Red Sea good value

Red Sea is economical compared to other regions. And Egypt is cool on land as well. Water a bit chilly even in June, so a full 3mm is probably a good idea. Lost of wrecks if you are interested. Fish and coral good, but a bit less abundant than Indonesia or Thailand. Mixture of deck dives and zodiac dives which is interesting. Of interest to Americans, most of the passengers are European which makes sense given the proximity. German was the main language, but they did most of the briefings in English, which was nice. There is one dive guide for 8-10 divers, which is a bit more sparse than my prior liveaboard experiences. As a photographer, it is harder to dive with a group that large and keep up. The night dives were default no guide, which may not be ideal for some You can get your own dive guide for a price. The deck crew were very good and friendly and aimed to please. The cabins were good, the only issue being the aircon. A significant issue. It is "central" and some were too cold and some too hot with ensuing argument about where to set the thermostat. Few nights uncomfortably warm, which is a shame given the very nice ship otherwise. The first and last days are no dive days on the ship so understand that on the itinerary. Probably plenty of diving for most.

Egypt

So so compare to other liveabords I done. The dive guide wasn’t friendly or even helpful that kind of ruing this vacation somewhat. The split to teams wasn’t good. One had 70% once the second group was 30%. Food was great room comfortable except of the bathroom that has standing water and wasn’t training properly. The boat itself was gorgeous

Every day and night were highlights that will be forever remembered with excitement and joy!

Would do this again and again. The fellow dive guests were lovely people and great to dive with. The guides Hamza and Ahmid were absolutely amazing and so thorough in the dive briefings and dive sites. The food was fantastically scrumptious at every course served. The dive crew from helping us with our gear, to food presentation was top notch! Every day and night were a highlight!
