The Explorer 1 is a Catamaran specially designed for remote diving expeditions in the Seychelles. Accommodating a maximum of 6 divers, the Explorer 1 offers comfort and personalized service for recreational and technical diving adventures. There are 3 cabins on board: Aldabra, a master cabin featuring twin beds with a private bathroom and toilet; Granite, a cabin with twin beds; and Amirantes, a cozy cabin with two single bunk beds. Amenities include adjustable air conditioning, Wi-Fi (except in remote islands), USB outlets, and entertainment options like music and video.
The Explorer 1 is committed to sustainability and adopts a zero-waste approach by providing eco-friendly toiletries and eliminating single-use plastics. The boat uses 100% organic products for cleaning and maintenance, respecting the local ecosystem. Safety is paramount, and the Explorer 1 features an oxygen therapy station and a hyperbaric decompression chamber. The highly qualified crew is trained in emergency response.

Great small-group liveaboard
The liveaboard with Explorer 1 was great. Since we were only three divers with three crew on the boat, the service was very personal and always adapted to the external conditions (swell, weather, diving conditions). From dive guide Joey to Captain Sparrow to cook Rosie, this was a great team. Thank you very much for the great week.

Great dive spots
Great divespots with schools of fish on a dizzying scale. Super friendly crew. Partly remote diving areas. Amirantes was not approached on this trip after all.
