History of Master Liveaboards
Founded in 2004, Worldwide Dive and Sail (WWDAS) set out to redefine the liveaboard experience by designing, building, and operating its own fleet from the very beginning. What started with a single small vessel quickly evolved into the renowned Siren Fleet, expanding across Southeast Asia and establishing a reputation for world-class diving and consistently high standards. As the company grew beyond the region, it introduced the Master Liveaboards brand in 2014, bringing a new generation of custom-built vessels to iconic destinations worldwide. Today, Master Liveaboards encompasses the full fleet, offering expertly crafted dive itineraries across the Galapagos, Red Sea, Maldives, and beyond, with modern vessels designed to deliver exceptional comfort, safety, and access to some of the world’s most sought-after dive sites.
Diving with the Master Liveaboards fleet
A Master liveaboard ensures that you get the most out of your dive vacation. The (up to) four dives per day are enhanced by dive staff who can help you find special critters and breathtaking scenes. The kitting-up space is very roomy for comfort and convenience, featuring personal storage areas for every passenger on a wide dive deck. The Master fleet is specifically geared toward underwater photography; personal camera storage space is available both outdoors and indoors, with charging stations. Master fleet staff are specially trained to handle delicate gear, so you’ll never have to worry about a water-logged camera case or a scratched lens.
The Master liveaboard itineraries range from classic tours of the world’s best dive sites to skills- and interest-based voyages. If you’re keen to improve your underwater photography, consider a photography workshop. If you want to give back to the ocean, consider a conservation voyage led by top marine scientists; these itineraries combine diving with meaningful data collection for shark and manta research. There are dedicated tech trips to wrecks in the Red Sea and Truk Lagoon for divers who seek to combine tech and liveaboard diving. Life on a Master Liveaboard
Every Master liveaboard features gorgeous interior design, with a unique color theme and ambience. From plush couches to elegant cocktail seating to streamlined sun loungers, the Master fleet creates the atmosphere of a high-class floating hotel. Fresh towels are provided after every dive, beds are often dressed with full duvets, and bathrooms (most of which are ensuite) are fully equipped. The cabins also enjoy individual air conditioning. High-speed satellite internet can be booked. Food on the Master liveaboard fleet is buffet-style, with western and regional offerings. Beverages include herbal teas, fruit juice, coffee, and a full bar- plus an espresso machine. With advance notice, dietary restrictions can be catered to.

Galapagos Master
The Galápagos Master Liveaboard, the first vessel in the fleet, is a steel-hulled, eco-friendly ship with enough camera amenities to support a full film-and-video charter! You’ll surely not miss any photo opportunities in this unparalleled destination. The Galapagos dive sites may host the most marine life of any dive location worldwide: plentiful hammerhead sharks, silky sharks, whale sharks, turtles, seals, and even endemic penguins and marine iguanas.
Solomons Master
The Solomons Master Liveaboard is the perfect Master fleet vessel for divers who want to get off the beaten path. The archipelago’s 992 islands (only 147 of which are inhabited) offer reefs without crowds of people. The dive sites are crowded in terms of fish, from the very large (pilot whales, for example) to the very small (a vast array of seahorses, nudibranchs, and ghost pipefish).
Pacific Master
The Pacific Master is fully dedicated to exploring the Truk (Chuuk) lagoon in the Federated States of Micronesia. Truk is the pinnacle of tropical wreck diving; no fewer than 60 wrecks lie submerged within its coral reef border. Many of the sunken vessels hail from the 1944 surprise attack of Allied forces on the Japanese warships stationed in the lagoon. Both technical and recreational divers can enjoy the wrecks, reefs, and pelagics of Truk Lagoon from the comfort of the Pacific Master’s three decks, outfitted in a classy palette of light brown and white.
Thailand Master
Thailand Master, also known as The Phinisi, is a traditional Indonesian sailing yacht offering unforgettable liveaboard diving experiences in Thailand and Myanmar. Accommodating up to 18 guests, it features a spacious dive deck with ample storage for gear, as well as a shaded outdoor dining area at the stern—perfect for enjoying panoramic views between dives. Guests can savor a mix of Western favorites and authentic Thai cuisine prepared fresh daily, while the friendly and experienced crew ensures a seamless, comfortable, and memorable diving adventure throughout the journey.
Indo Master
Built on the Indonesian island of Sulawesi, the Indo Master is a stunning liveaboard handcrafted from traditional ironwood and teak. Accommodating up to 18 guests, it offers 9 cabins, each with air-conditioning, en-suite bathrooms, and premium bedding. Guests can relax in the air-conditioned saloon with a cocktail bar, enjoy freshly prepared cuisine, and take advantage of one of the most spacious dive decks in Indonesia, complete with dedicated camera facilities. With two Zodiacs, kayaks, paddleboards, and attentive service throughout, Indo Master delivers a seamless and elevated diving experience.
Maldives Master
Maldives Master is a 42m liveaboard for up to 26 guests, delivering an exceptional diving experience in the Maldives. The vessel features a range of cabins, an inviting indoor lounge, a dining area, a bar, and an outdoor jacuzzi. Multiple sun decks and a unique ocean deck at the stern with floodlights often attract manta rays and whale sharks for unforgettable evening encounters. Diving operations are supported by the dedicated dhoni Blue Shadow, a fully equipped 19m support vessel with ample personal space and camera facilities, ensuring smooth, efficient, and world-class diving throughout the trip.
