Mikumba Dua boasts the largest outdoor space found on any vessel in her class, spanning over 4 decks, allowing guests to indulge in alfresco dining under the stars while sipping away at their favorite drink or perhaps getting involved in some sunrise/sunset yoga or just lounging around on beanbags with a book. The main hub of the boat is the beautiful indoor salon, which also offers dining, a cinema room, a library, board games, or simply space for relaxation. There are 2 Master cabins on the upper deck, both en-suite and with their own private balcony, with a further 3 double/twin cabins on the lower deck sharing 2 bathrooms. All cabins are spacious and individually designed, embracing traditional local materials and fabrics.

I have been very fortunate to travel and dive in many parts of the world, but this trip will be hard to duplicate.
I can't tell you how much we enjoyed the experience of the Dikumba Dua and it's crew. They went out of their way to insure that our late guest made it to the boat and felt welcome aboard. Their attention to safety, diving, and the overall guest experience was exceptional. I would recommend any diver to enjoy the Dikumba Dua experience. Well worth the money and time it takes to enjoy the Komodo Islands.

Best Trip Ever!
This was the best liveaboard experience I’ve ever had. It was also the first liveaboard trip for some of my companions, and they came away with wonderful memories from their very first experience.

Best first liveaboard experience!
I couldn’t have imagined a better first liveaboard experience. The boat was very comfortable and the details are well thought through. The crew are really warm and friendly, the itinerary is well made and the communication and briefing for our days was great. I shared a below deck cabin which was comfortable and clean.

Amazing Live a Board Komodo islands on the Mikumba Dua
Our first time LiveAboard and it was amazing. From the moment we met the crew we had a great time. The boat was perfect. In perfect condition and the crew made sure it was like that during the entire trip. Everything was so well arranged. The crew did everything in such a way that it was professional and relaxed at the same time. We quickly made new friends and enjoyed the 5 days to the max. We went to amazing sites for diving. Guided by 2 skilled dive masters. The dingy-drivers did a great job. The cooks made us amazing meals 3 times a day. The captain made sure it was smooth sailing everytime. Compliments to all the crewmembers. We would recomend the Mikumba Dua to everybody who would want to do a Live a board. If this is your first time or if you have done this before this will be an amazing trip. We stayed in the mastercabin and that was like staying in a 5 star floating hotel room. We would really recommend that, but if it is just for sleeping and your suitcase the other rooms are also great. Hope to come again Maribel and Martijn from Belanda (The Netherlands)

Excellent trip, highly recommended.
Overall, we had a great experience with Mikumba Dua. We would be happy to return and do another trip with them. We stayed in one of the master bedrooms. The dive masters were excellent. They were helpful when half the divers started having ear problems from back to back diving, diligent with respect to safety procedures, incredible in their ability to spot macros. In general, it was a pleasure exchanging and learning from them. The food exceeded our expectations! The occasional snack after the last dive of the day was such a treat! The planning was really well done and we managed to do everything in a timely fashion without any rushing. Staying at the master bedroom was very nice. The interior is beautiful and the bed comfortable.

Excellent cruise much more beyond diving expectations. Fun, friendly staff, adventures, snorkeling, islands exploration, fireplace on the beach are just a few things to mention which are part of what a customer receives in this cruise. Good the cabin with balcony, superb tailor made services, nice cuisine. A special thanks to Damien, Geremy and their fantastic crew. When things are done with passion the outcome is always great! Perfect diving, on-board and above-water experience
We have to start with the diving - Komodo has exceptional and varied sites. The dive guides- special mention to Saldy - were experienced, knowledgable and professional., making sure that every diver was well-prepared for the conditions at each site and had a great experience. Strong full moon currents made for exciting dives with loads of manta and shark action, but also the best coral and quantity of fish that we have seen for a long time, The balance with inland activities between dives was also great (dragons and a couple of lovely sunset treks). however, the main reason we are so pleased that we chose the Mikumba Dua was the perfect on-board experience. The master cabin was beautiful, light and far more roomy than expected, with its own balcony. On deck was chilled and the chef did a phenomenal job of feeding us with delicious, fresh food. The entire crew were so professional and friendly. Working as a great team to make sure everything was perfect with our trio. We loved the last night party on board - gate-crashed by some from surrounding boats - the music, singing and dancing was that good! Honestly, there’s nothing we can say could be improved - thank you to the whole crew🙏

Komodo diving at its best
Mikumba made diving Komodo a highlight of our Indonesian trip! Starting with the diving, Komodo offers world class dive sites without having to travel hours by boat. It was amazing. Mikumba has an exceptional boat. It offers comfortable living quarters, space to hang out outside and a roomy dive area for equipment and people. The staff are amazing. Starting with the boat crew who always have a smile on their face and are always willing to help. The kitchen staff are amazing. Delicious food every meal, thoughtful snacks and small touches throughout the week. Lastly the dive guides are great. Very friendly, safety orientated and are excellent at finding amazing underwater creatures. We very much enjoyed our trip to Komodo. Thanks Mikumba.

First but not last liveaboard
The Mikumba Dua is run by an extremely friendly guy who always has time for your questions and always helps with your requests. Jem leads a crew that reflects these traits and consistently helped us eat, learn and escorted us through our dives while having a lot of fun. The Mikumba Dua has a maximum capacity of 10 so you will really feel the hospitality and get to know everyone with ease. I dont know what's stopping you but if the dates are right then you should really book this boat, we'll never forget our 1st liveaboard thanks to Jem and his team.
