Great trip worth the extra price tag!
While we didn't get the intended itinerary (due to storms), we definitely enjoyed the great ship, great crew, and wonderful food onboard! Diving north never felt so luxurious :-D The ship is almost new (less than two years old), and very well thought out. Definitely feels like a Cadillac among VW when comparing to other safari boats in Egypt.

Incredible Diving and Luxury Living
This was my first liveaboard experience and it was everything I'd hoped it'd be and then some. Firstly the diving: The quality of the diving at Brothers, Daedalus, Elphinstone and the other sites we visited was exceptional. Each dive was carefully planned and mapped out and Ahmed provided top notch briefings. There was a lot of emphasis on safety, which was reassuring. 3 dives a day was perfect for me and it also ensured that the crew got the time they needed to refill tanks etc. The dive guides, Seifi, Batista, and Bara'a clearly know the sites like the back of their hand and were always there to guide, serve as a point of reference and even show things I otherwise would've missed. Hospitality: Was top-notch. The crew worked incredibly hard to make sure we were comfortable at all times and the attention to detail was unexpected and unparalleled. Equipment was returned to the correct station each time, hot towels and juice or hot chocolate awaited us after each dive, the rooms were turned-down every day and even the linen was changed half-way through the week. There was a little piece of chocolate left on our beds after each turn-down service. Every one of the crew went above in beyond to make sure we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, which was really appreciated. The staff even made sure that another diver and I celebrated our 100th dives with a cake each, which was very special. The Food: The meals absoluletely blew my mind. I cannot imagine the amount of effort that went into the meals that were prepped for us 3 times a day. Eggs to order for breakfast, elaborate 3 course meals for lunch and dinner with soups and salad buffets. Not sure how the kitchen staff produced the variety of foods that they did - seafood buffets, a whole grilled lamb, steak and a wide spread of desserts. Igazi made sure everyone was fed and happy and even catered to the smallest allergy, intolerance and the occassional fussy eater. The attention to detail: everything ran like CLOCKWORK and that is a testament to the work done behind the scenes by the dive guides, the crew and the staff. Numbered and coloured towels and ponchos for each room and each guest; it was five star treatment. The Boat: The vessel is HUGE. I had seen videos online but nothing had prepared me for the luxorious space of the rooms, the salon, the dive platfrom and each of the 5 decks. Suffice to say that all my future Red Sea liveaboard trips will be with Scuba Scene
