The luxurious 32-meter/105-foot-long Mermaid II (Mermaid 2) liveaboard offers 8 spacious cabins, each featuring individual climate control, a large wardrobe, storage, and an en-suite bathroom. A budget cabin is below the deck, with climate control and a shared bathroom. The MV Mermaid II has an inviting salon with tv and video on demand and two decks, all with comfortable, stylish seating, perfect for relaxing after an adventurous day of scuba diving. Thai, Indonesian, and Western cuisine is served on board.
Mermaid II offers scuba divers the opportunity to dive into Indonesia’s best sites, including Komodo, Raja Ampat, Alor, and Ambon in style and comfort. The massive dive deck and dive platform provide divers with easy access to ensure a relaxing dive experience. The professional and friendly staff is also available to assist divers as needed. We felt very comfortable and welcome during the week on the Mermaid II. The crew was super nice and helpful, we could learn a lot from our guide underwater (especially when it comes to macro finding and photography) and the atmosphere on the ship was very good (the live music in the afternoon from the crew was great :)). Great nice people, funny conversations and delicious food, what more could you want. The ship was kept very clean, the equipment was perfectly prepared and always looked after. All in all, a successful trip. Thank you for that!

Stunning dives
I had a wonderful time ! The most amazing dive was the one with the whale sharks on the second day - what an experience !! The crew is very friendly and here if needed and we simply eat so well ! Only positive points. Looking forward for my next Liveaboard ^^

Great healthy reefs, wonderful nightdives, Dragons, Mantas, Sharks, Whalesharks & lots of smaller interesting creatures alongside a big variety of underwater sceneries.

Beautiful Raja Amput
Manta, Wobbegong Shark, walking shark, pygmy seahorses, many types of Nudi. Ble water mangroves and archer fish. Visibility is variable due to weather. Service and food is excellent. Dive masters are great. Clear and consistent communication. Range of nationalities as guests. Safety conscious. If you are a less experienced diver like me, ensure you leave room in your budget for hiring a dive computer and Nitrox and or Nitrox course. Hire equipment is excellent but not cheap. Definitely bring your own if you can. Also a dive torch. They will definitely look after you.

Best week ever
This trip over-delivered and was quite wonderful. Such beautiful places, with three or four dives most days, all fascinating in their way, and brilliantly led by the dive masters. The cruise director was brilliant, looking after the less experienced divers, and kept the atmosphere fun and light while imparting a lot of information. Food was good, lots of variety and catered to all tastes, with an amazing four meals a day. As a snorkeller I was really well looked after, as was all our kit. The trip delivered on three big bucket list items in a spectacular way.

Best Liveaboard Crew
We truly enjoyed our liveaboard experience with Mermaid 2. The whole crew from dive guides to cook were very friendly and helped us to enjoy every moment of it. Diving sites were great and the guides were familiar with the sites which helped us to what to expect in each site. Food was delicious with a good variety of cuisines and it was inclusive of everyone who follow certain diets.

Top notch service in the best diving destination
The crew members and dive masters were super friendly and professional. All dive masters try to show the best of Raja Ampat to divers all the time (e.g. pigmy seahorse). The food and dessert was delicious and abundant as well. Very nice air conditioned cabins and salon.
