The luxurious 32-meter/105-foot-long Mermaid II (Mermaid 2) liveaboard offers 8 spacious cabins, each featuring individual climate control, a large wardrobe, storage, and an en-suite bathroom. A budget cabin is below the deck, with climate control and a shared bathroom. The MV Mermaid II has an inviting salon with tv and video on demand and two decks, all with comfortable, stylish seating, perfect for relaxing after an adventurous day of scuba diving. Thai, Indonesian, and Western cuisine is served on board.
Mermaid II offers scuba divers the opportunity to dive into Indonesia’s best sites, including Komodo, Raja Ampat, Alor, and Ambon in style and comfort. The massive dive deck and dive platform provide divers with easy access to ensure a relaxing dive experience. The professional and friendly staff is also available to assist divers as needed. Exceeded my trip of a Lifetime!
Beyond Exceeded my bucket list trip of a lifetime! We had the Best people on our boat! Guests and staff all included! We had a Ball!! The diving in Raja Ampat is Truly Mind Blowing! Worth every penny!

We felt very comfortable and welcome during the week on the Mermaid II. The crew was super nice and helpful, we could learn a lot from our guide underwater (especially when it comes to macro finding and photography) and the atmosphere on the ship was very good (the live music in the afternoon from the crew was great :)). Great nice people, funny conversations and delicious food, what more could you want. The ship was kept very clean, the equipment was perfectly prepared and always looked after. All in all, a successful trip. Thank you for that!

Amazing diving, life and people
Amazing diving in Komodo aboard the Mermaid II. Diving was everything you could ask for and more. The dive guides were attentive, knowledgable and able to find incredible life on our dives while prioritizing everyone's safety. Easily the most comfortable boat I've ever been on including comforts such as a clean towel after every dive and hot chocolate after returning from night dives. The cruise director Luca went above and beyond to ensure an amazing experience for all on board. We had an amazing group on board and made several great friends. Hoping to return soon for another trip on the Mermaid II!

A delightful trip of a life time.
The Mermaid 2 and her crew were an absolute delight. From delicious and plentiful food to comfortable cabins to an amazing massage, I felt well taken care of and pampered the whole time. The dive sites were great - from giant whale sharks and dancing mantas to adorable cuddle fish, bobtail squid, and baby octopus, we were treated to some seriously epic diving. The staff was warm and funny and made the trip very enjoyable. Our guide Bram was amazing, finding and pointing out a ton of cool tiny things. Luca kept us laughing (and guessing, his joking sarcasm rivals my own) and well informed. Desi may be the star though; incredibly sweet, attentive, warm, and she gives really amazing massages. No trip is perfect and there were a few hiccups, mostly of my own making (I leaned an important lesson about slowing down and double checking gear after flooding my camera), but this trip was pretty close. Not only that but all the other passengers were delightful! Swiss, German, English, American, Canadian, Belgian...a nice international mix of really great humans. Be careful playing Monopoly with Bob though, he looks innocent but he's really a shark!

A dream experience
The highlights were of course the spots with the big things like manta rays and whale sharks, but the complete underwater world and coral diversity is a highlight, the reefs are healthy and very well maintained and the dive boats do everything they can to keep it that way

- The boat was very nicely maintained for its age and ultimately well organized. The number of dive guides, so that there was optimal support in small groups. The organization of the dive sites and the coordination of the groups.

Best I’ve done.
From the moment we stepped on board to the moment we stepped off, the crew were all completely focussed on making the trip one to remember. The standard of professionalism, attention to detail, subject matter knowledge, helpfulness, patience and ‘sense of humour’ were consistent both on the boat and in the water. What was also impressive was the passing of information and that everyone knew what was happening and when. The safety of diving in and out of the water was at a very high standard. It was a confidence builder for the less experienced divers who could see they were in safe hands. This is the first Liveaboard trip that I have said I would come back and do again. Of the 15+ trips I’ve done over the years on liveaboards, this was the best I’ve been on. Well done Luca, Daria, Ketut and Desi and all the rest of the crew. Brilliant.

Epic trip ! United failed to get my checked dive bag to my destination but Mermaid 🧜🏼♀️ made it all OK. Communication was encouraging and helpful from the GM Kay and they helped with getting me some replacement gear like booties, head hoody and fins that fit me well, before embarkation for the trip dfrom Bali at their dive shop All4Diving. They take care of their guests like family from pick up at the airport or hotels to the dive vessel and then on board its all seamlessly organized. On the Mermaid the dive deck offers concierge diving at the Stearn of the vessel. Rinse tanks for dive gear had disinfectants and camera gear rinse tanks, mask and dive computers all in their own tanks. They even have warm water showers on return from the dives this was really so nice ! Our DM Bob has been with this organization for 10 years. He was so knowledgeable, professional, warm and fun with amazing eyesight to spot all the cute critters and took such good care of our group of 4 divers. Our dinghy drivers Aan & Erwis were super efficient. The whole crew was so cool 😎 Luca our cruise director was super suave and worked tirelessly with focus and detailed attention for everybody to make our trip outstanding. Mermaid even offered us Starlink Internet connection during the sailing. We had a marvellous videographer Christopher Pen onboard with us and he made a lovely film capturing the highlights of our superlative dive week. Komodo was truly the highlight of our trip. The water was so clear, cool & so blue with Manta Magic. We were very lucky and got to dive Manta Alley without any other dive boats ! What a treat. The food was yummy and more than sufficient and I loved the coffee machine. Hats off to the Chef Bruno and sou chef Wikan. I also want to acknowledge Desy & Ilham our stewards who worked tirelessly to make our surroundings clean and presentable always providing the best presentation for the food, making the beds, cleaning our cabins etc. our captain was also very good and he runs a tight ship. Loved the whole experience would do another trip back in a heartbeat 💓
