Great dive boat for adventures in and out of the water
The Neomi was a comfortable boat with fabulous guides offering a well paced dive schedule with a few other activities to break up the diving, The boat accommodations were relaxing with good air conditioning in both sleeping and dining areas and plenty of deck space for reading, relaxing and star gazing.

So impressed we've immediately book our 2nd trip
The dive sites (Komodo trip) are amazing; but what makes the trip wonderful is the crew and our dive lead who are as attentive and fun as they can be. The boat is new and in good condition. Our room is spacious and has a private balcony which really is a big big plus. We love it so much we booked the second trip already with them.

Great indonesian cruise
Liveaboard Dive Cruise Review – M/V Neomi (Indonesia) The cruise aboard the Neomi was, overall, a highly positive experience, fully meeting expectations in terms of hospitality, comfort, and the quality of onboard services. Customer care was exemplary: the entire crew demonstrated unfailing courtesy, availability, and a genuine service-oriented attitude. The cabin offered a high level of comfort, and hygiene standards – both in the accommodations and in common areas – remained consistently excellent. This had a significant impact on the overall quality of the stay on board. Some critical aspects are worth reporting. Although functional and comfortable, the Neomi showed a particularly limited cruising speed, which is presumably linked to the age of the vessel. This resulted in very lengthy transfers – in some cases exceeding 15–18 hours – which inevitably restricted the number of dives that could be carried out on at least two days of the itinerary. While the route itself implied considerable navigation time, the actual slowness of the vessel, especially in comparison with similar past experiences, had not been fully understood in advance. The dives were all very beautiful, varied, and of considerable interest. Nevertheless, an additional area for improvement should be highlighted: the entire diving schedule was managed from support tenders rather than from the main vessel. In principle, this approach is correct, as it increases flexibility and allows for more precise positioning on dive sites. However, due to positioning inaccuracies and occasional organizational shortcomings, the drop-off point did not always coincide with the optimal entry location. As a result, divers were at times forced to fin against the current for prolonged stretches – an unnecessary effort that detracts from comfort, especially when diving from small tenders where exact positioning should be ensured. Communication and dive briefings The most significant structural limitation of the cruise concerned communication. The crew’s command of English – including the Cruise Director and Dive Master – was markedly limited, despite their evident commitment and positive attitude. This shortfall had a direct impact on the quality of dive briefings, which were often essential and lacked sufficient verbal detail. It should be acknowledged, however, that the dive sites were illustrated with very clear and accurate drawings, which were genuinely useful for planning. Still, a stronger focus on developing communication skills remains, in my view, a key priority to secure more comprehensive and professional information delivery. The cruise on the Neomi remains, overall, a valuable experience: the high quality of onboard services, the attention to guests, the impeccable cleanliness, and the beauty of the dives are undeniable strengths. A few elements – particularly cruising speed, accuracy in positioning support boats, and the crew’s language proficiency – represent clear improvement areas which, if addressed, would significantly enhance the overall standard of the offer. With a limited number of targeted measures, the Neomi has all the potential to position itself as a benchmark liveaboard experience in the Indonesian region.

Sensational tour with a magnificent marine life
A perfect tour from start to finish. The crew, the dive guides and the catering were excellent. The dive sites in southern Raja Ampat and in the Banda Sea were great. There were almost no other divers at the sites, perfect visibility and the corals were in perfect condition. We were able to see hammerhead sharks, manta rays and much more. The cabins were much more comfortable and spacious than on many other dive boats. We would book the trip and the boat again at any time.

Best experience in 15 years
Truly exceptional - I can’t be too positive about my experience on Neomi and it was by some distance my best liveaboard in 15 years. It was exceptional from start to finish and in every dimension. I guess the crew can’t take all the credit for the dives. Sharks on every dive- hunting or sleeping, Octupuses, manta, snakes, Nudis, but they knew where to be when and my dive guide Bawa must have eyes on the back of his head. He doesn’t miss a thing. Every member of the crew made me feel at home and so well cared for. Generous, attentive and all with a smile. The food was great and always plenty of it. My cabin was bright, clean and had pristine sheets, a powerful shower and was cleaned daily. I was travelling alone and shared the boat with the owner, Mr Ronnie, and his beautiful family. It was wonderful to be treated like part of his family all week. There is so much more of Indonesia to explore and I will definitely be booking with Neomi.

Exceeded Expections, wonderful Diving & very comfortable accommodations.
Exceeded Expectations ! Loved leaving out of Fak Fak and diving Pisang Island an unexpected surprise, with beautiful reefs, tons of fish & critters. Misool was gorgeously seductive with pinnacles that boasted Mantas, schooling barracudas, batfish, Sharks, Humphead wrasse, trevally, fusiliers, Mackeral & Soft Coral forests teeming with marine biodiversity. Currents were minimal and weather was sunny with very little rain. Dive Deck was top notch ! Itinerary was well planned. Crew was outstanding ! Loved the food and my cabin was cosy & with good mini split ac to rest in with a nice big attached bath. This ship was a gorgeous stable Phinisi & the crew put out the sails for us on the last day:)
