Highlights
The MV Carpe Vita, a sister ship to the Carpe Diem and Carpe Novo liveaboards, is a luxury yacht offering year-round diving in the Maldives. There are 10 comfortable cabins spread over 3 decks, each with private bathroom facilities, individually controlled AC, storage space, safety deposit boxes, and a desk and chair. On the lower deck are 6 standard cabins, which have one queen-size bed and a super single bed, the main deck has two superior cabins, which have king-size beds, which can be separated into two super single beds and ocean views. The upper deck has 2 VIP spacious suites with a California King bed and ocean views.
Social areas aboard the Carpe Vita liveaboard include the air-conditioned salon and lounge, equipped with a flat-screen TV and entertainment system. Meals are prepared by a fine-dining chef and served semi-buffet style at the back of the boat's open-air dining and bar area. There are 3 partially shaded sun decks with comfortable loungers where guests can soak up the sun and enjoy the sea breeze.
Carpe Vita dive itineraries explore some of the best dive sites in the Maldives. Cruises are seven to ten nights long, and divers can see everything from pelagics like mantas, sharks, and whale sharks to tiny shrimps, nudibranchs, and ghost pipefish. Diving takes place from the accompanying dive dhoni (boat), and free Nitrox is available for those certified.

Best liveaboard, varied diving, plenty of space, outdoor eating
Squadron of sting rays, close to cleaning manta, up close to 20 plus nurse sharks, feeding mantas at boat, feeding whale shark at boat. Beach bbq, all staff fantastic. Ease of diving from Dhoni, brilliant dive guide finds octopus, manta shrimps, leaf fish, frog fish and much more

Excellent boat and crew for a fantastic cruise
Diving with Manta rays and sharks was fantastic. The meals were really great with variety and excellent choice. Bathroom of cabin #2 could do with a little renovation

Loved it!
Boat staff was super helpful and friendly. Eg. had trouble with my dive computer and they fixed it. Our dive guides were very professional and fun to dive with. I really enjoyed all dives, with amazing sea life on every dive. I can definitely recommend this trip!

8 Days of fun and super diving
Our first day of diving, encountering a huge shoal of sting rays just as we jumped in the water - it was amazing! Each day then just got better and better. The dive guides knew just where to go - sharks were our main target and we weren’t disappointed - reef sharks, black tips, white tips, nurse sharks and the topper of them all, Whale shark :-) Swimming off the back of the boat with a friendly pod of nurse sharks, a night dive with giant Mantas, and beautiful reefs of every colour fish and coral you can imagine, all made our trip very special. A huge thank you to the crew of Carpe Vita . . . and the other guests on board . . . can't wait to do it again!

I had the best-ever liveaboard experience with Carpe Vita. The logistics was like clockwork! The crew knew the right sites to get to to ensure the guests saw the best the Maldives had to offer. Great and very complete cruise
Big, macro, there's everything and the boat is super comfortable.The guides and crew are very competent, the whole cruise is on nitrox. No extra charge to pay except alcohol on board.
