced, active but also time to chill and enjoy. Such a great atmosphere on the boat, I loved every second of it.

The best thing I've ever done, don't waste money on a boat twice as expensive
The crew are amazing, so helpful, brilliant cook and good coffee. Our guides were so knowledgeable and able to cater to everyone's ability and deliver the best diving I've ever experienced. If your apprehensive about the sleeping on deck don't be it's such a good vibe, (it rained and was fine) we had people from 20-60+ all enjoyed every moment. Wake up and watch dolphins passing by with your coffee dive one of the best sites in your life before breakfast. Eat amazing food and dive some more .Then swim under the milky way with bioluminescence all around you. What more do you want?

Highlight of our trip!
I would recommend this trip to anybody! We went for 4 days during our honeymoon and it was easily the highlight of our whole trip! We did some of the best diving of my life, met incredible people, and lived on a pirate ship. I don’t know what else you could ask for. The diving was absolutely stunning, and the dive master elevated the experience by showing us all the cool spots and helped improve our skills as divers with little experience. The first few dives were very easy going, and then got progressively more thrilling, capping it off with “The Cauldron” where we go to glide through a beautiful array of fish and coral like a roller coaster.

Overall, I recommend the Ikan Biru liveaboard. The boat was well-suited to having 8 guests on board. I was always comfortable and well fed. The diving was excellent and the dive masters ensured everybody's safety was taken seriously. Great value for the money.

The only way to experience Komodo
You get a big variety of dives - drift, strong current, chill reef dives, divers marine life, and night dives. You will never be hungry and the food is awesome. The staff (guides and crew on board) were top class. Sleeping on the deck was refreshing and really nice. Would definitely do it again.

Unforgettable immersion in the heart of Komodo
We had an exceptional experience aboard the Ikan Biru, four days of diving and sharing that will remain engraved in our memories. Each site explored offered us its share of wonders: the majestic mantas of Mawan welcomed us in their graceful ballet, while the Komodo current in Siaba Kecil offered us an unparalleled adrenaline rush. The Cauldron, on the other hand, was a dive as spectacular as it was formative, a real learning ground for lovers of the current.The multicolored corals, the sharks present on almost every dive, and the richness of underwater life made each descent an adventure. Ricky, always taking care after each dive, was able to make the experience even more comfortable and reassuring. And our group... What a great energy! Everyone contributed to making each moment a precious moment, between mutual aid, smiles and shared wonder.A huge thank you to the whole team for this magical interlude. Our stay on Ikan Biru was some of the best things we have ever experienced! We loved every second of it. From how extremely well looked after we got from the whole crew to the amazing dives we were able to experience with our guides! We absolutely loved how the boat offered everything we needed and still we lived a very simple, slowing down life. It was the perfect start to our honeymoon. We have been relaxed ever since we set foot on our beloved boat and wish for everybody to experience it themself!

I had a great time in Ikan Biru! The food is really good. The staff is also very caring. After every dive they serve tea or coffee and either a meal or a fresh baked snack (brownies etc.)! The dive guides are very kind and they do a very good dive briefing before every dive. Sleeping on the deck is very comfortable. We saw all kinds of fish, sharks, octopus, turtles, mantra rays and even dolphins swimming next to our boat. Very much recommend this trip

Cruise to be done again with pleasure
A great stay with dive sites full of life and very healthy corals. The concept of sleeping all together on deck selects, I think, the divers and it was a pleasure to meet the other travelers. Even though there is no individual cabin, the boat is well designed and the small number of participants makes everyone feel good. The supervision and accompaniment by Harold (French in Indonesia for 7 years) on the boat and in diving was really a pleasure. The only downside is the language barrier with some members of the team at the club before starting the cruise to prepare the equipment. Hardware that is in a decent condition. If necessary during the cruise, the crew manages repairs/replacements very well.

The organization (of the equipment in Labuan Bajo on our return) is well established. We found the crew very professional and very smiling. We are delighted with the services offered on the boat. Honestly, it was one of the most incredible trips I've ever done in my life. Harold (diving instructor) was fantastic, the crew worked so hard to ensure our trip was smooth, and the views were breathtaking. Diving on this trip is hard, so keep that in mind, but if you are up for the challenge, it is WELL worth it. I will definitely be coming back! 100/10.

Even on board, it felt like a floating home – with a crew that looked after us at all times and a kitchen that spoiled us with incredibly delicious food.Real highlights awaited under water: the exciting drift diving in the Cauldron, a spectacular night dive with fascinating encounters in the dark, as well as varied spots that could be explored safely and impressively thanks to the expertise of the guides.There were also unforgettable moments on deck + the magical sundowner on Gili Lawa, where the group ended the day in a harmonious atmosphere. In general, the super matching group made the trip something very special - laughing, diving and marveling together rounded off the experience perfectly.

When you book this boat, it is clear that you have no privacy. But within the scope of the possibilities, they got the best out of it.You sleep really comfortably and well. The whole safari, from service on board to the dives, is super well organized. The two guides Harold and Tom were great, very professional. The service was great, the crew took care of us all and read every wish from the lips. The food was also really delicious and varied. We did really great dives and saw so many manta rays, turtles and sharks. Unique! I highly recommend this trip!

Magical experience, friendly staff, knowledgeable guides, and great value.
All the colour and diversity of the corals and fish and other animals on the reefs. Turtles and mantas!! And just the beautiful landscape of the islands all around is breathtaking!!

The dive guides take you to amazing sites and spot so many things to see that I would have missed. The staff take care of everything, the gear, the food, setting up beds. Sleeping on the top deck is an added bonus, very comfortable space with the stars above (there is a roof, don't worry), and sea breeze, while nice and cosy in bed, and because there is no need for air conditioned cabin, the engine can turn off at night so you can listen to the water.

Incredible experience for my first liveaboard!
This was my first liveaboard experience and it was incredible! The boat, crew, dive guides, guests, and food all made this a truly memorable and wonderful experience. I would happily do a longer liveaboard with Blue Marlin around Komodo again, the dive sites and whole vibe of the boat, crew, and guests was perfect.
