The Ocean Albatros is a 104-meter/341-foot-long cruise ship with luxury amenities that carries 175 guests on an adventure through the Antarctic region. The bestest travel experince ever on Ocean Albatros
I booked 10 day Antarctica Expedition on Ocean Albatros through LiveAboard. LiveAboard Team was very helpful and prompt in responding to my questions, reservations, support with visa process and sharing relevant information. I flew to Ushuaia, followed instructions, everything went so smooth until I board the ship. Ocean Albatros ship is a paradise - absolutely beautiful exterior, carefully thought through - functional - stylish - comfortable interior, sailed smoothly & safely through Drake and anchored among icebergs like an Albatros - I was obsessed with the ship itself and took so many photos. Then the ship crew, from very adorable & capable ship captain to his team, restaurant & housekeeping team, admin team - oh we were so papmered with care, comfort, food, entertainment - like a great big family of love. Then the expedition crew, who tirelessy worked all day around prepping us with right gear & advice, find safe weather passages, finding safe landings, zodiac rides, kayak rides, polar plunges, lectures, information - not a single minute wasted waiting and nothing was cancelled - they kept us busy exploring. Then the fellow travellers - such a lovely and energetic bunch - had so much fun onbaord. If you have been contemplating whether to go to Antarctica - becasue of safety or any other reason - just book your trip and get on board with Ocean Albatros. Unbelievable how friendly the crew is and the quality they delivered. Every great delicious food, 3 times a day, the best quality we are still amazed how they delivered this 5 star quality for 11 days. Thank you for this experience of a lifetime The expedition leader was also great to be woken up every morning in a pleasant manner, with a plan for the day Unbelievable how friendly the fellow passengers were, looking out for each other, helping out when needed. Trip of a lifetime!
The camping was a definite once in a lifetime experience. It was surreal to wake up to the pristine snow and hear glaciers and snow falling throughout the night. The kayaking was great and allowed you to get up close to wildlife. Polar plunge was fun and the people were amazing!

Extraordinary Antarctic cruise experiences
The Antarctica small ship cruise is the best trip I have ever taken. We have been to many beautiful places such as Alaska, New Zealand, Australia, and Galapogus islands. Antarctica's natural beaty is extraordinary in terms of glaciers and wild animals such as humpback whales, penguins, seals, and orcas.
