Highlights
The M/V Palau Aggressor II is a 32m long liveaboard with 9 staterooms carrying 18 passengers who can explore WWII wrecks, blue holes, and bottomless walls in Micronesia. Scuba diving with the Palau Aggressor II offers up to 5 daily dives, including night dives. All staterooms have a private bathroom, shower, storage, and individual climate control. Meals and snacks are available throughout the day and served in dining or outdoor lounging areas. They also include American options and local cuisine. Complimentary soft drinks, iced tea, beer, and wine can be enjoyed at the many lounging spots all over the boat. Guests can relax in the air-conditioned lounge and enjoy the sun deck with loungers or hammocks, deck chairs, active bar service, and a music player. On the dive deck, there is a dedicated camera table for large camera rigs, and the deck is also very spacious to store all the diving and safety equipment.
When traveling aboard the M/V Palau Aggressor II, the diving is done from a skiff with its captain and experienced dive leaders. The dive site itinerary includes Blue Corner, Blue Holes, Chandelier Caves, Denges Passage, German Channel, and Ngedebus Coral Gardens. The divers can find grey reef sharks, white-tip reef sharks, manta rays, cuttlefish, Mandarin fish, Napolean Wrasses, swarms of Jellyfish, and WWII wrecks under the water. During February and March, the guests can find large schools of Moorish Idols, Unicorn Fish, and several species of Butterfly Fish. The boat crew encounters massive bait balls of scad all year round in and around Ulong and German Channel and on the reefs of Blue Corner and Siaes Corner.

Awesome week exploring underwater Palau
I had a great week diving aboard the Palau Aggressor II! We saw some spectacular shark, manta, and schooling jack activity at the famed dives sites of German Channel and Blue Corner. Also saw turtles galore throughout the week, did some drift dives, and experienced some gnarly currents on hook dives. The dive guides were sagacious in their choice of dive sites, but also accommodating; they let us repeat Blue Corner several times because most of the divers asked to. Although we didn't visit Jellyfish Lake due to the lack of jellyfish, I enjoyed almost every dive site that we went to because the divemasters kept things fresh by selecting sites that had different things to offer (drift vs hook vs swim, wall vs reef vs sand vs coral garden, pelagic life vs macro life, etc.), particularly as the week went on. The night dives were also very fun for me. Additionally, I appreciated the large camera table with provided wipe cloths, air dusters, and charging ports. Like many things aboard the Aggressor II, it was clear that every detail was thought through to make the experience as comfortable and convenient as possible for divers. The food was also delicious; the menu changed daily and featured a huge variety of cuisines, including Italian, Russian, Japanese, Filipino, North American, and Mexican. Huge kudos to Taffy, Jim, Johnny, Ronnie, Jun, Ike, Ramil, and Edith for running such a smooth operation and being incredibly professional but also friendly and helpful. You guys definitely made my first diving experience in Palau one to remember!

Outstanding diving, service, and accommodations!
This was the best liveaboard experience I have had to date. Highlights were the staff: Johnny: Amazing meals every day Ana: Hardworking, friendly, and always on top of keeping the rooms clean and tidy. Ike: Experienced and knowledgeable captain and great dive master / critter spotter. IB: Excellent dive guide, nice relaxed pace, great, thorough briefings. Daniel: As cruise director and divemaster, he demonstrated his commitment to making sure we all had a great trip. Very friendly, fun, and professional. Jay-R: Great backup dive guide, always with a warm smile. (Can't speak to his engineering skills, but everything worked with no issues). Jake: Skilled skiff driver, always helpful with a lively smile. Full throttle through the archway in Rock Islands was very impressive! Ronnie: Excellent DM and critter spotter. Always on top of making my sure our cameras were on board the skiff.

Good week of diving in Palau
It was a good diving trip. The challenge was maybe that we had super high expectations for Palau and these expectations were difficult to beat. But we enjoyed it.

Overall, it was a great experience.
Jellyfish Lake was the one thing that stood out most. The dives we made around Oolong were also very memorable, in part because the weather was great, but also the quality of sea life there was amazing.
