The 45m steel-hulled Blue Manta Liveaboard Indonesia was custom-built with divers' needs in mind. Designed to withstand all sea conditions, the Blue Manta Liveaboard will deliver a comfortable Indonesian dive liveaboard trip.

The Blue Manta Liveaboard has 14 beautifully furnished cabins. Each cabin measures a spacious 20sqm and has en-suite bathrooms and individually controlled air-conditioning. With 3 chefs aboard the Blue Manta Liveaboard serving no less than 5 meals per day, meal times are taken seriously, with the day starting with freshly baked bread. Great service from the crews in ensuring all dives go smoothly. Juan, our dive guide, is experienced, patience and top-notch in guiding us, especially when we experienced unexpected strong drift current, up-current, and down-current, even as we got split up because of the current. He managed to find all the macros on our wishlist. We are well fed by the kitchen and food crew. Room cleanliness was also well maintained.

Incredible trip
Had an amazing trip aboard Blue Manta in Komodo. Everything about this liveaboard is amazing from the size of the rooms to the crew and the quality of the food. Outstanding service and the rooms are so much larger and more luxurious than other boats. Amazing DMs who know the sites and terrain very well. Can’t wait to go back.

Great diving boat on a wonderful itinerary
Manta Blue is a very spacious and comfortable boat, very stable at sea. I would recommend it to anyone who can be subject to sea sickness. We had a wonderful diving experience thanks to the efficiency and kindness of the crew. The food was great, particularly for breakfast and lunches. As a cruise director, Cedric was exceptional. His briefing were very detailed and insightful and he shared his immense knowledge of the region.

Five star diving in Komodo
I take a couple of liveaboard dive trips each year for the last 20 years. The Blue Manta is one of the best boats I’ve ever been on. It’s spacious, with a fantastic crew, “Four Season” level of service and incredible food. The trip had an unforgettable diving itinerary thanks to the savvy cruise director who planned each day, avoiding traffic from other boats as well as best dive conditions for each dive site. I can’t wait to try their other boat in Indonesia next time. I highly recommend this boat for a trip of a lifetime!

Simply the best boat!!
This was my second trip on Blue Manta. I was on the boat in Komodo and just got back from Raja Ampat. This is the best liveaboard I’ve been on. It’s huge and very stable. The service was unbelievable and everyone from the cruise director to the dive masters and chefs went out of their way to give the best service. The rooms are huge, food was awesome and the diving was incredible. I can’t wait to get back on this boat.

Raja Ampat. Period.
Raja Ampat lived up to its reputation. So grateful to get off the waitlist for Blue Manta. Don’t wait too long to book. Dive sites were a blast with some many fish, Cedric our maestro ran a top ship, the crew were incredibly hospitable and food was delicious, Vickly represented the best of divemasters, and my peers were a great, friendly group. Many of whom had been on the ship (and route) several times prior. Hope to do a crossing and/or Komodo soon with them. 5 stars!

It was an incredible trip. The crew is very helpful, they always stay there for you. The comfort of the boat is great, it could be one of the best that I've been. The cabins and toilets are realy spaciosus. The camera room is good. You can do all the maintenance of your equipment. Fantastic variety of food. The dive sites are amazing. Reefs are very healty and colorful and the Mantas' encounters (bufff)...something unforgettable. 11/10 Score

All around top notch experience
I have nothing but good things to say about my experience diving Komodo on Blue Manta. The boat is so comfortable and spacious. The room and bathroom were the roomiest I've experienced on a liveaboard. The crew always went the extra mile, whether it was dealing with gear, serving food, or dealing with any minor issues in a prompt and timely manner. The dive briefings were thorough, and the dive guides did a great job of showing the best aspects of each dive site. The next time I do a liveaboard in Indonesia, it will definitely be on board the Blue Manta.

Diving sites are excellent for us to see beautiful reef and fishes. I could see 2 hammer heads during the trip. Water is clear and warm for me to dive 3 to 4 times a day. DM was very helpful during divings and searched special things for taking photos.

Unforgettable liveaboard in beautiful locations with a great ship and an excellent team on board, both in terms of diving care and service on the ship.
Many rare marine animals, e.g. electric flame clam or disco mussel, seahorses, flatworms, frogfish, leaf fish, ghost pipefish, etc. Some of them have beautiful corals, including numerous gorgonians such as giant gorgonians, knotted sea fans, broom gorgonians and others.

A wonderful and enjoyable experience diving in Komodo with Blue Manta boat & crew
From the beginning with the booking right through the final transfers, everything has been perfect. The communication I received from Liveaboard.com was thorough and comprehensive. Firstly, all praises to the entire crew. There was always a smiling face to greet you. Evan, the cruise director should be commended for running such a tight ship and schedule with precision. Not easy managing 22+ divers and running on time. His briefing and tips were most helpful especially when dealing with current dives. Food was plentiful and delicious. You will never be hungry on this trip! Mixed Asian and Western style buffet for breakfast, Asian buffet for lunch and Western meals for dinner. We were even entertained by the Blue Manta band for 2 evenings! There is a great camera room and a shout out to PJ the on board videographer who commemorated our trip with a brilliant take home video.(for purchase).I also appreciated his tips on videography being my first time doing videos. His vast experience of over 27 years cannot be underestimated and I look forward to watching his video over and over again!. May cabin was spacious and surprisingly serviced & cleaned twice a day. There is also a laundry service for a modest fee. Snacks and soft drinks were included and water in room replenished each day. Diving was exceptional with nearly all dives with visibility of at least over 25m. Waiting for us was hot ginger tea (hot chocolate after night dives) clean dry towel. Our wet suits were washed and disinfected after each dive, dried and laid out for us ready for the next dive. At the end of the trip, everything was cleaned and dried ready for packing. Roly my allocated dive guide was with our group for the entire trip and was most helpful in finding critters and more importantly keeping us safe and together on some of the more challenging dives. Overall a wonderful experience diving Komodo with the Blue Manta boat and crew. I was totally spoilt and will definitely be booking with them again!!

Best Dive - Liveaboard experience
Komodo has a great range of diving experience, Blue Manta is a purpose built boat for diving. The setup is so good, makes each dive feel so relaxing from dive brief to finish. The staff on the boat are superb, they do a good job looking after all the divers during dive an on the boat.
