10/10 would recommend:)
This trip was amazing! I appreciated how the staff onboard really made our trip so smooth. The trip leader Woody gave great briefings and organized us well. We had small dive groups that were thoughtfully selected based on experience level so we could dive with people of similar air consumption etc. Chef Muay put lots of love into her cooking and I had some of the best meals I’ve ever had in my life- certainly the best meals I’ve ever had on a boat. I’m vegetarian and the meals I had were superb. For one of the more affordable trips to the Similan islands, Manta Queen 2 felt surprisingly luxurious.

Newbies friendly liveaboard
This is a budget boat and everything comes handy. The most unexpected surprise is the food. I had the best mango sticky rice in my life on this boat. One thing to take into consideration if you are an experienced diver. A lot of divers come to similan are newbies that means every dive is 45-50mins most. This is not only for MQ2 But for all similan liveaboards. So if you are experienced divers and want to enjoy underwater longer you may want to consider other destinations.

Manta Queen 2 - Amazing experience!
This was an absolutely amazing trip. The dive sites were excellent, as were the 4 dive guides on board. The way the boat was run was very organized and we were well looked after getting into and out of dive gear and in and out of the water. The boat crew were so attentive and helpful and worked so hard all day every day. The food was incredible - best food I had the whole time I was in Thailand - and there was always plenty of it! Would recommend this trip 110%.

Absolutely amazing experience!!
It was my first liveaboard and I expected to miss a lot during a few days on a boat, but it turned out to be not that bad. Everything has been done to make everyone as happy as possible. In terms of diving, we also went to different possibilities and locations so that the best experiences could be offered. I would absolutely book this trip again.

AMAZING!
Amazing liveaboard! Exceeded all expectations. The food was great, surface intervals were long and relaxing and the boat was comfortable. The crew were good and dive groups were small and well managed. Highly recommend!
