Highlights
Barefoot luxury is the theme behind Mikumba Dua (of lost paradise charters) liveaboard Indonesia, having undergone an extensive renovation giving a contemporary twist to this traditional wooden boutique style phinisi. Mikumba Dua boasts the largest outdoor space found on any vessel in her class, spanning over 4 decks, allowing guests to indulge in alfresco dining under the stars while sipping away at their favorite drink or perhaps getting involved in some sunrise/sunset yoga or just lounging around on beanbags with a book. The main hub of the boat is the beautiful indoor salon, which also offers dining, a cinema room, a library, board games, or simply space for relaxation. There are 2 Master cabins on the upper deck, both en-suite and with their own private balcony, with a further 3 double/twin cabins on the lower deck sharing 2 bathrooms. All cabins are spacious and individually designed, embracing traditional local materials and fabrics.
Dining generally takes place on the top deck while taking in incredible vistas; our legendary local chef will provide a selection of authentic dishes prepared daily using the freshest locally sourced ingredients and cooked with dedication and love. The Ethos onboard Mikumba Dua is to seek adventure while getting you away from the crowds and giving you world-class diving and snorkeling. Visit secret beaches and lagoons and encounter breathtaking views from jungle-covered hilltops, all of which make for a truly magical experience, “the stuff of dreams.”
The enchanting and magnificent Raja Ampat, one of the last frontiers on Earth, is the ultimate tropical paradise. Commonly regarded as the most biodiverse marine ecosystem on our planet and ultimately some of the greatest diving and snorkeling in the world, as beautiful above the surface as below, it is “truly Heaven on Earth.”
The ambiance aboard Mikumba Dua reflects the feeling that guests are extended family and perfectly combines the balance of adventure and the feeling of home. Mikumba Dua is also available for private hire; the date of the charter, length of trip, locations, and activities can all be tailored to your needs.

Wonderful Liveaboard experience. Hilarious Host. Incredible diving.
Had an incredible stay on the Mikumba Dua. Jeremy the host was an absolute riot. We went to bed laughing so hard it hurt multiple nights. The diving is some of the best you will ever experience. We saw manta, cuttlefish, octopus, sharks, dolphins etc... We took the kayaks and paddle boards out on our evening breaks. Enjoyed soaking up the sun and witnessed some truly magical sunrises and sunsets. We thoroughly enjoyed our time on the boat and were sad to leave once it was time. We will treasure the memories of this trip for a lifetime.

Perfect liveaboard
Jeremy has done a fantastic job creating a homely feel onboard the boat. Making every aspect of it comfortable and easy going. Allowing us to focus on diving. Our dive guide Fedly was also excellent, spotting anything and everything we passed, big and small.

Great diving and very beautiful boat!
It was a great experience: this is our 6th liveaboard and it has been one of the best. Diving in Komodo is a must, because you can see big fish and beautiful corals. Trekking with the dragons is also a must. The crew is great, you can feel the good vibes, especially Fatly, who is the soul of the group, a great guide and a great team leader!

First but not last liveaboard
The Mikumba Dua is run by an extremely friendly guy who always has time for your questions and always helps with your requests. Jem leads a crew that reflects these traits and consistently helped us eat, learn and escorted us through our dives while having a lot of fun. The Mikumba Dua has a maximum capacity of 10 so you will really feel the hospitality and get to know everyone with ease. I dont know what's stopping you but if the dates are right then you should really book this boat, we'll never forget our 1st liveaboard thanks to Jem and his team.

Wonderful experience
Loved our time on Mikumba Dua. Very comfortable boat with lots of places to lounge about in-between dives. Good itinerary mix of diving and non-diving activities, and crew were very happy to accommodate non-divers with snorkelling, paddle board or kayak options. Diving was well-organized and felt safe. Food was brilliant, lots of fresh fruit, salads and vegetables at every meal and vegetarians were well-catered for, with alternate and varied protein options at each meal. Crew were super friendly and really looked after you. My only suggestion would to add some coke zero's to the soft drink fridge.

What a wonderful experience!
It was our first time on a liveaboard. Thanks to the crew, we enjoyed 13 dives without any worries. I'd like to express my gratitude to all the crew (Captain Ilfan, Hot man, Fadly, Almad, Bruce Lee, Agus, Willy, Sarul, Dion, Hans and Jeremy) The room and bathroom were clean, comfortable and convenient. There were enough clothespins and hangers, it was helpful to dry clothes and towers after diving. The meal were excellent and we could enjoy fresh fruit every time. We asked vegan meals, and most food seemed vegetarian, but there were also options for vegans. There were enough snacks, cookies, soft drinks, teas in the common area, we enjoyed them during breaks. Jeremy immediately offered assistance when a guest felt sick or uncomfortable.

it was best trip
We didn't speak English very well, but the crew and the owner treated us kindly. The meal was very satisfying, and the activities other than diving were also very attractive. I would highly recommend Mikumba Dua to other Koreans coming. It was the best trip except for the lack of zero calorie Coca-Cola. Thank you, Mikumba. See you again.

Awesome trip with amazing divesites
We did the five day trip with the mikumba dua to the komodo nationalpark. We totally loved it and can highly recommend to join the mikumba dua for the trip to komodo. The crew did always their best to let us feel comfortabel. The dive guides were very professional and we felt always safe and good briefed at all. We got always tasty and fresh food and we missed nothing. The boat and the rooms are very comfortable and invites to relax after the dives and you got plenty of things to do. Snorkling, Standuppaddle, jump of the boat and many more. All in all it was one of the best trip we ever did and we will join the mikumba dua every time again. The one and only thing we missed a little was a tasty coffee in the morning. But with the early dive you wont miss it that much ;) We hope to join you again! Mirco& Fabienne from Switzerland

Wow! My 5 days on Mikumba Dua was truly the experience of a lifetime!
I had an amazing experience on Mikumba Dua. As a solo traveller, it can be daunting to get on a boat with strangers for multiple days, but the passengers and crew felt like a little family. The mix of land excursions with the diving was amazing, it was nice to get of the boat for a little everyday and enjoy the surrounding islands. Food was fresh and healthy also. This was an incredible experience and I would stay on the boat again
