“A great week full of dive souvenirs, in a superb island surrounding, on a very confortable boat.”
Highlights
Built with divers' needs in mind, M/Y Black Pearl offers week-long itineraries to Palau, one of the world's top diving destinations. 12 guest cabins cater to 24 guests. Each cabin features twin beds, ensuite bathrooms, AC, and a safety deposit box. The new 200x210cm latex mattresses with 300-thread count Egyptian cotton will submerge guests in luxury and comfort.
Social areas include a large sun deck with beach beds, tanning benches, a dedicated camera setup area, a lounge with a TV, and a 6-person whirlpool. The outdoor terrace at the back of the boat is ideal for a sundowner to reflect on the day’s adventures.
The M/Y Black Pearl features a comfortable dive deck fitted with anti-slip flooring, a designated camera maintenance area with a low-pressure air gun and work table, and 2 fully-kitted diving skiffs. Palau is known for having some of the best diving in the world, with a huge variety of marine life, deep drop-offs, wrecks, and cave systems. Itineraries visit some of Palau's most notable dive sites, including Blue Holes and Blue Corner. The cruise also includes visiting the stunning Jellyfish Lake for a memorable snorkeling session among hundreds of harmless jellyfish. The Black Pearl doesn't require many logged dives; however, divers should be comfortable diving in currents to join this trip, as these can be unpredictable and quite strong in some dive sites. Inexperienced and beginner-level divers may find some dives quite challenging and may be asked by the Cruise Director to skip dives unsuitable for their diving experience level.

Awesome liveaboard trip
The Black Pearl is a really special liveaboard boat; we have done 15 liveaboards around the world and this ship is a real stand out. Like a private yacht. The crew are excellent; from Cruise director Mo down to the chefs, house keepers and boat guys. All were extremely attentive and friendly. Great food, great fellow divers and great diving in Palau.

Perfect dive trip!!
I really enjoyed my time on The Black Pearl. It is by far the nicest boat ive been on with comfortable cabins and plenty of shared public areas to relax or socialize in. I approcated that being on a liveaboard gave us the ability to leave earlier in the day, beating out most mainland boats to dive sites and avoiding crowds. We also had the flexibility to vote on changes to the dive schedule if people wanted to repeat sites or go somewhere new. Lastly, the staff were amazing!! Our dive guide Jessie was fantastic! She also has a nearly supernatural ability to find macro stuff on dives. But everyone on the boat really worked together to make sure we had an unforgettable dive. The food was delicious and the service top notch, with a focus on the little details that made the teip feel like a luxury experience. Highly recommend!

The only why to dive in Palau!
Exceptional trip and much better experience on board than last year diving from shore. The food was great and there was enough proteins and variation for pescatarians!

Black Pearl is awesome!
The crew takes care of your every need. If something isn't to your liking they fix it! Swimming with manta's almost every morning next to boat before you even make your first dive!

What a honeymoon!
We went on our honeymoon (slightly belated), and could not have wished for a better experience! Such a great crew - special thanks to Joddy and Mo, as well as the rest of the crew. The crew even made a honeymoon cake for us, which was a truly sweet touch and a fond memory for us. The level of service was incredible; we didn't even have to wash our gear ourselves at the end of the trip. The boat itself is great - I don't know if I've ever been on a liveaboard with a wine fridge, draught beer and laundry service before?! It was just fantastic! And the two dinghies were super comfortable to dive from compared to RIBs. The dive sites were great, and they were awesome in both avoiding the crowds and selecting the right time for the right conditions. We really got some incredible experiences that we will treasure forever.

Wonderful diving trip in Palau
Excellent trip aboard the Black Pearl, Momo and his team are very kind. We felt comfortable and the boat is big enough that we weren't on top of each other constantly. The food is varied and of good quality (have fresh salad for example). It is true that the boat does not move much and that the majority of the trips are made by dinggy (10-15'l. The real difference with an operator on the island is the advantage of being the first/last on site outside the peak hours of the dive centers. Momo will be your first choice as a guide to finding big while Jeffry has a keen eye for finding macro. Great team overall!

Amazing week on the black pearl
By far the best live-aboard I've been to so far and it's all down to the crew, from the cruise director through the dive guides and everyone else on board who really work hard to make sure everyone is happy. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, diving is very easy from the dhingies and there was always a lot of good food ready after diving. I usually like to complain but it was really hard to do this week :)
