Probably the best Christmas break ever
This was an amazing experience. The diving was phenomenal, the guides were amazing, the rooms were clean and comfortable, the food was delicious. Like others have mentioned, it's a bit stressful when it's one guide for eight divers and all divers have different skill sets, comfort underwater and need help. This is an amazing liveaboard, but I 100% echo other diver's reviews when they say that more dive guides are needed, the current ratio can be problematic if you have panicky divers in your group. The food was absolutely delicious, but it would've been great to see more vegetarian options too. The room was extremely comfortable, one of the best sleeps I've had when travelling. The crew was extremely friendly and humourous, which added to the experience. Maldives overall is expensive, and you'll need more than 20gb data sim!

We had a fantastic adventure at affordable prices. The diving was truly amazing, and the vessel was well maintained with a great staff.
We had a wonderful trip and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. We experienced an 8-to-1 ratio of divers to guides, which, while exciting, made it challenging at times due to the number of inexperienced divers. For an even better experience, I believe a smaller ratio or a reorganization of divers based on their experience and skills underwater could enhance future trips. The dive sites were truly fantastic, making this one of the best diving experiences I've had in my 30 years of diving. As it was my first visit to the Maldives, I was thrilled with the overall adventure. The crew was exceptional and very helpful, even catching some fresh fish for sashimi and decorating the boat for the Christmas holidays, which added a nice touch. Some added benefits included free nitrox and a spacious dive boat, both of which contributed positively to the experience. However, I did notice some areas for improvement. The management could benefit from more organized communication regarding information and airport pickups. Additionally, I found the hot tub on the boat was not operational throughout the trip, and from other reviews, it seems this has been an ongoing issue. Overall, it was a fantastic trip, and I look forward to seeing how future experiences can be even better.

Great boat, security briefing lacking
Felicity is a great boat, although after the recent issues in the Red Sea, I found their security briefing severely lacking! Couldn’t see and life rafts, no info about fire extinguishers, „in case of emergency, just grab your (plastic wrapped) life jackets from your closets and come to the rear of the boat…“ Initially it was stated, who doesn‘t attend the dive briefings or doesn‘t pay attention doesn’t dive. There were a lot of Chinese who did exactly that and were still allowed to dive. Briefing on a (feeding) nurse shark dive was „stay put in the sand“. Chinese: let‘s swim after the sharks and put our cameras right in their faces, kicking up sand and ruining the experience for everyone else! If there are no consequences for such behaviour, it will never stop! My group and dive guide were great but it‘s always luck who you get onboard. Service by the Crew was outstanding and the biggest cabin I‘ve ever had on a liveaboard! Nobody used the jakuzzi though 😅

Great trip with Felicity
First, the food is the very first great surprise especial for my Chinese stomach. Great balance between western and oriental tastes. There are always fresh vegetables cooked, not just cold salad. And the crew managed to provided sashimi twice in a week from their fishing. Second, the hardware is almost perfect. Very well maintained and space is big enough for 20+ divers. Even the equipment for rent are in good shape and very convenient to use. Third, the overall vibe created by both the crew and guests are comfortable. As the only four Chinese on boat, we don't feel isolated. Something need to note. 1. Some diving arrangements need to be improved, especially the whale shark and manta night dive. For whale shark, it took two hours for Dhoni to go and come back to the main boat. All the guests complained and thought it is just to save the fuel and time for the main boat. Manta night dive is one of the highlights for the entire trip. But the visibility was a disaster as many divers did not follow the instructions in the brief and the guides did not lead this dive properly for the first 20 minutes. 2. Be aware that there is no tank requirement for this itinerary. Our group is four Chinese divers with two very junior divers from Europe. I understand this is the best they can do with only three guides. But you definitely don't want one diver who suck up all air in 20 minutes in your group. I had to lead the rest of the group after the guide went to surface early with the one out of air multiple times. Only in the last dive I can enjoy a decent 50+ minutes. In general, Felicity is a great boat and worth to visit again in future.

Excellent choice
I have absolutely no complaints from this liveaboard. The diving was amazing, I saw sharks on every dive except for the one night dive where we focused on macro. The crew was exceptionally helpful and were great guides. The boat was well equipped to handle anything you might need. Would definitely book again!

Liveaboard in Maldives mid october
We recently spent a week aboard the Felicity in the Maldives, and overall, it was a great experience. The crew on the boat and the dhoni were friendly and attentive. Our dive guides—Allatey, Ali, Wishu, and Sarah—were professional and knowledgeable, which made our dives enjoyable and safe. The food was good, with the BBQ on the island being a highlight. The boat itself was clean and comfortable, providing a pleasant base for our activities. Diving was diverse, with interesting sites that kept us engaged throughout the week. We’re planning to return in May and would recommend the Felicity for anyone looking for a solid liveaboard experience in the Maldives.

A great trip
Overall it was a great trip. The crew were very safety cautious and made a lot of effort to ensure the group did as many dives as possible despite terrible weather and rough sea all week.

Incredible Dive Experience
We participated in the Felicity liveaboard between September 21 and 28, 2024. The boat is very comfortable, we chose the main deck cabin and it was very good, very spacious, with privacy and easy access. The dives were incredible and the dive masters were super competent and attentive, always concerned about the group but without this becoming a nuisance for the divers during the dives. The spaces on the boat in general, from the main salon to the external leisure areas, are very spacious and comfortable and the service from the crew is very friendly. The food is buffet style and meets expectations, but without much refinement. It is a bit lacking in the variety of drinks, especially wines and beers, which do not have many options. Overall we really enjoyed it and the dives were incredible and well organized.
