New for 2016, and the sister ship to MV Pawara is the Sawasdee Fasai. A custom-built dive liveaboard offering trips to the amazing dive sites of the Andaman Sea between October and May each year. The enormous dive deck on board ensures enough room for the 26 divers onboard, with ample gear storage and kitting-up space. Aboard the Sawasdee Fasai, divers can experience the amazing dive sites of the Andaman Sea and explore the famous dive sites of Richelieu Rock, Koh Bon, Elephant Head Rock, or Koh Tachai in the Similan Islands.

Topside, the Sawasdee Fasai, has 15 air-conditioned cabins catering to a maximum of 30 guests. Located on the main deck are 2 master cabins and 5 deluxe cabins, each with sea views and en-suite bathrooms. On the lower deck are 4 standard cabins with en-suite bathrooms and 4 budget cabins with shared bathroom facilities. There is plenty of room for relaxation with the huge sundeck, outside lounge area, indoor lounge, and refreshment bar.

I can highly recommend after doing three trips onboard!
This was my third trip on the Sawasdee Fasai and will definitely book again! If the weather allows it, you can do 4 or even 5 dives at Richelieu Rock (my favorite) and also a few on Koh Tachai (my second favorite). The last night they do a BBQ and small party on the upper deck which is super nice!

Huge boat with plenty of space. Professional staff. Many toilets where you can also take a warm shower.

Amazing first Liveaboard experience
This was my first liveaboard and was an excellent experience. The instructors were very informed and willing to help level some others up and knew everything about the sites having dove them 100s of times. All of the dives were really interesting and fun, not repetitive in any way, and Richelieu rock might be the bigggest fish frency I have ever seen. The food was absolutely amazing and the staff was really fun to joke around with. Accomodation was nice and I believe was recently remodeled - felt new. Would do it again and probably will.

It is impressive and highly gratifying that coral growth andFish abundance in the last 10 years (last liveaboard) have not suffered despite extreme diving volumes, but have even increased in some places.

Absolutely loved this liveaboard!
I had such a great time on my trip! The whole thing was so well organised, and the dive leader explained every dive briefing so clearly with a great sense if humour. The boat was at maximum capacity but it still felt really spacious and comfortable for all the guests and crew onboard. The boat was really clean and the food was delicious. Amazing choice of buffet options. Towards the end of the trip I had to skip couple meals because we were so well fed that I couldn't bring myself to consume any more calories haha. The crew were also amazing, they went out if their way to make sure you were safe and looked after. I highly recommend this liveaboard!

I am happy with my choice and would book Sawasdee Fasai again. The crew was amazing: Great cooking ladies, great boat crew who supported us for the diving gear, great dive masters and the trip director did a fantastic job with all the briefings and made a lot uf fun. The dive sites we visited were okay, missed the mantas and whale sharks, but what can we do. The food was so delicious and always good choices. You will never be hungry. The rooms are small, there is not so much comfort, but that's what you deal with on a lifeaboard. Otherwise boat well kept, clean.

A highly recommended boat.
The boat is spacious, the budget cabins are small but functional. The food is great, the organization and support all around top. The highlight is diving at Richelieu Rock, with really lots of fish. The rest of the dive sites were ok. The visibility was about 10-15m. A normal dive here takes about 50-55min.

Cannot say enough about the amazing staff on Fasai. Our DM, Mici, was passionate about diving, extremely safe, and a joy to spend the trip with. The head Dive Guide, Mark, did an amazing job organizing the divers, staff, and evolving itineraries. Everyone was upbeat and seemed happy to be there. The boat is spacious and comfortable. The food is plentiful and tasty with soda/beer/wine available for purchase. The diving was beautiful (although we missed out on much macro life). A great first liveaboard - the next will have big shoes to fill!

Could not believe we saw 2 oceanic manta rays on our very last dive!Such an amazing ending to our trip! The crew are super helpful. Our AC was malfunctioning and my husband got sick due to that, but the engineer helped fix it the next day. Very efficient crew!And the dive sites were stunning with such a diverse marine life! Will definitey recommend it!

He said it was an unforgettable experience. It's the first time I've done a liveaboard and I've loved it.The best thing has been the professionalism and kindness of the whole team (instructors, kitchen, boat boys...), with Kwan at the helm, who make everything very easy for you to enjoy. In addition, on the last day we saw a video that had been edited with images of the dives carried out; An unforgettable memory.I was in the Master cabin, very comfortable and spacious and the meals were plentiful as well as good.Special mention for Mirella and Dani. It was a real pleasure to meet you. Hopefully we can repeat it another time.

Incredible Similan dive sojourn with Richelieu Rock as the highlight. Exceptional crew, food was delicious - do not expect to lose weight on this trip. Very chill cruise director & extremely professional experienced DM’s. Sawasdee Fasai will not disappoint:) loved the coffee machine and free, yes free Nitrox ! I am hoping to return soon, one of the guest on our trip actually booked the very next sailing because it was that good of an experience:)
