Ultimate Liveaboard experience on a budget
This was my first liveaboard and I think KSA has spoilt all future liveaboards for me. EVERYTHING was amazing - the food, the company, the dives, the dive sites nothing fell short. Special shoutout to my dive guide - Jo who has been so supportive in the water and over. While he is exceptional and so calm underwater, he needs to improve his over water board game skills :P haha. I hope he practices his dice rolling skills 😆 The chef - Muay weaves magic with her hands and prepares the most amazing dishes out of thin air and the whole crew is always there to help you out at all times!

Great people, great diving
This was my first liveaboard and I had such a great experience. My dive guide Elsa was great at leading the dives. The chef, who let me call her mama, made sure we were well fed and really did make the best food. I have nothing but positives to say about the experience and I’m excited to dive with them the next time I’m in town. I did also book the liveaboard 2 days before so if you’re looking for a liveaboard that can accommodate you on short notice, this would be the one!

Manta Queen 2 - Amazing experience!
This was an absolutely amazing trip. The dive sites were excellent, as were the 4 dive guides on board. The way the boat was run was very organized and we were well looked after getting into and out of dive gear and in and out of the water. The boat crew were so attentive and helpful and worked so hard all day every day. The food was incredible - best food I had the whole time I was in Thailand - and there was always plenty of it! Would recommend this trip 110%.

Great Vibes and Dives with Woody and Elsa
As a dive instructor myself, I've met many instructors so far and I have used many diving operators while traveling around the world. But the experience I had with the instructors at Manta Queen 2, especially Woody and Elsa, was something that really stood out to me—there was so much to learn and appreciate. Let’s be real: life as a dive instructor isn’t exactly a walk in the park. Over the years, I’ve witnessed many instructors, myself included, burn out or get exhausted, so seeing Woody and Elsa truly enjoying their work was a breath of fresh air. I was honestly impressed by how much they loved what they do—it’s rare and inspiring. Great diving always starts with a clear, concise briefing, and Woody’s briefings were next-level. I used to think I was the king of dive briefings, but Woody’s were on a whole different plane. I’ve always believed that dive instructors need to be entertainers, making sure the guests and students are enjoying themselves, and Woody nailed this perfectly. As a fellow instructor, I couldn’t help but envy him. Even in the short time we spent together, I did my best to observe and absorb everything he did. What I found especially admirable was how Woody didn’t shy away from tasks that senior instructors usually don't do and don't like to do. Whether it was taking charge of a group of divers who needed more care and attention, checking dive sites first personally instead of assigning other young instructors, or doing the "little" tasks like ringing the bell to announce meal times, playing music during surface intervals, or taking photos and sharing them with guests at the end of the trip—Woody truly embodied what it means to lead by example. Honestly, where else would you find a senior instructor like that? I don’t know where I’ll end up working again, but I’ll certainly strive to be more like Woody. A big shout-out to Elsa, too, who guided my wife and me through some amazing dives. While my wife and I have done our fair share of dives and didn’t need much attention, Elsa went above and beyond to ensure our dives were safe, comfortable, and enjoyable. We were seriously impressed with her care and attention. And if there’s such a thing as “luck in diving,” Elsa definitely had it—every dive felt like a fish frenzy, with schools of fish everywhere. This was my first live aboard dive experience, and if Woody and Elsa are involved, I’d definitely come back for more. Can’t wait for the next adventure!
