Socorros are not to be missed

The boat is old, wear and tear showing (Driy dock this July?). The boat goes about 10 knots, 24hrs for 245 miles to/from Socorrows. The wind was particularly strong (10-30 knots), limiting the dive sites. The dive guides were better than average, but they tended to bounce dive. Water was cold, 21C, requiring a 7mm suit. Lots of giant mantas, dolphins, and 4-5 species of sharks, some schooing hammerheads. Many opportunities to video and photo animals up close, even with average vis (40-80 feet). Grey and humpback whales in Cabo ended the trip nicely. Cabin was small, cramped, a bit old. Food was plentiful, better than average. Company was good.

Phenomenal trip all around!

This was our first liveaboard and it was absolutely incredible. The crew is beyond accommodating, friendly, and knowledgeable!! The food was outstanding; we were not expecting to have such incredible meals and drinks! Our cabin was great, nothing crazy, but did have excellent AC and water pressure! The crew would clean and make beds every morning! Everyone was so good about checking in on us. The dive sites made the trip!! We had mantas swimming over us, playful seals, octopus, schools of hammerheads, beautiful corals, nudibranchs and so much more! We also did a few wrecks and a night dive which we loved! DMs were attentive and fun! They took care of our gear for us after every dive. We also had flight and luggage issues and the Fun Baja team was extremely communicative and accommodating. I would highly recommend to anyone!
