The luxurious 32-meter/105-foot-long Mermaid II (Mermaid 2) liveaboard offers 8 spacious cabins, each featuring individual climate control, a large wardrobe, storage, and an en-suite bathroom. A budget cabin is below the deck, with climate control and a shared bathroom. The MV Mermaid II has an inviting salon with tv and video on demand and two decks, all with comfortable, stylish seating, perfect for relaxing after an adventurous day of scuba diving. Thai, Indonesian, and Western cuisine is served on board.
Mermaid II offers scuba divers the opportunity to dive into Indonesia’s best sites, including Komodo, Raja Ampat, Alor, and Ambon in style and comfort. The massive dive deck and dive platform provide divers with easy access to ensure a relaxing dive experience. The professional and friendly staff is also available to assist divers as needed. Amazing diving, life and people
Amazing diving in Komodo aboard the Mermaid II. Diving was everything you could ask for and more. The dive guides were attentive, knowledgable and able to find incredible life on our dives while prioritizing everyone's safety. Easily the most comfortable boat I've ever been on including comforts such as a clean towel after every dive and hot chocolate after returning from night dives. The cruise director Luca went above and beyond to ensure an amazing experience for all on board. We had an amazing group on board and made several great friends. Hoping to return soon for another trip on the Mermaid II!

I had such an amazing time and would definitely book with Mermaid II again.
There were 17 divers on this trip and everyone got along so well!! The whole vibe of the crew and passengers was very relaxed and made for a very enjoyable trip. The food was outstanding and the dives were everything I thought they would be. Being able to swim with whale sharks was definitely a top highlight.

Phenomenal boat, crew, and diving!
We had an incredible experience diving with Mermaid II in Raja Ampat. Luca was a wonderful cruise director, Agus was a phenomenal guide, and the entire crew was very friendly and professional. We completed all 29 dives and they were all special in different ways. So much life out there! The boat was very well-kept and the meals were delicious (vegan options, too!). Everyone on the trip had a lovely time and we will definitely keep Mermaid in mind for future visits to Indonesia. Thank you guys so much!

Amazing experience for divers or snorklers
Truly amazing! We are really just beginner divers with my 16yo son. Clement made our experience really special. He gave us a perfect mix of instructions and fun. We felt safe at every moment. My wife and daughter were snorkeling with Sari, who is another gem in the crew. Desi run the dining room, which we loved as well. She also gives excellent massages. Mermaid was our first liveaboard experience and we were not dissapointed in anything. Thank you

The Best!
The crew on this trip is over the top! They pay attention to your every need. We were so spoiled. They set up our tanks, assisted in getting us in and out of gear and took our wet suits from us as soon as they were off to get them rinsed and hanging before the next dive. Best yet they did it all with huge smiles. It truly seems like the crew is having a great time while they work. I brought my regulator mask and fins but rented a BC and wet suit both of which were in great condition! I also took the Nitrox certification class while on board which was easy to do around the diving and I’m so happy I did! Komodo can be known for its crazy currents and I was a little apprehensive not having the experience with hooking in before. I felt so safe on board this boat. My dive master Allo, made me feel so secure and found us so many creatures I never would have seen with out him. Dive briefings were thorough and the crew made everything so efficient. They dive with 4 people per DM so you don’t feel crowded but you feel looked after. The cruise director Sara did an excellent job of relaying all information, being an extra Instructor the water on big current dives and making everyone feel at home. The food was great and we never felt hungry! This was an excellent trip! This was my first live aboard but listening to the others who had been on many, this crew and food were the best. I will be back and will follow Mermaid II to each of their destinations!! Thank you!!

An unforgettable adventure!
Diving the Komodo’s was an amazing and diverse adventure! Our dive masters and the entire staff offered the highest level of service and made us feel safe and well cared for. The ship is lovely with plenty of space to spread out. Rooms are cozy but comfortable. Food was plentiful and tasty. We would definitely book again on the Mermaid II.

Amazing diving and fun liveaboard - worth it!
Happy to see healthy vibrant reefs, saw everything from large pelagics like manta rays to tiny little creatures during muck dives; we lucked out with the weather and saw beautiful sunsets and starry nights; the crew was so friendly and helpful, they definitely added a lot to the overall experience; also lucked out and made some new diving buddies aboard! All in all an amazing liveaboard experience I'd recommend!
