Good first liveaboard
Very good diving although vis wasn't terrific. Divemaster Adrian was awesome as well as other crew members. They all emulate thai hospitality! Also I am a below knee amputee and very functional with my prosthesis but they were very kind and attentive with some of the small things I needed help with. Made the dive much more pleasant. Boat was nice considering cost. Comfy and food was good. I think if I do a liveaboard again I would hope it lives up to sawadesi fasai. It was overall a nice trip. Not glamorous, but nice and plenty of memories and dive videos :) ty!

Fabulous livaboard!
This was my first liveaboard and I absolutely loved it. Mark was a great instructor and as a new diver, I appreciated his input on how to improve. The crew, food and fellow divers were fabulous. I can't wait to schedule my next liveaboard.

Great upmarket Liveaboard option for Surin and Similan
The trip brought me to all the dive sites of the area, in a very comfortable boat. You can also do training on board for advanced certification (AOW, Nitrox, etc.) My cabin was very comfortable and the communal areas were always clean and spacious. I appreciated the hotel transfers both ways, which were included in the price (recommended: Nai Yang is a great little town to go ahead of time and close to the airport). I also met some really great people on the trip! I’m glad I chose this boat over others. I would definitely recommend choosing this boat as your way to explore the Surin and Similan Islands. Two notes for future divers: 1. Equipment: Best to bring your own wetsuit, masks, fins, etc. if you have them. While you can rent on board, you’ll only get a short wetsuit and standard-quality masks/fins. Regulators and BCDs are fine on board. Currents and depth can make the water chilly, and I wished I had a long, which wasn’t available on the boat as a rental. 2. Dietary Requirements: While they accommodate veg/vegans, it was mainly “taking the meat out” of the main dish, not separately prepared- I found a few pieces of meat lurking on several occasions. Beware ahead of time, and if you aren’t able to “eat around” meat, contact West Coast Divers ahead of time to ensure the kitchen team know how to make fully vegan meals.

Best Diving Experience of My Life!
Honestly the whole trip was amazing but definitely Richelieu Rock was incredible. My favorite dive site of my life. We had an awesome group of people that we made friends with, played cards, new lifelong friends. I was sad getting off the boat. Mark, Jonnes, James, Mali and Kizz were awesome 👌🏽 you are lucky to have them all!

Great Trip
Cannot say enough about the amazing staff on Fasai. Our DM, Mici, was passionate about diving, extremely safe, and a joy to spend the trip with. The head Dive Guide, Mark, did an amazing job organizing the divers, staff, and evolving itineraries. Everyone was upbeat and seemed happy to be there. The boat is spacious and comfortable. The food is plentiful and tasty with soda/beer/wine available for purchase. The diving was beautiful (although we missed out on much macro life). A great first liveaboard - the next will have big shoes to fill!
